At the risk of literally counting my chickens before they hatch, it is highly likely that I got a Larvesta from the mystery egg. I'm so excited! It has actually not-awful stats for a pre-Corey mon, and it'll come online just a little while after Camerupt (my current fire-type) falls off. I've just gotta run for 30 years to hatch it lol

Running through Reborn again, just beat the first Pulse Tangrowth. Catching Klink is always such a pain but it's soooo worth it. Also this is my first time using that Espurr stuck in the house, Psybeam at 16 is ridiculous.

Just got done sp training my +5 Veronica from CYL 2. I'd say six 5* focuses is pretty solid for four months of saved orbs. Still got about 400 more orbs, but I'm going to wait until the legendary banner before I start spending again.

The time is finally nigh...the CYL 2 FEH channel is tonight, at 11:30 EST!

Been playing more BBTAG with Merkava and Ruby. This is so much fun!

Man, playing the new SMT mobile game just made me realize: Smite, the so-called battleground of the gods, just doesn't have Horus. He's kinda the current king of the gods in egyptian mythology, why isn't he in yet? It's been years!

The CYL 2 suspense is killing me.

Put bluntly, I have never had this many orbs before. How much will I have to sacrifice to fit 1k orbs of units into my barracks? Will that even be enough? *Why has IntSys discarded CYL 2 as a discussion topic?*

I am vibrating with untapped and heretofore unknown power, and I have *nothing* to use it on.

BBTAG is so much fun. I'm like 1 and 18 in online and yet I still love it.

Is it purely RNG whether or not Illumise uses rain dance? Or can I manipulate it not to?

I honestly don't know why Mechquest is so nostalgic to me. It's just a random, grindy ol' mecha rpg. But still....there's literally nothing else that uses mechas that appeals to me. It's all pvp shooters, either traditional like Titanfall or as glorified tank-battle games with purposefully clunky controls like Mechwarriors. MQ just has explosions, cool weapons/mechas, pve content, and lots of all three.

Finally at Corey again...the first gym I ever lost to, every run he's a massive hump to get over. Plus, I finished the police quest before fighting Taka+ZEL, so I'll be going up against the gas field for the first time. Wish me luck!

Edit: victorious on the second try. Even critting with Nasty Plot and a 3 level advantage, Crobat couldn't break Klink once I started stacking Charge. I have a new and serious appreciation for this pokemon. Shame that I'll probably have to dump it now, since I'm planning to light Shelly on fire and when I get to Shade I'll have access to Magneton for a steel type. Oh well...

...I have no idea how I'm gonna salvage this one; unless my memory has failed me and we get a move reminder before we get done with Azurine Island, this thing has less of an offensive move pool and more a move *puddle*. It even conflicts with the Swoobat I'm already training...

Just spent 20+ minutes running around waiting for an egg only to find i'd put two female pokemon in the daycare T-T

....that has to be the easiest Florina fight I've ever gotten. I finally had something to outspeed and OHKO Breloom, and Combusken beat Cradily+a super potion with just 8 hp to spare. Finally, I'm back on a roll!

Man, Desolation's Early-game feels much easier than it used to be. Granted, this time I'm not trying to raise 6 pokemon before fighting Kukui, but I actually feel like I have a handle on things for once. There's also a bunch of wild pokemon added as well--I'm dead certain that Poliwag and Numel weren't obtainable this early.

It's also my first run where I have a legitimate strategy for Connor, instead of "take a fast fire starter and try and overpower him". Welp, wish me luck!
