  1. It looks good. Minor nitpicking, but Darm has no item, haha. Also I prefer using Adamant medi, because the power is worth it. And maybe Whimsical could use Leech Seed or Stun Spore more, to spread paralysis and act as a speed control to help medicham clean later.
  2. The pit of Houndoom? Oh my, that's certainly...hellish! (I don't have to explain that pun, do I? Look at Houndoom's Jap name, if anything.) Anyways, as far as Munchlax goes...eh. yet, not a Snorlax yet, not too useful for me. Let it evolve and breed with a Torterra or an Avalugg until it sires an offspring with Curse, then we'll talk.
  3. Unown is so bad though, that if ever I were to catch one, I'd want to UN-OWN it! *Is shot* Anyways, the only fun I see in using a team of Unown is to make a vulgar six-letter word out of them in the Team Preview!
  4. It doesn't get Roost and defog is ass on it tho. And yeah, the top view thing is a little off-kilter tapering, but you know me, I'm HARDCORE and so ink right off the bat. Mistakes cannot be erased. The wings are bendy, but let that pass because of paper size. Also yes, the right lower wing is at a reversed angle. I was gonna add the biology description in, but it'd be too long. Basically it's this: Mega Yanmega has compound eyes that wrap around its head like goggles, and hence it has a highly vivid 360° view that is beyond the comprehension of the human eye. Its six wings are all powered by independent sets of muscles (see the blue orbs to which each wing is attached) that allow each to be flapped and moved independently to a range of upto 270° in any direction. This extreme maneuverability makes Mega Yanmega the most nimble of fliers. It can rotate all of its wings in opposite figure 8 motions to hover perfectly still in mid-air. The wing illustration shows it doing so to make sharp twists and turns without checking its speed. The body is segmented into thirteen parts: head, three-segmented thorax and nine-segmented abdomen. A row of crests emerge from its head and three principal thorax segments, and smaller fins emerge along each abdominal segment, which amplify its aerodynamics. The shape of the red wing coverts is designed to create lift and reduce drag, like airplane wing flaps. The ultimate abdominal segment possesses the rudder-like pair of wings as well as sharp recurved fins that are of a similar shape to an aircraft's tail fins and serve the same aerodynamic purpose. They also double as a sharp, bladelike trident or pincer with which Mega Yanmega can assault prey. It has two pairs of mouthparts: A short, sharp pair that is used for consumption and a large, red pair that cuts through air and flesh with equal impunity. Its three pairs of legs are streamlined and possess fins on their edges, allowing them to enter the slipstream of its mandibles and minimize drag. the backward pointing claws help to seize prey in a vise grip, while also again minimizing drag in flight. (And that's supposed to be dried blood, not nail polish, weenie!) The row of 'gills' along its body are actually grooved spiracles that act as vents for Mega Yanmega to breathe and thermoregulate as it exerts itself in flight. The shape of the grooves also again minimizes forward drag. And the size of the bottom segment is just perspective. It's pointing the sharp pincer blades at you in a vicious aerial Jab, so don't worry, its not a fat arse! And as for the stats...I want it to raze things to the ground, haha. And from a competitive aspect, its just what we need to punch some holes and do what Mega Sharpedo is meant to do (but which can't because of its fraility and being forced to run Protect) that is, clean up late game with a speed boost under its belt and blood on its fangs.
  5. The breeding mechanics changed from Gen5 to gen6 after ep 12, so subsequently TM moves cannot be bred. In or prior to ep 12, you can breed TM moves from only the father. So yes, ep12 will be fine if you want to get specific moves.
  6. Well, I didn't start that war. I blame that other guy! Anyways, I do agree that Nickaboo92's old one was a great play through,m much better in quality of gameplay than shofu's. I believe Sacred has also done one, but I haven't seen that.
  7. I suppose none of us would want to talk about their crazy gimmicks here before they're used, mh? I like the idea of this thread so much though, and in fact you've given me an idea for poaching this and having a general thread on gimmicks. It'll be a bit of a rip-off of Smogon, maybe, but it'll be fun to talk about them in our little Reborn community, right?
  8. Not bad at all! I like it. Needs more SAUR though!
  9. Dragon Tail Dragalge with Toxic Spikes. Nobody really seems to expects that one in OU, and I'm having enormous fun spreading the venom and Toxic-shuffling with it. Of course, it can always drop a Draco in a pinch and blow something back, too. My idea of a workable underrated set...

You mean there are any Dragalge's sets that AREN'T walled by Klefki? o.O

I mean ok, Scald always burns etc etc, but Dragalge's SpAtk is kinda meh anyway. Only moves the guy hard that hit hard are its STABs, because of Adaptability...

Who the hell would leave a Dragalge without Scald or HP Fire in on Klefki? And you speak as if Klefki was like, Rotom-W or something. It's not that prevalent.

I really dislike it when people say "oh, but you're walled by SomerandomX" as an argument for dissing on a perfectly fine Mon. For that matter, Talonflame is hard walled by friggin Corsola, that doesn't mean it's unviable, is it?

And yea, Tomas. That's the set. As Hushie says, this set i...

...is evil because fairies, the one thing that stop Dtail phasing, never in their right minds switch in on Dragalge. It works well to check Keldeo and ZardY and stuff like that too.

