KNOW THAT GAMEPLAN! Know what you're doing, why you're doing it, and how you're going to do it. Adapt to the the battle as it unfolds while trying to carry out your mission. That's the biggest goal, outmaneuvering your opponent and getting into a place when you can destroy them with your win con. Pokemon is a lot like chess, it's not jsut playing the field, but playing your opponent and adapting to their plan while trying to carry out yours.

Thanks for the advice, sensei~ I'll definitely practice a bit more with this team, as well as continue my research on the Leaders from their battle logs (I already have a pretty good idea of their strategies anyway).

Of course Chubb. Jsut apply that info to your team and you're golden. Don't fall into "THat guy did this to win I should do that." Nope... you do your team, not another team. If you fundmentally understand this and apply your knowledge right you'll do wonders kid.
