  1. Corey has fallen, both in battle and off a bridge. I will post the next part of my story/run thing tomorrow, as I'm too tired to write it up now.

  2. How do I reload a game from a previous save state? Screwed up something with the police officers in Beryl and can now not beat Corey. Stupid field.

      Good luck against Shade, Generalguy.

Yeah, Shade and Luna are going to be absurdly hard, but at least Ghost is weak to Ghost, and I'll have Medicham and possibly Gardevoir for Luna.

  3. When does the Drifloon event occur? After beating Corey, right?

The foxes were on Showdown, for a tourney, which Yako ruined...

Did that guy resiously use Shadow Ball against a Normal mono? Also, I can't help but notice that, by sending out Jellicent first and Gengar second, he could have avoided having his entire team devastated...

Let's just say early ladder doesn't have many good players...

  6. Looking at what's available in-game now, Steelix? Bronzong? Mawile? Aggron? Probopass? Klinklang? Escavalier? Durant? Bastiodon? Those are all the ones available. No idea which are above UU, but Durant with Huslte ability, Hone Claws, Iron Head, Superpower, and X-Scissor can be a pretty speedy physical attacker, something most Steel types can't do due to little speed.
  7. If I don't get Phantump from the Mystery Egg, will someone trade it to me for whatever I get in it?

      Don't have Phantump, sorry.

  8. Log 8: Le Jasp! The Jasper Ward was in significantly worse shape than the Obsidia Ward. Where there were plants and cracks just starting to form there, here there were vines wrapping around buildings, giant trees sprouting in the middle of the streets, and entire buildings decimated. It was definitely the work of Team Meteor. If there had been any doubt in my mind, it was dispelled as I saw and battled a Meteor grunt in the area. The first thing seen in the ward, other than the untold destruction, was the Reborn City Police Department. Although they proved useless in the previous incident, I thought they would have at least some kind of information, or at the very least could tell me when this attack began. Only the Police Chief and a single Growlithe were inside. He said that there were five missing police officers, all lost after being sent out into the Jasper and Beryl Wards. As I needed to go through there anyway, I agreed to let him know if I found them, either dead or alive. I sincerely hope I can find them before it's too late. A jungle lay before me within the Jasper Ward. It had apparently been a normal park before this meteor strike. But now, vines and more trees were sprouting everywhere. There were also a lot of rocks, likely debris from the destroyed buildings, strewn throughout. Again, more Meteor goons were lining the paths, so we battled them. Unfortunately, none of them had any new information. I did find something of interest in a building outside of the jungle though. A police officer was trapped by a Meteor grunt inside a building. After beating him, the officer thanked me and said he was heading back to the station. This really only confirmed my belief that the police here are utterly useless. Seriously, unable to take down a single low-level grunt? I mean, I wouldn't wish any harm on the police officers, but that's just really sad. There was also another building that was still structurally sound. A woman shouted at me as I walked past towards the jungle. She was trapped on an upper floor, but the plants had destroyed the stairs and knocked out the power. I told her to remain calm and promised that if I found a way to get her down or restore the power, I'd come back for her. It's what a gentleman does. Back in the jungle, there was another PULSE machine, again with a Tangrowth inside. This time though, it was not ZEL who met me, but someone named Taka. He said that the machine amplifies the Pokemon's power and changes them, but if one is left in one too long, it can seriously harm the Pokemon. He expressed his desire to turn off the machine and to release the Tangrowth, but said he was unable to as he was part of Team Meteor. So he challenged me to a battle. His Lileep and Chatot proved bigger threats than the Tangrowth, but we were still able to handle them quite efficiently. Tangrowth reverted back to its unmutated form and quickly fled to avoid being imprisoned again. Taka seemed grateful that I was able to free the Tangrowth though. He seemed very passive throughout our confrontation, if you can even call it that. It was almost as if he wanted me to defeat him and stop Meteor's activities. His last words before retreated echoed Florinia, saying there was another PULSE in the Beryl Ward beyond here. It appears that truly is my next stop, provided nothing else stands in my way. As I was leaving the jungle, a young girl, no older than 10 or so, came by. She claimed that she sneaked away from her overbearing father to stop the "bad guys" as she called the Meteors. I explained that I had already taken care of them in the area, and she yelled at me, saying that she wanted to be the one to stop them and warning me to stay away from the Beryl Ward until she took care of it. *sigh* Everyone wants to be a hero. I have no intention of letting her get hurt, so I let her know I will be heading there, regardless of what she says. She then said some things that no 10 year-old should know and that I'm not willing to repeat here, and took off on a Salamence. A rude 10 year-old has a Salamence. I know Psychic and Ghost types are the most intelligent, and therefore the only ones I will be training here, but I can't help but be a little jealous. And to end things on a more positive note, I went back to the building where the woman was trapped. Now that the vines weren't entangling anything, I had Shimmer use Charge Beam to power up the elevator enough so I could get to her floor and get her out. She thanked me for the rescue by giving me a sticker to access a new floor of the Department Store in Obsidia. Fortunately for her, she had a friend who was willing to give her housing outside of the ward until the area gets repaired. I told her I was glad to help and went to the Pokemon Center for a brief respite. The next challenge will be the Beryl Ward's Tangrowth, and possibly whoever the gym leader is there. Haven't uploaded in a while, wanted to get another part done. Chatot tho... Anyway, will try to do the final Tangrowth and Corey sometime tomorrow, Friday, or Saturday, depending on when I have time. I'm not going to save all the Police Officers until after I beat Corey, as I did that on my main run and want to see how the story progresses with that. I know I get an easier fight against Corey since Corrosive Mist field won't be in play.
  9. Meanwhile, I'm just wishing for R.O.B.'s Up Throw to be as good as it was, even though Ness's Back Throw still kills at 100 across the stage.
  10. Can we please call any attacks by Team Meteor "Meteor Strikes" from now on?

  11. Ekko, Yasuo, and Fizz are amazing carries. The latter two seem to get fed just by existing. Anyone have any tips for Draven? He so much fun to play as, but so hard.
  12. If you want a fun and stupidly easy champ for top, I recommend Garen. He's really straightforward. If you want everyone to hate you in top, Teemo.
  13. Loudred/Exploud proved surprisingly deadly for me early game, and I never used them in Hoen. STAB Uproar did an absurd amount of damage, and they actually have pretty high special attack.
  14. It's true though. I kind of suck as Tristana and most ADCs, but I'm rank 5 as her.
  15. I'm pretty sure mastery rank means nothing and it's only an indication of how much you play the character. I've got multiple rank 5 characters, but they're just the characters I like playing. Doesn't mean I'm good with them.
  16. Thanks for the explanation. Was just a random thought since it boosts a lot of stuff, just not boosted enough.
  17. Event Pokemon can now have egg moves, correct? If so, I may just need to keep resetting when I get to Drifloon so that it has DB.

  18. He has a Sly Cooper skin. That alone makes him godly. Random thought about an item on him (and possibly Tristana), has anyone experimented with the Triforce? It increases attack speed and damage, both of which are very good for Twitch, some extra ability power and mana, which would be kind of useful for me as I tend to be a little loose with his W and E (which partially scales off AP), and an increase in speed and health, both of which are pretty necessary for this squishy rat. Just a random thought that may not be too useful due to its high cost.
  19. Been quite some time since I played a game where the opponents surrendered.
  20. What does the Clam nature do? Increase defense?
