  1. If I was a trainer... I wouldn't be a trainer... I would just happily jumping, playing around and cuddling my 6 furballs known as Eevee I don't want them to get hurt :,( they are cute, cuddly and fluffy! all they need are cuddles and snuggles! but for my Reborn team: Blaziken: Ok... new Badge, new level cap... who wanna bet that I'm the first to reach it... ... again? Everyone: Of course you are! you are his OP starter! Glaceon: Well I'll be second then... I'm his all time favorite Pokemon! Swampert: He knows me better than you! You are here for how long? - Post-Episode! Noivern: Look who's talking! Magnezone, Gardevoir and myself are way longer with him than you, stupid... what the hell are you anyways?? Magnezone: ... ... ... (I'm just a giant floating piece of metal with eyes...) ... ... ...*it technically doesn't have a mouth* Gardevoir: ... Calm down guys... it doesn't matter who is first... he is good to all of us... Blaziken: ... Says the only female on the team... how about instead having fun times with him, we have fun times together *wink* Gardevoir: How dare you! *Psychic* ... ... whooopsie... *Blaziken fainted* Me: Ugh... Route 1 Tauros riding again... Go Blaziken, attack that Bouffalant! ... ... What the... oh no not again...
  2. For Escavalier: X-Scissors (level 44) Iron Head (level 37) Swords Dance (level 52) --- 50 was the level-cap right? but you can always use common candies to bring it back down Reversal (Level 49) / Iron Defence (Level 40) Theese are just Level-Up moves. since I don't know what TMs you got and how breeding Escavalier works (never did and since Karrablast normally needs a Shelmet trade to evolve... is a Linkstone enough??) X-Scissors and Iron-Head for STAB against Girafarig(X-Scissors) and Clefable (Iron Head) Swords Dance to hit harder obviously Reversal as a fighting move for coverage against his normal types or Iron Defence to strengthen his bulkiness... be carefull of Staraptors Close Combat though... it technically one hitted my Aggron after 3 Iron Defence ( which equals maximum defence)... but it survived only because of sturdy If possible give it a Quick Claw so it may outspeed something because it is slow as hell and maybe give your other Pokemon items to hold aswell... as I see half your team doesn't carry items Edit: wow... there I am talking, like 5 minutes, to my roommate while typing... and bam! so many comments... -.-
  3. One Piece: The goal is the journey itself -> at one point they meet a old crewmember of the legendary pirate... the question if that legendary treasure exists is interupted with the explanation: "If I knew if it exists and where it is - I would stop being a pirate here and now! There would be no fun in adventuring anymore! I want to find out for myself!" (or something similar...) Your friends are the greatest treasure -> Rule #1 of One Piece: "NEVER... NEVER piss Luffy off!! He will wreck you!" and how do you piss him off easily -> insult and/or hurt his friends/crew. No matter what. Protect your friends, because they are with you the whole time and that legendary treasure might not even exist at all
  4. There is one Pokemon I DON'T want to get a Mega-Evolution -> Pikachu! This little stupid rodent gets so much special stuff it doesn't even deserve (like those costumes in ORAS)... "favorite of many" - yeah right Nintendo... it's just your stupid Pokemon-mascot! I know no one (personally) who actually likes this stupid rat! (I would be fine with Raichu... but not Pikachu!) Who should get a Mega-Evolution? - first every Pokemon who doesn't have a regular evolution! (Mega-Pachirisu, Mega-Plusle and Minun, Mega Farfetchd etc.) there are too many to list individually... - Mega Eeveelutions! - we have Garchomp, Salamance, Tyranitar, Metagross... sooo