  1. I certainly wouldn't mind being on a PM list. And I appreciate the assurance Angelica'll be safe. If it comes to it, I'm sure I can go all Radiant Dawn and bash some thieves over the head with a staff.
  2. "You little-" Angelica growled, jerking backwards and trying to push Durin so he was in between her in the thieves. Unfortunately, she misjudged how heavy his armour was, so while she was left unscathed from the theif's knife, she had managed to break her wrist attempting to push Durin, and with no visible movement on his part. "I swear to God if I had a weapon!" She barked at the thieves while clutching her hand in pain; she hadn't yet gotten the hang of using her staff on herself so just had to endure the pain, and despite the huge pool of rage within her, she was still about as frail as your average priestess. She did, however, quickly direct this rage at the friendly knight, too. "What are you waiting for? Kill them!"
  3. "Oh joy, JUST what I need right now." Angelica grumbled quietly to herself, holding her staff out in front of her, she quickly smiled at the thieves before speaking audibly. "But of course, you poor fellows obviously need it much more than I do." All the while, her eyes were scanning the two as fast as they could, trying to gauge whether hitting one of them with the staff would work out or not, or whether the armoured man would be able to defeat them.
  4. Thanks Commander. I tried to write it as if she was very tempted to kill the gatekeepers or burn the academy but figured it was a terrible idea so she didn't go through it, as opposed to anything else, but I apologise if that wasn't all that clear. As far knowing characters in the past, as long as you guys are happy with it, I will have her have at least spotted Komorrin at the academy, so she'll probably be far from fond of him. With Kelsey, I'll probably have them have never interacted, although they may have seen eachother once or twice, and if they'd overheard conversations, Kelsey's personality would've likely rubbed Angelica the wrong way. Anyway, glad it's not too bad, I'm hardly an experienced writer or roleplayer.
  5. Okay, having read through the other topic, I think I'm ready to sign up. I hope this is good enough, haha. Name: Angelica Arcadia Age: 19 Class: Priest Appearance: Long, straight, silvery-white hair, with grey eyes and pale skin. She's about 5'3", and is wearing a rather tatty and worn off-white ballgown, which, from the intricate lace outlines and craftsmanship was obviously expensive, although by this point, it appeared like it belonged more on a beggar than a noble. Backstory: Genius. Prodigy. Special. All words Angelica had been bombarded with from a young age. Rich. Wealthy. Noble. All words people had used to talk of her family, she had always believed that was her. A genius young noblewoman. It was as she grew older and experienced more of the world outside her village that she became disillusioned with this. As it turned out, the smartest person in the wealthiest farming family in some backwater village wasn't that wealthy in the scheme of things, or that smart. But that was okay, after all, you could get smarter and wealthier. So Angelica left her village with dreams of becoming a great mage. But when she reached the academy, they had just laughed at her. "You, a mage?" They had asked. "There's barely enough magic in you to become some third rate priestess, and you have enough rage to be a bloody berserker. Go home." She was not one to give up easily, or to forgive something like that, but while she was far from the genius she had been brought up to believe she was, she was smart enough to know burning the academy down was a terrible idea, as was killing it's snooty gatekeepers. So she heeded their words and went home, only to find a haven for bandits, which she very quickly fled from, all remnants of her life before this point had burned. So she tried to find a village to settle in, and eventually found a place in it's church, begrudgingly training as a priest, although her sites still set on the goal of magic. (Misfortune, however, appeared to follow Ms. Arcadia wherever she went, as not even a week after she had learnt how to use a healing stave, the Onishian army attacked her new village, and so now she hid, hoping that infuriating Kelsey girl and the army she had joined would come to the rescue.) Additional Details: I put in brackets a part of the backstory which would work to help her be integrated into the story pretty much immediately, although it can go without, at Commander's discretion. If that bit is a given, she would have met Kelsey at least once, and she may have met Komorrin in her very brief stint at the academy. She's a rather angry and rageful girl, not at all happy with her seeming inability to us magical tomes, although apart from the occasional harsh word or two, she tends to act cheerfully. Favorite Fire Emblem Game: It's a toss up between Geneaolgy & Awakening, I'd say.
  6. Diggersby & Exploud are also two pretty good early option, the former because Huge Power STAB Earthquake is a powerful thing indeed, and the latter if for nought else than soundproof trivialising Taka whenever he rears his head.

    Surnames

Maybe I just missed them, but you appear to be missing Titania & Hardy.
  8. Maybe it just feels appropriate now because 'tis the season and all, but with the shape of Darkrai's head, part of me feels like a Santa Darkrai would be a good idea for it's shiny form.
  9. So I went and saw a Stand Up Mathematician last night. I feel like I had the only appropriate response after the show: I got him to sign my calculator.

  10. So, I just got full marks on a module my maths teacher has never given full marks on in the 6 years he's done the module. So that's pretty cool.

Man, I could've said that. Oppurtunity missed.

