    I love pokemon, but sometimes the learn set of mons don't make any fucking sense. my favorite example , even worse than Entei not learning EQ imo, Is Infernape. I would say that ape knows how to punch stuff, right? Then why doesn;t it get Drain Punch?

      maybe thats exactly the thing. in generation V, drain punch did get the power boost, and infernape received iron fist. maybe gamefreak was afraid they would break infernape? I honestly dont know. they usually dont really take balancing into consideration so I doubt it tbh.

      Actually, they do. Or we'd never had Fairies or Dark or Steel.

      They do mistakes, yes. They make OP shit just for the sake of gaining popularity. But they have made an overall balanced game.

      little off topic, but can I just say that the punching moves nape does get are actually pretty useful on it? Mach punch is dug, fire punch is duh, Thunder Punch is Duh, focus punch... no1 uses it