we still need Mega-Draonite, Mega-Hydreigon and Mega-Goodra! Mega-Dragonite -> Dragon/Flying -> Ability: Filter or Pure Power/Huge Power Mega-Hydreigon -> Dragon/Dark -> either keep Levitate or replace it with Moxie or Pressure Mega-Goodra -> Dragon/Fairy (because it's cute and cuddly) or Dragon/Poison (because it's slimy and stuff...) Ability: improved Gooey (-2 Speed instead of -1) or a "Sticky Web"-ability (-1 speed for all enemy pokemon that are switched in) - Mega-Starters that are missing (Typhlosion, Feraligatr, Meganium / Torterra, Infernape, Empoleon / Serperior, Emboar, Samurott / Chesnaught, Delphox, Greninja)
  5. So it is: 00 - Mr.Bigglesworth 01 - ?? ---\ 02 - ?? ----> one of those 3 is most likely Earthquake related 03 - ?? ---/ 04 - Muk 05 - Tangrowth 06 - Camerupt (most liekely) 07 - Abra 08 - ?? (Agate City - PULSE) * 09 - Mr.Mime or Ametrine Ice blockade (if it is PULSE-related) * 10 - Clawitzer 11 - Mr.Mime or Ametrine Ice blockade (if it is PULSE-related) * 8 and 9 might even be switched
  6. Ame - Not Champion... She's our 'Professor' and Leader of the Reborn Rebuilding Commitee (or what it was called), and most likely acts as a mayor and highest ranking Police Officer (recalling the first scen of the game where she went to interrogate a Meteor Grunt...) and kind of administrator of the Reborn-League (Charlotte said something like "Ame must have made a mistake, let's go and talk to her.") Fern - Wasn't he supposed to be Flobots replacement, if she was retired? (I think he mentioned something that he was better than his sister and therefore he should be leader and that'S why he started his journey to proof it by becoming champion?) speaking of which... what happened to Flobot and Julia? - What will Flobot say to Fern that he joined Team Meteor? Meteor Admins ZEL / Taka - highly unlikely... if they were the champions why should they take orders from Solaris/Sirius/Lin? Lin - former Champion ... out for Revenge of being defeated??? Anna - Noel wanted to reveal Anna's position but was silenced... she could be an Elite 4 or even Champion OR just the substitute Psychic-Leader (maybe Radomus get's killed, invalidating his badge and we have to battle Anna for it to be validated again...) Now for the really interesting part... Let us assume the following: - El is Elite 4 (as he said he has connections for Bennet...) - El is tied with Meteor - Laura was fired because of El making room for Bennet -- Laura might not be mentally strong enough to protest against this - as we see her crying and all with Charlotte after she got fired (why this is important later...) - Bennet is under El control and therefore under Meteors control --- 2 out 4 Meteors - Blake is Elite 4 (Ex-Leader) and under Meteors command --- 3 out 4 Meteors - Anna as 4th Member, who was then put into the Orphanage after her parents died from something Team Meteor did -- Meteor wanted her out of the way and ordered Sigmund to accidentally kill her during one of his treatments -- Anna is mentally way stronger than Laura (as a Psychic-Trainer) and may be able to read minds, that's why Meteor wanted her out of the way because of their plans, and cannot fired from her postion as easy as Laura. The Ultimate Question - WHO is the Champion? - The Champion gives administrative orders to League-Administrator (Ingame-)Ame (e.g. to fire a member like Laura) - Ingame-Ame might not know the TRUE-identity of the Champion - The Champion must be connected to El, in regards of listening to him and fire Laura to replace her with Bennet - Therefore the Champion is SOMEHOW connected to Meteor ... maybe just through El - Lin is NOT the Champion, we know that! - Solaris is most likely not the Champion... otherwise he would give Lin the orders and not the other way around (why would Lin lose to Solaris in a Champion-battle and then still order him around) The moment Lin dies it's most likely over for Team Meteor... that way the Meteor thrat is out of the world... but one Threat remains! El and his Arceus-Cult around the Citre Arc D'astrea(?)