  1. I just checked and it seems it just holds Lagging Tail.
  2. There's currently no way to change controls, apologies for that. A couple years ago someone asked and I asked if they could ask Ame how, and Ame did respond, but I haven't gone forward with doing it because of task-specific procrastination. I don't know why, but sometimes there's a specific task that I just can't find the energy or motivation in myself to bring me to do. I don't know what my brain's criteria for it is. Similarly, sometimes I'm too shy to ask a specific question to a specific person, which is why someone else had to ask Ame for me as I'm shy about asking Ame about game development stuff fear of bug reports related to switched controls. I feel like this might've happened with Reborn? but I'm not sure/don't remember the details, I just vaguely feel like there were a couple bug reports that couldn't be solved or weren't universal that were related to peoples' changed control settings, but I could be remembering wrong
  3. I actually didn't know that Burmy was in specific forms in specific locations in Spork. I wasn't really knowledgeable about how Burmy and Wormadam's forms work in general. There's an NPC on the ground floor of Virima Hotel that can change their forms, though: If you want to find a place for Sandy Cloak manually, maybe the sand near the water at Virima City, or Bolaii Coastline, Bolaii Beach, Sand Castle, Weather Wonderland (Sandstorm), Premoggin Softlands, Premoggin Canyon, Dyserean Desert? Those are areas off the top of my head that have a lot of sand.
  4. I haven't touched the Pickup table in Spork (I'm not sure where that data's located in Essentials), so it would be the default Essentials Pickup table, or at least Essentials v16.2, the version Spork uses. I'm not sure from which games that would be though. I apologize that that's as much as I know.
  5. I'm glad you enjoyed the game and hope you enjoy the postgame too! Cool reptile team!
  6. The area that Zoroark was blocking before is your next destination. Based on mentioning of barriers and black background, which don't exist on the map, it seems like the area isn't properly loaded for you on Android.
  7. The flower pots are an optional sidequest in Celium Park. There are three things you need to do for everyone to be ready to go to Celium Park: Defeat the simulations at the Help Section (and talk to Emily after) Get chocolate eclairs for Delicia (talk to Delicia at the Food Section, then talk to the guard in front of the Undersea Volcano in the Help Section, then return to Delicia in the Food Section) Complete the tournament in the Battle Section
  8. You'll still have your save file after updating, since it's stored in a different location in your computer. Also, I moved this from Troubleshooting + Bug Reporting to Topics since it's not about an error or being stuck.
  9. After all the map revamps have been completed, I plan to add a notepad file for a walkthrough of the main story. Currently, I don't believe anyone's made a written walkthrough or guide for it. The closest for now would be watching Youtube playthroughs (many would probably be outdated due to map revamps and other updates, but you're getting close to where the map revamps end in the public release for now), or you could continue to ask here on the forum when you're not sure what to do.
  10. If you get one of the answers incorrect, Couragi will appear and you'll be able to ask Couragi for a hint. Answers below, in spoilers so you can choose whether you want to continue solving them with or without the hints or if you prefer just having the answers:
  11. Yohane's birthday solo MV!
  12. I looked at the event page and everything seemed correct, then I tested by giving myself one of every plate and Arceus joined me, so it should be working. I guess I'd recommend double-checking your inventory to make sure you have them all. I feel like Pixie Plates might be less remembered than the others since they were introduced later.
  13. I've merged this topic with your topic from yesterday about Norall's gym. Please keep in mind what Enigma requested. "If you have any questions going forward, please post them all within the same thread, so there aren’t multiple open threads at once." You're in front of the gym arena now. About not seeing the colors: is it that the tiles don't look like rainbow tiles to you, or you're just not sure which is which, or do you have color blindness? If you have a form of color blindness that makes the rainbow tiles difficult to see, I can try to give Couragi an additional explanation for color blind players in the future. Game.rxdata
  14. Crolea also mentioned that the rocks from the avalanche near the mountain should be cleared by now. If you went here just above the gym before talking to everyone at the Pokemon Research Institute, the path would've been blocked by rocks. Now you'll be able to go to Norall Mountain.