  11. Sure, I'll do this! Name: Marcello Age: 18 Birthday: October 1st Location: London Height: 5'7" last I checked I believe. Which is better than the 5' most of my family reach. Hair Color: Light Brown Eye Color: Hazel Live With: Parents Pets?: Two adorable (and not very bright) cats. Relationships?: Nothing for the last few years, and nothing before that which wasn't a complete trainwreck. Crushes lately?: A cute girl who I don't speak to as much as I'd like. Dream Job: I used to wanna teach, but now I just wanna be a mathematician, plain and simple. Currently Playing: AS, SMT: IV, Skyrim, Icewind Dale, Lightning Returns Favourite Food: Despite Italian roots, I love nothing more than Swedish Meatballs Favourite Drink: I'm the boring guy that really likes water. Favourite Color: Grey Favourite kind of Music: I'm really not that good at looking at music in terms of genres. I just listen to what I like the sound of. Favourite Band: Probably 'Panic! at the disco'. Favourite Album: Either 'A Fever You Can't Sweat Out', or 'Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!', both by the above. Favourite Game: Probably SMT: IV Favourite Genre of Game: RPGs? Maybe JRPGs specifically? I'm not too sure. Favourite Hobbies: I love to play video games, I do maths for fun (and compete in a fair number of local competitions) as well as doing public speaking (which I have competed in a handful of national competitions) Favourite Movies: I think the last movie I actually went out to see was the first Thor movie... That was pretty awesome. Favourite Shows: About the only things I watch, I watch pretty religiously. Namely Doctor Who, Criminal Minds, & Masterchef [Pretty much every national variant and spinoff, although I really like the Australian format].

  13. Hey, I know I just have to set it on my profile if I wanna join a particular alliance (Liking the types on this one, hence why I've headed over here) but is there anything specific I need to do after joining, or...? I'm not quite sure how things end up working once I'm in an alliance, sorry if this is a stupid question or anything.
  14. Alright, so I know a lot of Reborn's soundtrack comes from GlitchxCity. And I was just listening to her two most recently released songs, the remixes of Meteor Falls & R/S Victory Road, and all I could think [Other than that they were awesome] was 'How can/will these be used in Reborn?' I mean, the Meteor Falls sounds like it could be a really nice atmospheric theme, but the Victory Road is so different and intense, it could go nearly anywhere. I could see it fitting as another Legendary Battle theme, as some intense are music, as just about anything. Indeed, I wonder if anyone else has any thoughts, and also it would interest me to know if Ame hears these and almost instantly knows where she wants them to go, or if it's very different. But yeah, this is mostly for speculation and that.
  15. Haha, they certainly don't have any intention of easing the difficulty in. I've played most games in the series before this, so I sort of have the hang of dealing with that and with the haggling. Although even now an enemy gets a critical hit at the wrong time and I'm off to Charon. With the negotiating, I've found it getting easier with time, so maybe it's based on. A stat OR I've just found a routine that works.
  16. Alright, so being English, we just got the game yesterday, which I've been waiting for since it was announced. My worry was with all I've been hyping it up to be for the last year or so, it would fall flat on it's face. I have never been so wrong. I didn't get all too much sleep yesterday, because I had far more important Samurai things to do. I basically just wanted to make a topic about how much I'm loving the game and see if there are any more among the Reborn Community playing/have played this awesome game!
  17. Honestly, I was fine assuming most random trainers did have appropriate badge numbers. Just because I could assume that. I mean, I'm fine with accepting it as gameplay/story segregation, of course. I'm well aware that's a thing. It's just the fact that because I only found one case I considered unexplainable, I felt there may well be an explanation I'd missed.
  18. Now, this may well have been addressed by an NPC that I missed the conversation with or somesuch, but as I was thinking about my playthrough and starting a second one, something sprung to mind and it's now been bugging me. Namely, I mostly wanna know if there's just something I've missed in regards to this, or it's just an unexplained thing, because it's really been on my mind for a day or two, now. Thanks for anyone that has answers to this, if it's explained, or if it's just an unimportant thing, or if perhaps it's a hint at things to come.
  19. Hey, just got Episode 13, and am about to take on Was just wondering about something I saw in the Changelog, namely: * EV and HP-type control has been added for trainers Does anyone know what this entails/where this is? Many thanks in advance, and sorry if it's really obvious and I've missed it/just not gotten there yet.
  20. Well, as long as you work hard and keep your mind to it, you should be able to do it. And it looks like you're going in with high levels, so good luck!
  21. Thanks everyone! I've taken a look at Pokenations and it does seem interesting, but I'm well aware I'm not a particularly good player, but if you say skill level doesn't matter, I'll certainly consider it! (Although just going back to school, I have no idea how much free time I'm gonna have yet, so I don't wanna hastily sign up and then realise I need to drop out.) Anyway, thanks again for all of your introductions and help!
  22. Hi, I've made a few posts and topics, but never really considered introducing myself (I tend to be the lurk-y sort), but I've really enjoyed Reborn, you seem like a great bunch of people, so I figured the least I could do is introduce myself! So, I'm Marcel and... well I don't really know what else to say, I'm bad at introductions. Glad to be here, though!
  23. Yeeah, I've just started Year 13, and what Dobby said pretty much covers it. I got mostly A's & A*'s in my GCSEs, and the idea is if you want those sorta grade, you do need to work hard, but if you're happy with doing well or okay as opposed to exceptional, it's not all that difficult. Best of luck with the coming year.