! And if we look at the line-up stated above... 3 out of 5 Members seem to be connected: El himself, Bennet and the Champion! Now... we know El has a Level 100 Ditto that Transforms into Arceus... WHY can this Ditto transform into Arceus? a Ditto needs to see something to transform into it - There must be an Arceus around! The Champion is Arceus! - who poses as a 'normal' person to not be discovers and has Pokemon to fight under his control like Mewtwo in the first Pokemon-Movie! But Arceus is weakened, not imprisoned in the citre arc d'Astrea and El, as an Elite 4 discoverd it! Both (El and Arceus) use the Ditto to act like a normal Person in terms of being the Champion, and Arceus uses El to give orders in form of writing etc. That is why El wants to get the 4 Gems to give Arceus his power back! That is why he joined forces with Team Meteor -> to get the Gems! That is why he wants to get rid of non Meteor/Arceus-cultist Elite 4 Members, they could discover his secret!
  7. It may be that Shade appears with his Gengar to fight Team Meteor (a specific Meteor member to be precise) in the future. Gengar, which is named after that one deceased person, may force Shade to take him to some action. There is something foreshadowing when you abuse the "Ice-Cross-Glitch" (or whatever we want to name it) and get an item from that persons Pokemon, and return to that persons home
  8. Starters on first Playthrough: Gen I - Squirtle (because Blastoise was on the box of my blue edition) Gen II - Cindaquill Gen III - Torchic (it's cute, fluffy and cuddly! - all time favorite starter even when I didn't know it was OP) Gen IV - Chimchar Gen V - Oshawott (for the love of god... I can't stand Tepig... I don't really know why... I mean I love bacon...) Gen VI - Froakie (wanted to start with Fennekin until I learned that Froakie evolves into a cool ninja-frog) Sooooo yeah... no Grass types on my first playthroughs... Random: - I generally don't like Grass-Types because all of their weaknesses and only few strengths that are better covered by water (Rock/Ground) and electric (flying/water) types - normally I don't look after stats (here in Reborn I do!) - I try to get my Team as early as possible so that I don'T have to switch out and grind levels as much --- this results in my team consisting mostly of Pokemon which are catchable very early. - I absolutely hate level grinding - if it consists purely on wild encounters... it's just boring running around fighting the same pokemon over and over again (thanks to Gen VI for that Battle-Castle thingie) - Favorite type is Ice because Ice wrecked everything in Gen I (Blastoise with Ice Beam and Arcticuno in Team) -> OP as hell back then - I will always get an Eeveelution in my team - Thanks Gen VI for making Eevee easy and early accessible! -> if available I will get Glaceon, since it is my favorite. - beginning with Gen III - I considered Legendaries as really boring to use them in regular play and see them more as trophies. (they are just too overpowerd... and as I grew older I can't stand that) - I almost never use boosting moves... the reason: "Hey let's use Swords Dance to increase my attack!" *uses swords dance* *enemy Pokemon attacks* *my Pokemon fainted* "... well that was a wasted turn... I could have totally wrecked it with a normal attack..." -> I tend to kill the enemy while their setting up.... so they just do the same and I don't get any profit from it...
  9. downloading Smash Bros 3DS Demo - so excited!