  10. Minor nitpick, Solaris's Scizor murderizes Serperior, unless you bothered to put HP Fire on it. But yes, I do second that Serperior ought to be a little higher on the list, because although it is horribly weak until a late stage when it gets Leaf Storm to abuse, and although it doesn't get Dragon Pulse or anything yet, and although it needs to have HP Fire or Ground to be able to do anything at all, and although it has a poor typing both offensively and defensively, and although there are other, more immediately powerful grass types like Roserade available....actually wait, that's a very long list of flaws. Still, its one niche is solid, so maybe a teensy upgrade from C to B- would be fine? I'll do something about Krookodile and Dragalge in a bit. Reserved. Also, are you editing in our reviews to update the main list? I don't see any of our later reviews incorporated.
  11. You seem to be rather newish here. Thus I excuse you for your insolence. What's a lowly L'Oreal reject to a sentient tricloptic UFO magnet-being with untold alien powers?
  12. Shofu is rather amusing, yes. Especially when he had that other guy(s) with 'im. He does suck at the game's puzzles, though. And gets stumped by some not-very-uncommon words employed therein, which makes snobby old me laugh a bit, especially when he gets indignant. And his Magnezone's IVs make me cringe. At least he's a man of taste and discernment, for he has accepted the Magnet Lord as the one true Power.
  13. But..you don't have a Yanmega or a Heracross! How can you not have a Yanmega or a Heracross! Also I see you have the Wormadamn, aka NotWorthADamn. That's literal trash, please substitute it for any of the aforesaid, or even with a Durant or Forretress if you want a Bug/Steel type. I'm fairly sure Durant is found somewhere.
  14. And now for hibernation until the next scan leaks or trailer! Zzz... But yes, I agree in that having a frontier would be excellent post-game. Even if it seems unlikely that they'll do it, given the dumbing-down of the difficulty of games since DPPt.
  15. Nothing wrong with being excited. I'm glad that my twiddles are appreciated with such eagerness. As for being an arsenal...
  16. It's okay, Drymus, we have only lost a battle, not the war. We can always learn more from our losses anyhow, and have that experience be useful in our next endeavours.
  17. Haha, I said I'm drawing Megas and evolutions of old favourites, mind you! It's upcoming~ Also, I added in the Stats and analysis for Yanmega! Thanks very much for the appreciation!
  18. Thanks for the mentions, Ody. I had thought at first that I could have elements of 4♠ or possibly even 10♣, but when I read on I realized that you mean me by 9♣. I'm glad to have met you, Ody, and I wish you all success in every endeavour.
  19. You get brownie points for dedication. Weenie? I did something, grant it the boon of your attention.
  20. I told you I have started to like Yanmega. Behold, the new series: MEGAS! That's right, I'm drawing Megas and evolutions for some old favourites. starting off with the Original Mega: Yanmega! More soon!
  21. As a rule, I prefer to let my actions and demeanor talk for me, but seeing as this is specifically asking me to talk about myself, I will. I do not wish to sound arrogant, but neither was I ever one for false modesty. Truth be told, I am well pleased with many characteristics that I have inculcated: I have been told that I am calm, pragmatic, analytical, knowledgeable, highly creative, resilient, strongly moral, and have proven myself to be a rock (or is it a Steel?) for many of those I consider my friends to lean on. If anything, I am grateful to my family and my upbringing for giving me a good character. Naturally, I have my restraints, but this is not the place to talk about them. Of my virtues, I am most proud about my unquestionable morality of conduct, in all walks of life which I have trodden. It is not to say that I have not erred or hurt people in life; despite being made wiser by caution and incurring them rarely, I have of course made mistakes. But I believe in the spirit of honesty and humility. There is no power like the power of self-mastery, as I have once mentioned before; to be unflinchingly able to meet any probe or question with full assurance of morality of action, devoid of guilt, deceit or shame. Right, so to speak, is might with me. This may as well be a good place to point out the distinction between pride and vanity. I am proud, but I am not vain, of my character.
  22. Hello and welcome to Reborn! I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay here.
  23. Happy birthday, Scarlet! Wishing you a great year ahead!
  24. Ha. Haha. Hahahahahaha! When one thinks VIRI, one thinks of only one Pokémon... PRAISE THE LORD AND SAVIOUR MAGNEZONE Need I say more? All right, getting serious: I have a preference for alien, inorganic, mechanical or otherwise non-bionic Pokémon, such as Metagross, Deoxys, Starmie, Magnezone, Porygon-Z, and so on. I draw a parallel with the idea of unconventional life forms, especially such as these, which to me are the manifestation of advanced intelligence and pure thought without the encumbrances of emotional or sentimental appeals. Consequently, I also like the abilities Analytic, Download, Technician and so on. I chose Magnezone to be my 'signature' because it meets the most out of the aforementioned conditions, and is also a Steel type, to which type I am partial. With the passage of time, and with my own somewhat dry and rarefied demeanor, Magnezone became synonymous with me. I do indulge this joke a little (or a lot, depending on the extent to which people get annoyed by the puns I make) and even went so far as to celebrate the Tenth of May as Magnezone Day, so I guess that is now indelible as my 'signature'. There's also the fact that I have 222 assorted Magnemites, Magnetons and Magnezones in Reborn, a result of my perfectionistic obsession with breeding perfect HP Fire IVs: There's a good six boxes more.
