      Why, what's the reason?

  2. Ban Tempest. I call upon the modgods to fling the mighty Hammer of Heavenly Banning. 1194
  3. Five, seven and five; the way of reputation; a poetic sum.

Foolish delusion. Haiku is a noble art. Sully it not, pleb!

  4. 1192 Where are the mods when you need em.
  5. Not this fellow again. SOUND THE CALL! 1193!
  6. 1192. Micky, I like it. Hit 1199 and please me more. Woofle.
  7. Hey, see those leopards and lions and tigers and stuff that maul people? Definitely not cats. Your logic is bad. And the number of dogs who turn aggressive is miniscule compared to the number which serves man loyally as companions, nurses and guides. 1181. RESOUND THE CALL
  8. 1179. SOUND THE CALL!
  9. 1179. Your attitude amazes me.
  10. I was referring to the number 1177, which has some elements of numerical sequence. I have no idea what Tetsuwhatnot is, and if 1177 has some reference to that I am unaware. You are correct in your earliest impression; I don't care much for anime. 1179.
  11. I do enjoy reading these topics of yours, Hunter, though it is unfortunate that I do not follow American politics very closely. Despite that, it is easy to see the analysis and reasoning behind your discussions, and that only adds to my understanding. It's a pity I cannot make an educated contribution to anything outside the tangled web of Indian and South Asian politics, but I can take this opportunity to express my appreciation for these discussions you raise.
  12. 1170 Die, spawn of Sauron!
  13. 1168. Did you notice that Sauron's disembodied eye, yellow with a slit pupil, looks JUST LIKE A CAT'S!?
  14. Clap clap clap *bows* Yes, I did intend to give it an otherworldly, ethereal imprint. Hence the whole fantastic theme, though as usual I try to preserve some kind of biological accuracy in it. It may be a Primeval raptorial creature of some kind, yes, half dinosaur and half bird, though whether the feathers are for display, insulation or may be capable of flight is yet to be seen. Maybe it is multipurpose, who knows?
  15. Resounding the call! 1165! Come hither, ye mods from afar! Gondor calls for aid! See you not, the beacons of the Ered Nimrais are lit!?
  16. Perhaps I ought to notify people that my art thread is slowly running again. No changes in its operations yet, though. But after November, I can start accepting requests and slowly turn it from a mere gallery into a commissions thread.

Time is a horrible desideratum after all, though I find drawing, however casual, to be the best way to relax.

  17. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh. Welcome back, and let's hope this thing shakes the rust off and starts getting things done again. Also tbh only this particular style of 'fantasy' sketches really work our in the freestyle mode, so to speak. Most of my other works usually have a clear premeditated image conceived before I start drawing. But in this sort of stuff it's better to turn the brain off and let the mind work, yes. Risk is higher, though, since I don't use pencil or eraser and do not make a framework to build on, but rather just venture without trial. But yes, thanks for the long-winded welcome! Now to see if the Virirep syndrome starts off again
  18. Just random drawings. A pen sketch again, after a longish while. I like to call these things 'free mind' sketches, where the pen takes command without a premeditated design imagined. It just takes shadow on impulse, so even I don't know how it turns out. Negative space is crucial to show the texture of black, white and grey here, since after all pen ink is only black, and strokes cannot be reversed or corrected.
  19. One of the succulents in my cactus garden. It looks nice and fresh with a new crown, doesn't it?
  20. TFW I don't actually feel anything. I blame lack of sleep for reducing my performance down to core functions only.
