  1. This thread very clearly distinguishes my allies, however unlikely, from my sworn enemies, some of whom might have otherwise been friendly. no one cares about the neutrals, they're immaterial in this war
  2. Dogs. 1010. This is Bruno. He's big, stupid, friendly and is always ready with hugs.
  3. What if we started making Pokemon in reality? I should imagine that the artificial/mechanical Pokemon that I like would be among the first to be made. For instance: http://imgur.com/boLjuHD

It's actually intended to resemble both Metagross and Magnezone, with elements of Klinklang as well. This is the ultimate mechanical monster.

    3. Garnet.

      Garnet.

ok but adding those details makes it less like pokemon and you know it

as a standalone piece its very cool but that is not the essence of pokemon

    4. Shamitako

      Shamitako

^Yeah, melding them into one thing takes away from the individual concepts

  4. More hints. Wouldn't it be horrifying in real life to construct a Metagross mecha?
  5. Well, I was very obviously being sarcastic there, since A-Raichu's explanation for an extremely arbitrary type and form change is literal brain-poop. I was mocking the ridiculous ways in which GF could revamp any old thing with negligible context. But if you're taking it seriously, I actually have no idea. Magnemite probably should stay biologically genderless, since, well, it's not a biological creature, but rather a mechanical robotic one. I like your idea of deltas, but personally an Ice type Magnemite is a ghastly sacrilege in my eyes so eh :/ still, it's a good conceptual idea.
  6. Ah, my good man, been a while since I last checked in here. I trust everything has been going well? Judging by the lack of team deaths, I gather as much. Now, if memory serves, you'll have to be up versus Terra and her dirty grounds next. I know this is a blind run, but, a small hint: better have your water, grass or ice types be special attackers, if you can. Also, well done with the previous lot of episodes. Very entertaining. Ignore Heather and her Salamence for the most part, though. The most logical explanation is that she simply did not try to get out of that shed until the player and Shelly remotivated her to come out of that black mood.
  7. So we have dealt with enough of megas by now, and we know that the new bullcrap wonderful mechanic they're showcasing is the Alola-exclusive alternate forms, or Delta forms as they're popularly called. These are old Pokemon which are given a completely new typing, abilities, stats and even movepools; in essence, a complete revamp. So, what monstrous beautiful redesign would you dream up? They needn't be only Gen1 Pokemon, for the premise of this post. As for me... Well, I mean, if a rat can become psychic and start surfing on its tail while levitating, because it apparently ate too many sweet pancakes...
  8. Follow Magnezone, because as I had earlier illustrated elsewhere, the mad lemon is also a magnet-in-the-making. Nevermind what sheep says.
  9. Hey. Guess what Gyarados is very weak to? Electric. And hey, guess what I got? PRAISE THE ONE TRUE MAGNET LORD
  10. My young niece asked, "What does that cloud look like?" "A bunch of condensed water particles", I reply.

  11. I'm not actually a very forgiving chap.
  12. I do maths and stats and accounts. I'd ask to be killed now but one can't kill something that is not alive to begin with. Joking aside, I'm doing two courses at once: A college course in economics and stats for a degree and a Chartered Accountancy course for further professional qualification. The latter entails me working with a firm as an articled student (for now, until I finish my final exam in two years) where I am part of an audit and tax assessment team. This is my living for now, as a student, though I am not dependent on the stipend I receive there. Along with a childhood friend of mine, I also used to run a start-up that was in the poster and book business, and it was quite fairly profitable, but I retired my stake in it last year. (Probably for the better, since it made a loss this year, but sssh...)
  13. Suddenly I appear and throw the existing pattern of guesses out of all order, into the yawning maw of that fell beast, Chaos, which, ever lurking at the very cusp of insanity, waits with immortal patience to lunge at the pale shreds of wandering thought that, knowing not their peril, edge too close to that Primeval horror... Micky?
  14. Three places there are when one is prone to philosophy: a place of religion, a place of solitude, and while waiting at the barbershop.

    1. Alchemia Chan

      Alchemia Chan

I manage to think philosophically in crowds because even when I'm around people, I'm still alone.

  15. As far as I am concerned, one can't truly be responsible for an entity that does not exist, and neither can it be responsible for oneself, even if one can fancy anything in imagination. I think the talk about love ends right there, and all else is only attachment other than real love, be it whatever degree of caring or concern or enjoyment or obsession or lust or what-have-you, and be it a positive appreciation for literature/media or any other morbid extremes that many human minds tend to stray towards...So while I follow your point, I would replace 'love' for 'attachments'. I could make a further case, but... Heavy vehicles not allowed on that two-way road I read of? All right, time to take a U-turn and head back to work, then.
  16. Dashed awkward me saying anything here when I've not even been a part of Amazon for half the season, but I would nonetheless want to praise Amazon and all you guys for the wonderful spirit put into nations, due only to which that it was such a success. We may not have won, but I'm sure it was a good run for us, and we can truthfully say that 'twas at least partly because Atlantis snitched Steel and Electric off of us that we had not been strongest of all this time around. I was proud to have played my small roles in this nation. Praise the Magnet Lord, and let us wish each other well in our future endeavours!
  17. Felicitabulations and clapplaudolades to you of your wonderbulastous victory! 'Twas a good run, and you of all nations have pulled a great return. though you probably owed your victory in part to the absence of the Magnet Lord on our rosters
  18. And I even had the full 16 stanzas prepared, too...Jeri escapes the Magnet Pull this time.

    1. Ironbound

      Ironbound

The ignominy is worsened by the fact that Atlantis barred us from Steel as well as Electric. Meanies :^]

    2. Ojama Yellow
  19. Good show! Great praise to Atlantis and my Amazon friends and well. I'm only slightly unhappy, but that's mostly because Jeri escapes his obligation... Tch. There'll be a chance later, I'll wager.
  20. Fun fact: Babiri Berry = Biriba, a kind of spiny tropical fruit related to custard apples.
  21. I have made my mark on this 1000th page. My purpose here is fulfilled. While it's been a fun five days, it's time for another sixty or so to pass before I show up again. Tootles~ Micky?
  22. Do not worry. You suffer not from idiocy but from a severe underappreciation of puns. A few sessions with me will do the trick, I'll wager. For instance, I suggest that you go to Bulbapedia and look at the 'Name Origin' section of all Pokémon, and understand that most of them have a name pun that varies from basic to clever. Look at the Lake Trio that represents Spirit, for instance. They have been said to inculcate Wisdom, Emotion and Willpower in people, and their respective names are: Wisdom: Uxie = You (indicating knowledge of the other) + Pixie Emotion: Mesprit = Me (the self anf its passions) + Sprite Willpower: Azelf = Us (strength is in unity) + Elf Pretty neat, what? Although Mesprit should be called Desprit because it's such absolute ass.
