let's play a little game~
you know the Wolf is my favorite animal and wuold be my spirit animal.
Now here's the question:
What's my favorite Mythical Creature?
-
I am proud to anounce, the OFFICIAL theme song for the Wolfy and Roars Magikarp shop:
-
Mega Houndoom is officially released in Sun and Moon! You can obtain the Houndoomite, along with Heracronite, Steelixite, and Pidgeotite, by simply entering in the code AZUL
Mega Houndoom won't be usable in online battles until Tuesday, May 16th tho.
Serebii does not know when the event will end, but, hey, free mega stones are free mega stones.

Man, I freaking love Psychic-types.
-
Tfw you face a Takumi, Tiki, and Ike on a team in arena. ffffffff
That other feel when you manage to win without losing anybody.
-
Colorless units are the scariest to me atm. Azura can handle the Reds, Lucina the Greens, and Julia the blues, but even Takumi can struggle against colorless foes like Kagero. Particularly frightening is the dancer+Kagero combo. I have a backup calvary team (spearheaded by Reinhardt and Eliwood) in case it ever gets too bad, but for now I like using my Julia team.

I am slowly falling in love with Meloetta-Pirouette. It is a really fun Pokemon to use and heavily underrated.

What happens if Ditto uses Transform on another Ditto?
-
I just so happened to be looking up the specific mechanics of Transform earlier today, funny how that works out. Basically, like Arkhi said, it will fail if used on Ditto or a Pokemon already transformed- with the notable exception of Gen I. In Gen I, if you are in a trainer battle where both you and your opponent only have a Ditto left, the battle will never end because Ditto continually transforms into itself, restoring its PP every time it does so. Since you can't run from trainer battles and Ditto can only learn Transform, you will be forced to soft reset your way out of the battle unless you have an infinity to kill.

Why am I just realizing that Arceus now changes type based on the Z crystal it holds?
-
Hellfire is probably my favourite Disney Villain song.
Frollo is also probably the scariest Disney villain imo.
-
Frollo is hella (haha) scary, particularly because he is an easily recognizable character who exists in our world as well, as in the sanctimonious hypocrites who gain power and then actively betray the values they supposedly uphold. Not to mention that he embodies the idea of entitlement to another's body, which is always a scary subject.
Definitely my favorite Disney villain because he is extraordinarily natural and plain old menacing. Hellfire is probably one of my favorite Disney songs of all time too.

i have ran across an interesting sentence that depending how you punctuate it will show ether you are more man or woman
woman without her man is is nothing
if you are more man this is how you punctuated
Spoilerwoman, without her man, is is nothing.
if you are more woman this is how you would punctuate
Spoilerwoman! without her, man is is nothing.
just thought i would show this interesting thing i found.

Hoothoot uses Thief: Lootloot. Hoothoot uses Stomp: Bootboot.

Well, goodbye Pheromosa. I think you'll still have a role in ubers, although Genesect will probably outclass you in most ways. Still, the Fighting STAB is nice.
-
I didn't say that you should switch your Xern in on the thing, I'm simply stating that it can set-up on Phero and handle it, a task which would be ill advised for say, Genesect.
For reference, 252+ Atk Choice Band Pheromosa Poison Jab vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Xerneas: 312-368 (79.3 - 93.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
Completely uninvested Xern (something that is highly unlikely to see) lives Banded Adamant 252 Phero's Poison Jab unless Xern is poisoned and even then Xern will survive if it was a low roll. Obviously don't switch Xerneas in on Pheromosa, as there are incredibly few Pokemon in existence who can safely do that, but Xerneas is a Pokemon that should always be brought in safely anyways so it can survive the turn it needs to set up a Geomancy.
I will admit, however, that Poison Jab Pheromasa slipped my mind when I wrote my previous post. Your point on scouting out the set before safely switching is still a valid one, but I do feel that it will still be outclassed in Ubers as the vast majority of teams run some form of priority to handle dangerous Pokemon that have already set up or would be normally impossible to outspeed, like Deoxys-S, for instance.

