Non-shiny is way better in the long run. Although Special Attack is what matters most. IVs don't really matter until level 50 at least. Shiny is fine now but non-shiny will do so much better in the long run. If you like the shiny by asthestics, I'd say shiny.

Sadly my 3DS copy of Smash got stolen about a month ago so it's all Wii U now. That one loss of Mac vs Samus though was a classic case of me scrub Side-B'ing off the edge. It happens to the best of us. Tbh Pyrrhon's also right about my Ganon. My Ganon is pretty bleh at best. It's my Sonic, Dedede, Link (which Pyrrhon absolutely destroyed), and Mac you should watch for. Either way, I'm open to try out against any of you guys with a Wii U. PS. My Little Mac can also consistently beat Frarpreto's Falco.

Well I finally got around to actually saving a replay of my Smashing skills. Lemme just say this. If I can do this to Pyrrhon's Luigi, then I think we're getting somewhere. This wasn't our first match, but with this matchup I believe I'm 2-0 or maybe 2-1 P.S - I wish either of us could have saved the first match. I only won because I Side-B'ed him right off the stage to the spike of death (and I would have died otherwise). So there you go. GG Pyrrhon. You play a pretty dang good Luigi.

Well something funny happened at my house a couple days ago. My father opened the mail and noticed a Happy Birthday card to him from someone he didn't pay attention to at first. He opened the card and out popped a discount card for a company called AARP. For those who aren't aware, AARP is basically a company that provides services for mostly the elderly. For my old man to get that, he was nearly appalled by it. However, recently he's laughing it off, because he's getting ready to turn 50. So he's not really "old" in a technical sense, but the AARP card was a telltale sign someone obviously thought he was. Anyways, I'm gonna be turning 18 next month and I've seen some of the ages of Reborn's regulars who have confided them on the site, and some of us have seen quite a couple changes in the world since we were born. It got me to thinking: "Holy hell we're getting old." This is more of a nostalgia thread, but it made me think of certain things most of us have probably grown up experiencing that kids only a couple years younger than us haven't ever gotten the privilege to see. Anyways, I'll start. Do you guys remember Saturday Morning Cartoons? I made a thread on that a while back, but they died out a while ago. I'm not talking cable or other premium TV, I'm talking the run-of-the-mill public access channel that ran from 7-12. Some OLD shows like Teen Titans (the original), Yugioh, Pokémon (up to DP), and some other rogue shows that were pretty cool. What do you guys remember that in hindsight makes you feel kinda old?

Well judging by what you'll be facing, which I won't spoil much of, I've found Noivern very useful. Although it does suck that you can't go back to Reborn City at that time. So you're gonna be stuck on that end of the map. To be honest, your team looks fairly solid as it is. Although you may want to pick up another squad member or two for reserves. In that point of the game, I'd suggest Turtwig, which you can grab from a Circus puzzle, and maybe an Ice type such as Sneasel. Both will be pretty useful for your upcoming fights and most of the remaining leaders. The team, otherwise, looks fairly solid. You may want to slap Surf over Water Pledge on Greninja, and perhaps just more powerful moves. You don't need 2 priorities on it. Gothitelle, please remove Feint Attack and put Trick Room on it (which you got from Radomus). Trick Room will be quite useful in some important upcoming battles.

Sadly most Ubers, even the non-legends, and the pseudos. Tyranitar and Metagross would be your best bets in my opinion. Both have HUGE options in terms of what you're looking for. Speed can be mitigated for both. One gets Dragon Dance. One gets Agility. Both get Rock Polish. Meta gets Hone Claws. T-tar can Swords Dance. Metagross gets a priority move. Meta gets a HUGE speed boost with Mega Evolution. Both get Mega Evolution, which opens more options. Both can survive non-super effective hits no problem. Tyranitar under Sand with an Assault Vest will eat neutral special hits for breakfast. Metagross can do similar with an Assault Vest. Both have great physical movepools, but they also have awesome special movepools if you're willing to invest in their decent Special Attack. They both can tear holes in things. Particularly T.tar with Dragon Dance or Mega Metagross with a Tough Claws boost. If I were to suggest a Pokemon, I'd say either one of those 2. If I were to suggest for Reborn, Metagross because it's the only one obtainable.

Welp... Normal: Probably Linoone. It's the only one of this trope to get two of the most amazing moves in Extremespeed and Belly Drum. Also Racoons are pretty cool. I never really liked the Furret family. Their design is prettt cute, but man they have nothing to bring to the table in competitive play. Bird: Staraptor from day one was my favorite. It looks just as boss as the power it packs. It's the only bird without a broken ability (looking at you Gale Wings) I can see in normal play. Likewise, I don't really like Talonflame. Other than Gale Wings, it has nothing awesome to bring to the table unless you count Will-o-Wisp. Also it broke the Normal/Flying cycle GF had going for 5 generations. Bug: Beedrill. Mega Beedrill is the only reason I like anything from this trope. Otherwise the rest of them pretty much suck. Pikaclone: Pachirisu is my favorite. You know you are doing something right when you show up in a World Championship finals. Dedenne is the worst imo. It brought little that the others could. Pseudolegend: A silver Pokemon from the silver age of the games. Metagross. Just the badass look enough will warrant it as my favorite. Pretty good stats too. However, they screwed up on Goodra. They turned it into a wall rather than a sweeper/tank like all the other pseudos. And that is what I think.