  15. Reuploaded fixing a glitch where using a sound-based move on a Pokemon with Punk Rock caused an error message
  16. Reuploaded fixing a glitch where using a sound-based move on a Pokemon with Punk Rock caused an error message
  17. I'm really glad you're enjoying Spork! I did some tests to replicate the error, and it seems like this happens when using a sound-based move on the Toxtricity. Punk Rock has two effects: increases the power of the user's sound-based moves, and decreases damage taken from opposing sound-based moves. It seems like I scripted the first effect correctly, but not the second one. I'll have to try to either fix this or remove the second effect today. I'll let you know when I've reuploaded fixing this. Sorry for the inconvenience. Edit: I was able to figure out the reason the error happened. The correct way to make a script about sound-based moves (at least in the version of Essentials I'm using, it may have changed in later versions) is "isSoundBased". The part of Punk Rock for increasing the sound-based moves had this correct, but the part for reducing damage from opposing sound-based moves had "pbIsSoundBased" instead. For the second part, when I originally scripted Punk Rock I looked at abilities with similar damage-reduction effects for the second part and changed the last line, which had different capitalization for other scripts and also pb before it. While I tested the first effect of the ability and it worked, it didn't occur to me to test the second part. I made the mistake of thinking that because one part of the ability worked, all of it did. Reuploaded with this fixed.
  18. I'm happy to hear you're enjoying Spork and like the music! Here's the track that plays at Virima City: re Morning Run name: Some of the soundtrack names listed in the Audio folder have no relation to the tracks themselves. With the earlier tracks, after I added them to the Audio folder I would change the name to something that the track made me think of. I think it was around 2018 or just before then that I stopped doing that and kept the original names. None of the soundtracks were made by me or anyone else on team Spork, I look at music online for tracks I think would fit certain areas and battles. Some of them have also been suggestions from other members of the team or users of the site. Enigma has suggested a lot of tracks when revamping the maps. I think uploading the soundtracks is okay! There's another user, Vince&Sylveon, who's done that too. Although it's not complete yet iirc, his playlist does have a lot if there are other tracks you're looking for that are used in the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMrrg4O2G-I&list=PL0084xKiQ9U8ckEvzfic_m7glkPOmiiJE
  19. You have to win the martial arts minigame that happens when interacting with it. In the martial arts minigame, each speech command the opponent uses corresponds to an action, and each command option you're given reacts differently to what the opponent chooses. The following Chimchar quotes mean it's going to defend. Using a precise attack will break through Chimchar's defense. "Chim!" "Char char!" "Chaar!" The following Chimchar quotes mean it's going to use a precise attack. I don't remember which option is best here, but I do know that using a precise attack when the opponent does causes a draw for the round where neither side takes damage. "Chim char!" "Chim?" "Chiiim!" The following Chimchar quotes mean it's going to use a fierce attack. Defending will block these attacks. "Chaaar!" "CHIIIM CHAAAR!" "Chim chim!" The following Chimchar quotes mean it's going to use its special attack. The best option here is to use your special attack too, because there's no way to block or cancel out a special attack. "Chim chim chim!" "Char char char!" "Chim char chim char!"
  20. Reuploaded. All the info below is for Spork; I don't believe I made any changes to DDDL since the last reupload (but still reuploaded DDDL just in case) Updates -custom shiny Sunkern and Sunflora sprites made by Steffi -PC boxes are now available on the pause menu like in SwSh -all player character options now show up at once on the intro scene, so players can see all three at the same time when making a decision. The boy, girl, and non-binary text options for the decision have also been changed to Left, Middle, and Right -added items: Twisted Rock (a Trick Room extending item, thanks to Cervys for the script!), Terrain Extender, and Room Service. These items are sold by the weather rock and seed vendor at the Battle Mall, and a Twisted Rock is now also given by the Hiker at the Fork Gatehouse who gives weather rocks when spoken to -added Poke Balls: Dream Ball and Ceolis Ball (thanks to Steffi for the Ceolis Ball graphics and Dream Ball summary icon!). These Poke Balls can be bought at the Poke Ball floor of the Department Store, and Ceolis Balls are also sold at the Sea Star Society's Pokemart -added abilities Water Bubble and Punk Rock -changed Tomas's Toxtricity's ability to Punk Rock -added notepad file "evomethodsandotherchanges" for mechanics that work differently in Spork than they do in the official games -Mr. Rhyme is now a Mr. Rime (still named Mr. Rhyme) -added text to more objects in Gina's house in the first Dark Dungeon dream -changed the Surf prompt text because "The water is a deep blue" doesn't apply to the Yellow Sea -updated the Nosy Nosepass interview of Chelsea with a couple more puns -removed the red and