I agree with some of this but I wouldn't say it was horrible. After creating 150+ new pokemon in generation 5 I completely cut them slack for the 69 good ones. Especially since quite a few of them were pretty good! The Looker part of the post game was really good. I feel bad for forgetting about it since it gave him some character and depth. Compared to X and Y, Black and White/2 just seems so much more better. The pretty good story, how much scale the Unova region had even though it was pretty small. I guess the areas just feel bigger than they actually are. I like Cheren, not so much Bianca but I found her tolerable. Hugh and Colress have some symbolism to them Hugh is a combination of Barry and Silver, where he is antsy and impatient while fighting for his own reasons. A simple term to put it is that he is doing the right thing but for the wrong reasons. He only wants to stop team plasma over his sisters purrloin, he doesn't really care about their motives. Colress is the opposite where he's only with team plasma to enhance pokemon abilities. He cares little of their motives as well. N is without a doubt the most fleshed out character in the series. He grew up manipulated by his "father" to think all people do is abuse pokemon. The second he starts exploring Unova he doubts all he is taught and instantly has inner turmoil. At the end we have a huge clash with him that is one of the most defining moments of the series. Ghetsis is a straight up bad ass. His goal was to take over unova, but jesus his plan was smart. Manipulate a whole region to let go of their pokemon so no one can stop him. It was working too.

I never used a mega evolution in X and Y or ORAS. I was 10 levels under and I still had an easy time. It's a combination of dumb AI and trainers strong pokemon having weaker moves.

I just like how much of an improvement region/story wise ORAS from from the originals (did not like gen 3). Gen 5 was such a major leap for the series so it pains me to see it take some steps backwards.

X and Y were very disappointing to be quite honest. I played it a lot and gen 6's competitive scene is fun as it always is, but X and Y themselves are rather dull. Kalos is an ok region, I love areas like Lumiose city due all that there is to do and parfum palace + geosenge town because of their lore. It's just that everywhere else is sort of one off. The story was so underwhelming coming off of gen 5. Lack of real character development and lack of real threat from the villains. Then suddenly, genocide out of nowhere. I think it's the series worst rivals too. Az was a cool character same with Sycamore. The game was also really easy. What were they thinking when they gave each gym leader minus the first two only 3 pokemon. The e4 have only 4 pokemon each as we. \Alpha Sapphire pleasantly surprised me as a person who DID NOT like gen 3. It still has too many HMs BUT surfing wasn't that bad due to the increased speed. The story was pretty eventful and had lots of development with both your rivals and the main antagonists. I loved surfing on kyogre to the cave of origin. The delta episode was hands down one of the most hype moments in Pokemon! Flying on a rayquaza into space to smash through a meteor! I just like how the story is more eventful. I looked forward to what was added at every turn. The region saw a revamp which was nice. I also love the different type of battle back grounds in this game. The game was still easy but not to the extent of x and y. Turning off the exp share was pretty risky. Also they experimented with different types of music. Wally's battle theme and Zinnia were amazing! Hope the next games aren't as easy but I'm happy to say I enjoyed it.

Pokemon to me is addictive. Every run can be different because you can try new pokemon! I replayed leaf green too many to count. Black and White and it's sequels even more to due actual plot, the pokemon variety. X and Y were too.... under whelming for me to want to replay them a 3rd time and ORAS while being good in their own right. After having my save file corrupt due to a freeze broke my heart to want to try again. Reborn is different in the fact there are still different dialogue choices I'm discovering that change up the story quite a bit and change what battles you do or dont do. Like I never knew saying no to a character changed up 2 important boss fights and changes events that happen later! There is still a lot Pokemon I never used in the game so I feel motivated to try them out in reborn. On top of that, the excellent story is worth re-reading time and time again. I have too many reasons to replay reborn. Help.

I just find victoria annoying. Her intentions are always right, her actions are just very wishy washy. Impeding of progress because she wants to test you or her morals are in the way of reason. I don't really like Julia as well. She wound up being one of those one and one characters who have a gimmick to them and don't acquire a layer of depth.

