Do you remember the last things you were doing when you were playing before the error happened?

I get the same error when loading up the save file, and opening in RPG Maker gives a different error message: My first thought is that both error messages mention "updateMap". Did you happen to update from a version with older maps recently?

This started happening a couple years ago, but I haven't been able to figure out what causes it because I haven't noticed anything in common with the save files of people who've gotten it and I didn't understand the error messages enough to figure it out. I also haven't gotten it myself. The detail of it happening in the grass is a good start! Maybe that knowledge will help find the cause and solution. If you send me your save file, I should be able to load up your game and save outside of Aliora Meadow for you to continue. I'm happy Spork is your favorite fangame! The reason the Galar fossils aren't in is because I feel bad for them. But since they don't exist in Spork, that means you can still have 100% dex completion since they're not counted! Also, there's a spoiler box at the top of the post, but when I try to click on it, there's nothing inside. Is there a glitch where the site isn't showing the contents, or was the spoiler box an accident?

Hi! I wasn't confident I could script Dragon Cheer, so Dipplin evolves into Hydrapple with another Syrupy Apple. I realized that I forgot to note this in the notepad file a couple hours after the reupload so it's noted there for next reupload! Bloodmoon Ursaluna is a placeholder for now if you speak to Couragi at Crystal Caverns (you can get to where Couragi is immediately if you enter through Marvelous Marsh). When the next batch of map revamps is completed, Bloodmoon Ursaluna will be obtainable through a sidequest in a new map.

A couple people thought it was part of a puzzle, but it wasn't my intention to require anyone to have to leave and re-enter in order to complete the Gym, I just didn't realize it was something that could happen. For next reupload, I'd like to think of a different effect to replace it with. One of my favorite parts of adding new Pokemon is that it can be an opportunity to add more to areas and characters that I didn't do as much with before. For example, I've wanted to have an event related to the house you get in Serenity Seaside since it was added with the Ocean Coast revamps, and now the Terapagos quest is there! I might still do more with it in the future, like having an event where the player and Emily first go in and explore it, since the Terapagos quest implies the both of you already have. I've already decided what I'm going to focus on for next reupload, but it's not off the table to come back here later in the year! Happy 2024!

Dream from April 20, 2022: all the Reborn staff were staying at Matty's room in a hotel, and at one point Lin was going around the hotel absorbing people. First she would disguise herself as someone else, then approach starting a conversation about how Google paid for her to take a class. Then she would absorb them during the conversation. I sensed this happening with Matty, but it was taking a long time because Matty knew they were talking to Lin in disguise, and they baited her into an argument about Europe. (I think maybe Lin needed people to be in a certain emotional state to absorb them? and Matty was putting themself in a different emotional state to prevent absorption) I planned to leave the hotel, but went through Matty's fridge for a bottle of water first, because I was feeling dehydrated. On my way out of the hotel I planned to message Matty about me leaving, but accidentally messaged someone else who had the same avatar as Matty. Dream from July 1, 2023: Jan's Pokemon Reborn team got overwritten by Ame's, and I spent an hour writing an essay about Jan/Ame's Azumarill. Dream from January 13, 2024: Reborn released a Gen 8 update and the Gen 8 legendaries were obtained by pouring a glass of any kind of milk except whole milk. Also, Ame ordered Enamorus from a delivery website IRL.

You would just need to download it and place it in the game's Data folder, replacing the existing one. If after downloading the file here, Hoopa still thinks it's supposed to be using Happyspace Hole instead of Hyperspace Hole, please let me know and I'll send a new copy of the Data folder as a (hyperspace) whole! moves.dat

Oh, for clarification, fixed for next reupload means that the next reupload will have it fixed. The current upload hasn't been updated, it's just been fixed on my end and that fix will be public the next time I reupload. Sorry for the miscommunication and for the late reply. I've been hyperfocusing on the Pokemon DLC and it seems like that's made me forget to check the site as often. The next reupload will be some time still, but I can upload the individual files here that would fix the move for you! I've already turned my computer off and am going to sleep soon (it's 1 AM for me), so I'll be able to send you the files tomorrow!

I just checked the Legend Dairy map and I think I know what's happening. I didn't take into account that the farmer has a move route here, and it looks like he ends up stuck because the Miltank I placed there last reupload is in his way. I moved the Miltank further to the right. If you place the attached map file in the data folder, are you able to get past this event? Map085.rxdata

For the updates to Isabelle's Gym, I had a thought a few months ago that it's not really a step up from Wonky Woods in terms of wonkiness, and I felt like it should be because it's Isabelle's home base. The main appearance is the same, I just added a few more background details/special effects. The one in the screenshot about being asked to select a nickname is only on your first visit if you haven't yet gotten Isabelle's badge. For the Colorful Reupload sprites, in a reupload in 2021 I mentioned the Colorful Reupload as one of a few future plans: Some of the edits I made were approved, while others will be updated by Palletite and/or Steffi in the future. I added the ones that were approved as they are to this reupload. The third screenshot in this post features the new Gentleman sprites, which is my favorite of the ones I did. The colors of the Gentleman sprites are based on the Sanrio character Tuxedosam! A list of the approved updated NPCs that were added this reupload: Gentleman: as mentioned above, outfit and hair are based on Tuxedosam colors Pokemart clerk: apron is now blue to match the tiles and exterior of Pokemarts Fisherman: fishing vest is now blue for water Swimmer: their hair and swimsuit colors have a branching evolution theme. Thank you for your patience with the time between reuploads! When I update learnsets for older gen Pokemon because of a new gen or DLC, it seems to take more out of me each time. I try to pace myself with limits like one gen a day, and doing levelup learnsets and TMs + tutor moves on different days, but it can be draining even then. It's not that it's difficult, it's just that it's a lot, and not something that's very exciting for me to do. But the fun part of adding DLC content is coming soon! Tomorrow I'm getting to work immediately on adding the Gen 9 DLC Pokemon. Some of them will be located in the next batch of map revamps, which is currently in progress! Got around to this just now and I was wrong about their evolution methods. Instead of Level, they're listed as Ninjask and Shedinja respectively. I might have saw the number 20 and my brain just read Level on autopilot. I looked in the scripts and "Ninjask" and "Shedinja" are defined as evolution methods there. I'm not sure why they aren't working despite that. I'm 100% sure I've never edited their evo methods, as I didn't even know they were defined in the scripts until just now. I'm also pretty sure I've never touched the evolutions script section at all. I changed their evo methods to level 20 for Ninjask and Dusk Stone for Shedinja. This means two Nincada would be needed to get both of them, but Shedinja will at least be obtainable now.

I just tested this and the same happened to me. Looking in pokemon.text, I think it's because Nincada's evolutions are set as: NINJASK,Level,20,SHEDINJA,Level,20 In addition to Shedinja's canon evolution method being a lot more specific than what it's set to here, I'm guessing that because both their methods are the same, the game is choosing Ninjask by default because it's the first one mentioned. I don't know how to script the evolution method for Shedinja since it's very unique and complex, so for the next reupload, I'll just have Nincada evolve into Shedinja through a Dusk Stone. In the meantime, I can give you a Shedinja if you send me your save file.