blue font colors from dialogue of NPCs copied from base Essentials (move relearner, Game Corner employees, daycare couple, name rater) (I kept the red text for the nurses though) -syntax: Bike Shop capitalization Bug Fixes -Stamina now activates/was (possibly re-?)added to the game -When Berserk activates, the text now says Berserk instead of Stamina -the Hiker at the Battle VR now uses the more recent Hiker sprite -the obtainablepokemon notepad file info for Goomy is now accurate -can no longer walk through the books in Gina's room in the first Dark Dungeon dream The shiny Sunkern and Sunflora are based on the tree at the Crown Tundra where the Galarian legendary birds are first seen! We've had this idea since last year. Sunkern was brought up for consideration due to being one of the shinies that looks very close to the regular Pokemon, and when I saw that tree from the trailer I thought of how the shinies would look with those colors, and also really liked the way the tree looks. The Ceolis Ball is like a Premier Ball in that it doesn't have any functional differences from a regular Poke Ball and is purely cosmetic. It's existed in the game's data for a while, as it's the type of Poke Ball Ceolis sends out his Pokemon with in battle, but hasn't been obtainable until now. For the intro scene: I've always wanted to have all player character options available on the screen at once. In a reupload last year I added an "Is this you?" question after selecting a player so that people can go back and see the other options, but now I was able to put all three on the screen at once from looking at the intro scene event page in Pokemon Redemption. The new notepad file lists information on evo methods, forms (like Alolan and Galarian forms being treated as their own species), gender mechanics, ability notes, and a few other details where Spork differs from the official games. A lot of this information is already listed elsewhere, like in other notepad files or in the FAQ, but I thought it'd be helpful to have all of it accessible in one place too. I've noticed how each year from 2019 to now has a different reupload frequency. 2019: after the initial release of ep 8 and the bug-fixing reuploads that followed shortly after, reuploads happened around every month and a half-2 months. 2020: aside from a few bug-fixing reuploads, there were less reuploads, with a few months in between but with a lot of content 2021: so far it's been very chaotic. There's been a mix of major reuploads, reuploads solely for bug-fixing, and reuploads that included a couple additions that were made early due to major bugs being found. It's possible there might be a shift for the second half of 2021, with longer times between reuploads. Looking at upcoming plans, a lot will take a while. Here's what I have planned currently for the future, in no particular order: Smoothie solo songs: each member of Smoothie getting their own individual song. This is probably the one I can do the soonest, since it doesn't require Gen 8 DLC or any other resources I don't currently have. But I would need to do some planning in advance, for the songs (lyrics and choosing the locations) and the start of the quest. Gen 8 DLC + new planet: I've planned out most of the quests for the Gen 8 DLC Pokemon in advance, and I don't think those by themselves would take that long. But I'm also adding a new planet. This new planet will be Isabelle-connected like Wonky Woods and Umira. Although it's not related to any Pokemon quests, I'll still need to wait for the Gen 8 DLC resources to add it, because along with its own atmosphere, it'll also have simulation trainers with teams matching those of every character from the official series. Since Klara and Avery have G-Slowbro and Mustard has Urshifu, that's why I'd need to wait until then. I also plan to go all out with this planet on the zaniness. In addition to the random text and objects already featured in maps like Wonky Woods and Umira and with the simulation trainers, I'd like to up my game here and add more factors. Colorful Reupload: for episode 8 I made skin tone variations of most NPCs. For the colorful reupload, what I'd be doing is making both versions of these NPCs have different colors for the hair, clothes, and/or eyes (with review + assistance from Palletite and Steffi). I actually spent a lot of time between last reupload and this one forming ideas and some designs have already been made, but may not be the final versions. Experimental Reupload: this is where I'll be looking at ideas I've had for a while but haven't fully decided on whether or not I want to do. There's also smaller tasks like attempting to script more moves and items from Gens 7 and 8, and I also have a few more ideas for custom shiny concepts. It should be noted that this just covers upcoming plans from my end. I'm not able to speak for the schedules of the rest of team Spork for example with spriting and map revamps, but I thought it was important to mention possible length between reupload times in the future since my plans might take a while and I know other members of team Spork have ongoing IRL situations. Thank you for your patience and continued enjoyment of Spork!
  21. Reuploaded adding the Punk Rock ability, with Tomas's Toxtricity now having it
  22. She's in the Recreation District, in the park-like area. She'll be near where I'm standing in this screenshot: She appears after the first time you speak to Raymond.
