      its an unwritten rule but usually applied. you dont really break the rules of a nuzlocke by not nicknaming, though.

       

      also, you got a mudkip. get it to swampert and your locke is a success.

    Certainly. At the same time I'd argue that giving a pokemon a mega, just because they happen to be paired with a pokemon that already received one, is an attempt to cover up your mistakes. See M-Gallade, a mega I personally like. It got a nice design and pretty balanced improvements stat-wise, yet the ability is seemingly useless. Given most megas's boosts (and ultimately their uniqueness) stems from their abilities, you'd expect from Gallade to receive similar treatment to Gardevoir who boasts a boosted STAB Hyper Voice, which bypasses substitute, and hits both opponents in doubles. Sure, M-Gardevoir got a +20 in attack, but that's an obvious balancing tactic. Do you think Gardevoir was the only one that got useless boosts? 1) -10 in Spe for Heracross and Garchomp 2) +10 Atk for Alakazam, +20 Atk for Charizard Y, Blastoise, Camerupt and Ampharos, 3) +10 SpA for Pinsir, Aerodactyl, Scizor, Banette, Metagross and Swampert, +20 SpA for Charizard X, Kangaskhan and Medicham note: I'm excluding pokemon that can function as special, physical or mixed attackers (eg Sceptile) 2 pokemon received decreases in vital stats 7 pokemon received small increases in useless stats 7 pokemon received big increases in useless stats 16 pokemon share the same fate as Gardevoir, but for some reason they apparently don't matter, and we're targeting Fairies specifically.

Also @Thundermaze it is not hypocritical to claim one pokemon deserves a mega and another doesn't. If your argumentation is about pairs of pokemon that should receive equal treatment, I'd have to point you towards Beedrill-Butterfree, Pidgeot-Raticate, Gyarados-Milotic and Altaria-Flygon, all exampes at the top of my head. Since I am the one who made the actual list in this thread I have an obligation to respond to your attack. @Dragoknight are you copying my Oshawott shield? Do you think it will worK? It would, but I have to make a point.     @walpurgis Sailboat does not need to die. Govt can kill Sosobean and revive Corso the same way. We just need a gun to shoot Corso if he gets revived. How is everyone voting themselves going to help? We just lynch Sailboat this way. @Alaris A doctor who can time travel has already done their action. Being jailed in the present won't affect them in any way. The doctor saves in N0, even if they chose to do so in N1 and travel back. Being killed in N0 does not mean he can't save in N0. Newt has confirmed that.