      Cepheus

yeah absent of ICs is a shame. Wii U will have the same roster ... but the ICs maybe have a chance as DLC characters...

played a few round and the controls feel a bit awkward with those tiny buttons and you cannot even change control-settings :o

    3. Magus

      Magus

I got early access thanks to some friends. It plays really well and the controls are like that of the gamecube contrller.

    4. Cepheus

      Cepheus

yeah, the controls are the same... but the buttons are so tiny! I always jump by accident or press B when I want to initiate a combo with standard attacks...

  10. There would be the two Grass/Ghost-Types (Pumbdjinn and Phantump) As as Eeveelution lover I have to say Leafeon (don't forget to breed Eevee to get every eeveelution) you can get Chespin (Egg) for Grass/Fighting Whimsicott for Grass/Fairy
  11. Well I don't use repels when I team up with someone... because I friggin abuse the fact that my Pokemon get healed after every battle to level up! (grinded my Swampert from ~50 to 68 that way) In Reborn Shiny rates are so high... even if your Partner killed a shiny... you can come back later you WILL find another one! (While Crustle grinding in Ep12 I fought 4-5 shiny Crustles within an hour or so...) and for Aya - has anyone watched Gossip Gardevoirs TV interview with her? - That is friggin hilarious! ("What are you doing in my house?" "MOM? MOOOOOOOOOM?" "I'm calling the police!" xD)
  12. I guess you are implying we fight Blake on Ametrine-Peak (which conviently has an Ice-Field)? @ Topic: (every leader was fought in Episode 11, except the newer ones that came in 12+13 respectively) Top 3 hardest: 3. Shelly - Why does she Nickname Pokemon? How am I supposed to know what to send out to counter? (dat Yanmega surprise sweep...) 2. Charlotte - If it weren't for that Field + Drought combo... and that speed... 1. Noel - I just want to forget this devil Cinccino, Swellow, Porygon-Z, Clefable... ... oh the pain... notable mention: Julia - For being the first, first Leader that really gave me trouble because of level-cap and not so strong pokemon to have. Top 3 easiest: 3. Flobot - yeah Combusken with fire/fighting made short work of her... I always wondered why everyone hated that Cradily... it died in two hits 2. Corey (Ep11 without field) - I swept almost everything from him with my Quick Claw Groink... then came Crobat... In the end I only lost two Pokemon 1. Luna - level-capped Gardevoir and Blaziken ... yeah... that was a nice clean 2 minute sweep.
  13. I grinded my lvl ~50 swampert to level 68 while i was teamed up with Aya on the way to Calcenon. the double battles that occur are easy and grant a lot of EXP. Aya will completely heal up your Pokemon after every fight. But this is only possible if you haven't reached the Meteor-Base yet. If you are already at Calcenon... well... you could stick with Route 3/4 or go back to Route 2 and farm the Crustle-Nests
  14. The absolute most trolly thing that Ame could have done: We battle a WHOLE really angry as **** Haxorus family (6 in a double battle, a bit like the Pokemon gang in the slums) and then after we finally beat them... we are still still recovering and they are about to leave... FERN will run by, and say something like: "Sweet! Thanks for distracting them for me! Yoink!" *grabs the egg* "Later Loser!" *uses escape rope* but well Ame said the event is done... we just have to wait and see...
  15. I voted Helix... but only because there is no option for the Mother of all Pokemons -> Mew!
  16. so after beating charlotte, I can finally read thorugh the forum without fearing spoilers :D

