    I think I have a theory about why genwunners see gen 5 as taboo (which is BS IMO, since the gen is great). it is the only generation to introduce MORE pokeman than gen one.

     

    So remember kids, gen 5 may be hated among genwunners, those "fans" tend to be wrong at all times

      Unova was a great region though, thoroughly enjoyed BW and B2W2. Gen 6 was the gen that deserves to be hated on, not gen 5...

      gen six doesn;t deserve the hate directly IMO, but it would be the one to deserve it more

      The only three things good about gen 6 were the graphics, storylines and the fairy type. X and Y had many easily forgettable characters and the difficulty was ridiculously easy. At least they fixed this in Sun and Moon. In terms of ORAS, it was nice to go back to Hoenn but the remakes did not give the original games any justice.
