Started watching The Dragon Prince yesterday. The animation is a bit choppy but the same strength of writing that made Atla so good still shines through.

it's gonna be like 16 more hours until we finally know who our next BBTAG characters are gonna be. I can't wait!

Divinity: Original Sin II is a good game. Playing Elf/Warfare/Necro rn and it's pretty fun so far.

My favorite genre of game is "skill tree so large it blots out the sun"

So excited for the new BBTAG balance changes. Sure my main Ruby is getting nerfed, but she's still likely gonna be a strong character regardless, and my other most played characters, like Merkava and Aigis, are all getting buffed.

It's s bizzare how Dusknoir can have three stats equal or greater than 100 and still be so bad that no-one at Smogon wants anything to do with it.

just spent like 45 minutes making a post only to have it dissapear before my very eyes. wut.

Oh well, at least writing it let me make up my mind on which pokemon to use. Gastrodon might not have the greatest physical bulk, but Storm Drain should protect Camerupt from Toxapex while they wreak havoc on the enemy poison types.

Nim keeps kicking my ass because my marshtomp has flinched every attempt so far. I hate this.

I'm trying to build a physical tank Cofagrigus. I bred T-spikes and a modest nature, but....her defense IV is, like, 1. I'm thinking of just using this one, and catching another one later on with better IVs to breed when I have more money for pokeballs.

I just reached Apophyll for the first time and it's AMAZING. I love the different music for everything, the new wild pokemon, and the general calm atmosphere of the academy. Even if fighting isn't exactly my favorite type, Apophyll is definitely my favorite part of Reborn so far.

Also Pulse Muk was a bastard but thankfully I had a cat with dual screens and a ghost owl with a special defense stat.

Finally finished episode 2 of Gen:LOCK. I'm so psyched! I'm very happy with how RT has finally gotten a diverse set of main characters, I love Tennant as Dr. Weller, and the Power Ranger vibes from the different color mechs really speak to me. 

And that opening? Is a damn banger.

Just beat Shade for the first time ever! I'm finally on to new (to me) content for the first time in YEARS! Couldn't be happier.

Won by using prankster screens, discharge to change to factory field, and Klingklang's Gear Grind to absolutely eat Mimikyu alive.

Citrine mountain, just before shade's gym, is such a high-risk place to train. Like, even the level 27 chubchoo are fast enough to chip some Pokemon, and every once in a while you run into a simple CM woobat, or an over levelled Donphan, or a level 48 beartic...not the one in the basement btw, I mean a WILD level 48 ice bear.

On the upside, I've got two shiny Swinub already, and Close Combat Snubbul (my current project, going up to 37 for Play Rough to take on the Scraggy event) makes short work of the ice types.

Good News: I've beaten everything up to Shade. This is the farthest I've ever gotten.

Bad news: I may have locked myself out of the Bike forever. I'm not sure if the police officer is going to testify to my good character (to Ms. Craudberry after the gang theft) when I'm a wanted crook.

A part of me wants to go try Pokemon Insurgence again, given all the cool Deltas and Megas, but then I remember that the first gym is a competitive sun team with drought Vulpix directly into Chlorophyll Ivysaur with sleep powder and solarbeam. Why would a first gym have a 120 bp move at level 25? I dunno.

Also it's an 8-gym game that ends around level 100 and most of the really cool Deltas are postgame.

Had a double header today vs. Venam and Corey. 

Venam I feel was a little under levelled, what with how easy it is to get exp in Normal mode. Other than that, I like seviper as a boss Mon. It's what the snake deserves.

Corey I've dueled many a time, and this was probably my easiest run ever. Does his corrosive mist version Crobat not carry Air Cutter anymore? I put clear body Klink in front of that thing and charged to +4 spdef before I realized it couldn't affect the gears at all. Other than that, Numel is amazing for this gym, and Pachirisu is falling off hard, so I'm glad that I'm already training Mareep to replace it.

I love how early you can pick up ghost types in rejuvenation. I know Shuppet falls off HARD later on, but for now Knock Off, Shadow Sneak, WOW, and ghost in general is super fun to play around with. I also love how with the exp gains never make you feel like you're grinding. I've just gotten done with the last of the sidequests and half my team is level 20 with very little grinding during the team sections.

just did the Munna event in Rejuvenation, and it came Barrier replacing the only attacking move. It doesn't learn another special attack until 37 LOL. I'm not mad at all, I'm pretty amused. There are more if I want them, but I'm good tbh. Munna just isn't my jam.

How in the world are you supposed to do the grubbin/joltik event in Peridot ward?

I've stumbled around in the dark for ages and found nothing!

I kept getting deja Vu through all of Gearen City, but when I got to Route 1 it suddenly hit me--the early battle music was a remix of the D/P/Pt Trainer theme, and R1/Goldenwood was a remix of the Eterna Forest theme. Diamond was my first Pokemon game ages and ages ago, so I took that revelation like a nostalgia punch to the gut.

based on the new stuff I've seen from Ame's stream, I might actually try Rejuvenation again. I hope they shortened the intro though...
