  2. Interesting how Firered/Leafgreen take place around the time of ORAS, I was always under the implication that around that point there was one and only one pokemon league
  3. It actually states that Rowlet can both kick and attack from a distance, my money is on a mixed attacker with its main redeeming factor being access to several of the kicking moves. HJK Owl anyone?
  4. Track one is almost certainly something for those evil team dudes Edit: They're all beautiful fyi
  5. The fact that there is proper Solaris art makes me the happiest guy in the world
  6. I mean I'm not quite sure how a very small bulk and speed boost combined with a 5% damage increase would justify a mega slot but maybe that is just me. Either way, hell I'd use it just because I love Nidoking xD
  7. Wasn't this on the Insurgence board? Anyways since Nidoking's power relies mainly on a life orb to compliment sheer force, 100 bonus stats really would not justify a mega slot so you'll have to get a bit crazy with this one. In terms of stats I would go 81/142/80/125/80/95. Its defenses get rounded out nicely while its speed gets boosted but only modestly to fit with its bulky appearance. It's offenses get the largest boost with about 40 in both stats keeping up to the title of the faster, harder hitting Nido. For abilities, like I said, it needs to be something that competes with the Sheer/orb combo so we need to be just a bit crazy. Something akin to Moxie, Hustle, or even Adaptability would do very nicely, again nothing lame like Intimidate or Solid Rock, King is pure offense, nothing else. Another idea I had was to pump up special attack while completely ignoring attack and finally giving it Huge power which would truly make it a monstrous mixed attacker if only a little on the strong side.
  8. Awh, thanks guys! As some of you have said I don't talk to you all but trust me, I see you guys all over on the server and you always add to the fun! I hope you all have as a great a day as I've been having!
  9. Medicham has an amazing and I mean amazing natural movepool and as you know with pure power it hits very, very hard. It's available earlier on and it's final form hold less tedium to get so I would say to definitely try using it. Gallade is by no means bad of course, it gets interesting moves like leaf blade and holds respectable, if oddly distributed stats and as you mentioned the means of obtaining Ralts is rather touching. All in all I would personally say they sit on pretty even ground in game, I'm pretty confident Medicham can take more advantage of field effects and has pure power to make it a powerhouse so it leans just a bit more in my favor (Oh and it's shiny is actually really nice compared to Gallade). Best of luck and remember, a rotation would never hurt, even if you like having only one "true" team!
  10. Today ladies and gentlemen we will be looking at Phione, quite possibly one of the most unfortunate and mistreated pokemon ever to be created. Even though the whole even stat distribution thing is kind of chained onto it I would probably give it +10 SpA, the move hurricane (It likes warm water, which is where hurricanes form), and the ability wonder skin to go with the wonder egg. I would honestly give it more but hopefully if it ever got these three boosts it could rise above...PU OTL
  11. I cannot fully recall what my first Pokemon game was...it was either Ruby version or Fire Red. Either way Fire Red is definitely my favorite hand held pokemon game of all time! Beating Gary's ass just never gets old.
  12. Orderly John and Solaris bout to inflict all sorts of pain now with the not-ass doubles AI, can't wait to see how it's been improved!
  13. tfw beta testing is at 50% but the # are not halfway full
  14. I would probably just trade Crobat for Noivern to balance out your types and give more move options, team is pretty solid besides that though. As mentioned earlier Ciel has a field day with your team, however the field also boosts stuff like Quiver Dance and Boomburst which should help you out a tad, on the mention of fields though your team does not have a lot of field or weather manipulation to combat other leaders/bosses which may cause you some trouble :c. I tend to stick to one team but a rotation never hurts, I would recommend Magnezone/Mamoswine/Octillery/Metagross as they are all pretty well balanced and strong while offering different types to deal with different leaders. Uhhh...maybe a Draglage as well just because it can tank hits and deal large amounts of damage. Anyways best of luck, your EV spreads seem to imply you have some idea of what you want each mon to do which is fantastic in a game that goes all out on you!
  15. A neutral nature Makuhita is very fine for that point in the game, chances are you'll be breeding it down the line anyway (By the way Hariyama decimates her more annoying team members). I'm not sure if the egg moves are generated individually or in sets...though if I had to choose I would probably go for Misty Terrain over Perish Song as there are other options if you really need it (The opponent will usually switch out anyway). Finally you generally want to be around 1 or 2 levels below the cap, otherwise you might lose very effective team members mid battle as the leaders tend to give boatloads of exp. Best of luck none the less and don't worry, she is not that tough!
  16. I mean Parasect is essentially a zombified bug with lifeless eyes....that spells out creepy to me
  17. Rotom-Wash who is available relatively late into the game combines a fantastic defensive typing with very well rounded stats opening the possibilities of many different roles on a team from fast offense/scarfer to a physical or special tank with status support. It also has different typings accompanied by different coverage moves which allows it to fill out your type chart.
  18. Emboar's main thing is high damaging recoil moves, probably the main reason it has so much hp in the first place. As others have said though you'll probably want sucker punch on it to take on psychic types and patch up it's speed as well as running Hammer arm for a strong stab.
  19. I also use the move deleter if I want to keep egg moves on certain parents while breeding so I don't have to go through the trouble of tutoring them. Eliminate all other moves, drastically lower the chances of it being forgotten
  20. On a side note, the Lucky Egg can also be gotten via pickup if you're insane willing enough to grind that high over the cap.
  21. My personal favorites are probably a tie between the first movie and Temple of the Sea, both I felt actually had solid plot and emotion, plus the first movie just brings so many nostalgia feels.
  22. The real trick to beating Radomus is to overpower him before he can play any card tricks with trick room, If I recall nothing on his team exceeds the speed base of 80 so what you would want is a strong bug type that is not completely reliant on nyoom levels of speed, something like Pinsir or even Heracross could serve you well, another thing to consider though is his Ace who you would specifically want either a strong physical attacker for or a poison type that could out pace her and secure the OHKO, Toxicroak, despite it's typing could serve such a roll thanks to it's good offensive stats, not to mention it's easy access to nasty plot which leads me into my final suggestion. Always know the field effects there are only a small handful of them that are one sided, for example the lackluster strength becomes rock type and gets a damage bonus and nasty plot which I mentioned beforehand functions as a tailglow. I'm sure you'll find a way out of the Radomus's rabbit hole and I wish you luck!
  23. Nice to see a full list for spots to EV train! Personally I just got by using 3 spots, those being the woobat shadows in the railnet, bouffalant in route 1, and the mushrooms and various other blobs of Azurine island and using power items for the other stats since I'd usually include the first 3 anyway. Hopefully this can give me some easier spots to make things quicker in the future so thanks
