Does the weapon triangle work differently in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn? Can't attack a fighter without having a 60% chance to take large amounts of damage using Eddie. While I appreciate the difficulty, it makes giving weaker units experience rather.. tedious. And I know that there's the BE-Experience system, but I'd rather not use it. This might turn out to be even harder than HHM.

Yeah, Zihark is a Navarre through and through. He is an intetesting character and unit, but I tend to prefer training up base class units into their final forms. I've never been much of a fan of pre-premotes. I didn't use Seth in FE8 or even Camilla in Conquest (shocking, I know). I just prefer growth units, like Ests, Lords
barring Sigurd, and Merrics. It basically boils down to playstyle choices.

Fun fact, with the removal of HMs in SuMo, Cut is now Kartana's signature move. That's right, the infamously awful Cut can now be exclusively learned by an Ultra Beast with 181 base attack.

@Swampellow it is still the only Pokemon capable of learning the move in Sun and Moon, making it a signature move.

Someone help me get my head around this: in FE fates there are two special classes you can get by owning all 3 games, the Dreadfighter and the Dark Falcon. The Dark Falcon is Nohrian and the Dread Fighter hoshidan. my problem with this is that the Pegasus Knight class is one from Hoshido. HOW did the Nohrians learn how to ride pegasi?

I really like Nolan in Radiant Dawn. He's the first axe user that I consider fun to use. Other fighters only gave me trouble with low hitrates, which is why I generally don't like axe users in Fire Emblem.. but he's actually quite decent. Might even be one of my favorite characters from the DB.

I always like to use an axe user on my team, especially because often there will be surpluses of lances in mid to late game. Nolan is a very solid unit in Radiant Dawn, but he does suffer from the terrible misfortune being in the experience starved Dawn Brigade. Make sure you sort him into Elincia and Tibarn's army later so he can get lots of good xp from killing off strong foes.
Other axe users I like include Haar, who can almost solo FE10, Lex of FE4, the bulky axe-knight who gets Paragon and a free Brave Axe to defeat most foes with, and of course Hector from FE7.

I'm interested in playing Fire Emblem: Thracia 776, partially to test myself and partially because I'm bored as hell, but there aren't a whole lot of viable options for doing so unless you understand Japanese (a skill I distinctly lack). Any suggestions on what I should do?

Octillery seems like a fun choice. It unfortunately doesn't get a lot of attention since it mostly seen as an inferior Clawitzer or Wishiwashi at this point, but it is pretty neat. I used it on a TR team in PU last gen and it was really fun to just click strong moves with. It has a respectable mixed move pool, all things considered.

I swear, Jakob's Fire Emblem: Heroes art makes him look literally insane. His gaze makes me uncomfortable. Just compare it to his Fates art and boy oh boy is there a difference.

Camus will probably end up in a similar boat to Narcian, where there is a difficult limited event for him.
Also, I probably wouldn't use Jakob in Heroes either, but I ended up pulling a *5 of him today while going for the new Heroes, so I am going to give him a shot. So far tho, ranged characters + Azura is pretty damn hard to beat.

Lissa: I have seen two episodes of an Awakening lp and you were in them, so four for you, healer girl. also the only healer. probably isn't paid enough. 4 stars.
Raigh: my only mage. idk what else about him. 4 stars. i think.
Est: ???? she flies tho. 3 stars.
Est II: ???????? another flier, also three stars. probably a traitor in disguise.