Well the biggest problems for Phero I see are Xerneas, which can set up on it as it resists both stabs, E-Killer Arceus, Giritina, Deoxys-S, and Aegislash, in addition to any other Pokemon running strong STAB priority, like Yveltal or Mega Lucario. Not to even mention the threat speed boosters pose to it as both Blaziken and Scoliopede (the two most common Speed Passers) can handle it fairly well.

Wait what? We're not even half a year into gen 7 and the last event Pokemon is already coming? It'll be interesting to see where things go from here.
-
I mean, it isn't that far fetched. The time from XY to ORAS was a year and even from ORAS to SuMo, that was only two years there. Suffice to say, there will be another main series game in either 2017 or 2018, although if it is to be released this year we will likely see the first teasers in a month or two. Maybe a Switch side game will come out in the mean time.

There could be event Z-crystals later on (as in either after a major update or after the next game releases), they still have old mega stones to slowly give out
rip both Mega Ralts, there's a few more HA Pokemon to be released, such as the starters, oh, and a few other little things like Custap Berry.

am I a weird man for loving how my hands feel after I use hand cream? nice and soft and smooth... so good...

Someone talk me out of this idea or tell me why it would be a bad idea: ytaining a Magic male unit in FE fates, to use as a levin sword lodestar. all I gotta do it find a gen 2 male that is amazing with magic and would be usefull as Lodestar groths wise
-
well yeah, but Lodestar is just kinda a poor magical class, so it might not live up to expectations and another sword wielding class would likely work better. Lodestar is also very similar to a dodge tank, so once again, another class might function a little better there. granted, these are children units, so given enough seals and investment, they can basically do anything. just my two cents on the matter.

Why Lodestar? Their Magic cap (26) is a lower than even some other sword using classes. Swordmaster/Hoshido Noble cap at 28, and Dark Knight/Nohr Noble at 31. While the noble classes are a little tricky to get many of units into because their parent must have married Corrin, Swordmaster and Dark Knight should be easily obtainable goals for most through Partner and Friendship Seals.

I wish to pin this on the wall behind my computer. Now I only need a printer. (Potential spoilers for Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn)

Why does Showdown even include the option to check the Unrated Random Battles ladder?

I just realized that in E17, Innards Out Pyukumuku will be able to defeat Garchomp and Dittoceus.
-
Hmm. What is the average level that someone's Pokemon is by the time they face Garchomp? like, 35-40? because a 0 IV, non-invested Garchomp at level 75 has almost twice the HP of a 31 IV, 252 HP EV Pyukumuku at level 40.
So in summary, two, maybe three Pyukumukus can pull it off. Pretty similar deal with Arceus, although 2 Pyukumukus have a higher chance of pulling that one off.

Am I the only person that gets slightly bothered when seeing useless green units in Fire Emblem? Having allied units is an awesome concept, but I think the only instance where I actually appreciated having them was in PoR and in RD since you could command them and they actually had decent stats.
FE 7? Ostian Knights? Pfft, can't even survive a turn.
-
Ally units that are recruitable characters or guard requirements are just the worst. FE6 has several instances of that
two in the same chapter, even. FE4's annoying requirement that all of Lachesis' Paladins survive to obtain the Knight Ring is so bothersome if you want to actually use the chapter to train her that I just let them die every time.FE9/10 handles allied units really well, I feel. They had competent stats, you wouldn't get harshly punished if you lost a few (like say, lose a couple incredibly valuable promotional items
looking at you, Hero of the Western Isles/Caught in the Middle), and their efforts would reward you with valuable BEXP to increase your units with, so it's not like you need to worry about kill stealing.

Sigh, I wish Bulletproof blocked things like Fire Blast, Ice Beam, and Flash Cannon.