  17. Finally beat her with my usual team after a whole night considering training my level 1 fossil-Pokemon up to level 68+ ... Team: (everyone Level 69 except Blaziken who is 70) Gardevoir @Quick Claw Psychic - Moonblast - Calm Mind - Rain Dance Swampert @Quick Claw Earthquake - Sludgewave - Hammer Arm - Surf Blaziken @BlackBelt Bulk Up - Brave Bird - Sky Uppercut - Blaze Kick Krookodile @Focus Band Crunch - Earthquake - Strength - Outrage Noivern @ScopeLense Air-Slash - Cut - Dragon Pulse - Shadow Ball (yeah Cut... you never know when you need it... -.- I never had the patience to farm Heartscales to teach it Boomburst... but it will learn it naturally at 75 ) Magnezone @AirBalloon Discharge - Magnet Rise - Flash Cannon - Flash (Magnezone didn't see any action this time) For starters I had Gardevoir and Swampert with QuickClaws, because Charlotte would always outspeed me, and I reset until I got atleast Swamperts Quickclaw 1. round - Swampert EQ OHKOed Typhlosion and Ninetails No1 -> Charotte sends out Volcarona and Ninetails No2 (second Drought!) -> followed by Gardevoirs Rain Dance! (no more Sunny weather for you!) 2. round - Volcarona Giga Drained Swampert resulting in OHKO (go figure)... Ninetails missing with Nature Power against Gardevoir -> Psychic agains Ninetails, me sending out Blaziken. 3. round - Blaziken Sky Uppercut against Ninetails defeating it! Charotte sends out Delphox. Volcarona hits a Heat Wave defeating Gardevoir and insignificantly hurting Blaziken. I send out Noivern. 4. round - Blaziken hits Volcarona with Sky Uppercut. Noivern hits Volcarona critical with Air-Slash killing it. Delphox used Psyshock against Blaziken leaving it at 1 HP and sends out Rotom 5. round - healing up Blaziken and Air-shalshing Rotom. Rotom used Heat Wave and Delphox another Psyshcok, killing Blaziken. I send out Krookodile. 6. round - Rain stops! - Air-slashing Rotom with Noivern, EQ with Krookodile (Rotom immune through Levitate) Delphox died. 7. round - Charotte used Hyper Potion -> Noivern used Air-slash - Krookodile used Crunch -> Rotom dead -> Charlotte is beaten! All in all I would say this was my hardest battle after Noel (pre Episode 12/13)... because I didn't expect a double battle at first and her Pokemon outspeeding mine except Blaziken and Noivern... I considerd Trick Room but then I would have to deal with Drought... And now that I beat her... I'll go and grab my Glaceon (YAY! Thanks Ame )
  18. My signature ... well Eeveelutions but my favorite of them all, my Ace - Glaceon! Why? I always liked Eevee and his evolutions (my brother and friends totally under appreciated them in Gen 1 and 2 so that's where I got my obsession with an Eeveelution team) Eevee is just so cute and cuddly in general And in Gen 4 when I heard that there is an Ice-Type Eeveelution I was so happy that I shed a manly tear. Ice being my favorite-type, and Eeveelutions my favorite = JACKPOT! and now (after I beat Charlotte) I will grab my best Eevee from the PC and head over to that Ice-rock to get my precious ace/signature
  19. wow Charlotte is wrecking me... do I really have to train an Ice-Type doe destroy the field with Blizzard? *ugh*

    1. Sheep

      Sheep

Mhm. I haven't seen you around for a while.

  21. Well if they don't change the teams for both of them... I would say: Mega Sharpedo for Archie Mega Camerupt for Maxie since both teams are identical despite their signature pokemon, which are Sharpedo and Camerupt. Or they rewrote the story a bit so that they get to Control Groudon/Kyogre, and they use their Stones to Prot-Evolve them in a battle prior to the actual battle where we can catch the respective legendary. "With this Stone I control Groudon/Kyogre and unleash it's full Power!" --- *Groudon/Kyogre proto-evolve* "Try and stop us now Kid!" --- *Battle against Proto-Groudon/Kyogre* "How can a kid like you surpass the power of Proto-Groudon/Kyogre???" --- *Groudon/Kyogre flees to it's cave* Or something like that^^
  22. I know that picture, it's around for a few years now iirc. But it's still amazing.
  23. It's kinda confusing that the Waterfall-Nation doesn't get to use Water-Types anymore... I know the names will be changed, but it's confusing^^

    3. Bluewolf

      Bluewolf

Probs the volcano nation(which is why we have kill switch teams to dispatch mutiny quickly :D)

  25. I would suggest a water-type because with the coming Episode we will most likely get HM Surf and need it to advance... that way you would have a well trained water-type to use it with, when you get it. In that regard I could recommend Swampert (get Mudkip in Byxbision Wasteland event, if you haven't already) With it's Water/Ground type it is only vulnerable against Grass (but that 4x). since we will have to face Titanias Steel-Types, Hardy's Rock-Types and Charlottes Fire-Types, Water and Ground are a pretty solid choice for them to take them down with. If you are looking for something that is viable in short term, get a flying type for Samsons Fighting type.