ORAS was a pretty good improvement from X and Y story wise. Lot's characters got development, it had a much greater scope and it was more eventful than X and Y. This is sad since these are remakes rather than new entries. It graphically looks better too. X and Y's colour pallet was very dull and washed out. However, both entries are so easy. I would appreciate a difficulty setting. I think it's pretty much laziness. Amethyst should make a reborn difficulty setting xD

Here's my thing, I don't care how they do it as long as my Nintendo games play great and they go with better hardware this time. One thing they'll learn from mobile gaming is that a good resolution benefits everything. Since Nintendo always makes the hardware better than what was strongest last generation it'll be pretty much stronger than the Vita dual screen or not. I just hope that they decide to make it more conventional and not gimmicky. The gimmicks are what gave the 3DS a slow start and made the wii U a dud. I love both but 3DS could be at 70 million sales at this point rather than 51. Wii U could have been a better system without the gamepad regardless of how much I love it. Either way we're getting better online and account systems this year so this is only benefiting so far.

I've been on this forum since the official release of episode 12, but never introduced myself to this so far wonderful community. I'm Jordan, yeah. Not spectacular. I dont know how this goes so I'll list off stuff I really like. I'm a huge fan of this game to a point of obsession. I have over... 4 complete playthroughs (I would have nine but lost 5 of those files). My favourite Pokemon is Gardevoir. Favorite Pokemon Generation is 5th gen. My favorite game of all time is Mother 3. Very into Visual novels, bought a Vita to play the brilliant Danganronpa series (DR3 CONFIRMED, HYPE). Ace Attorney is my favorite. Love jrpgs such as Xenoblade Chronicles, Persona 4, Devil Survivor (basically into Shin Megami Tensei and spin offs) Huge Nintendo fan, I own a wii U and 3DS (I do play Smash Bros.). So yeah, um, introduction done.

I understand the cynicism with this. The big thing about this is that it could bring more customers to their dedicated systems while making money on the mobile market. Plus they said if it doesn't work out they'll tuck their tails and run away. They are handling it in the best way possible because, for starters they are keeping their gaming division separate from mobile stuff. The fact they are coming out with "new hardware" (obviously brand spanking new handheld) in the next 2-3 years. This is also gonna improve their online stuff. I dunno, we barely know anything yet and the stuff we do no is fairly good for them. As long as it benefits me as a gamer I can dig it. Well here's the thing, they always try to be more powerful than the strongest system of the previous generation. Hence the wii being (slightly) more powerful than the xbox. 3DS outclasses the PSP. So at worst it'll be a slightly stronger vita. What I'm hoping for is that they go with a 720p native resolution and hardware to be able to run their core games in 720p 30/60fps

Nintendo just announced a partnership with DeNA. A mobile software company. DeNA is working on a new type of online structure/account system. Nintendo games in some form will be made on mobile devices.This doesn't mean Nintendo won't be making game systems as they announced the system will be given details in 2016. -Old games will not be brought over. So no pokemon or any other Nintendo games pre-2015 or 2016 will be made available on your phone. -These smart phone games will not be made available on wii U or 3ds. Meaning they will not interfere with core development. -Club Nintendo will be replaced with some sort of premium membership much like PSN. DENA will also help them improve their current online. Hopefully. -Nintendo NX is going to be a new handheld to be given details in 2016. It will be an attempt at bridging mobile and handhelD markets. This is good because that's what the Playstation Vita is. Meaning we could get a Nintendo handheld that has pretty good hardware. Or at least it will be more powerful than the vita. Not knocking the 3ds I love it. I just wish it had a better screen resolution. Thoughts?

Yeah I kind of regret not being talkative in the beginning myself. Only recently am I trying to participate in the forums because this is a really good community.

I actually beat the arceus a few times. Usually I try to base my team around the super bosses this game throws at you. I was able to use a crobat to damage it a few times with acrobatics. Then Medicham nearly kills it with high jump kick. Empoleon used brine and finished the job.

I've been thinking about doing one when I get a better computer. However, what I want to know is, besides shofu (his playthrough has it's ups and downs) are there any "good" on-going reborn playthroughs? Nickaboo hasn't gone past episode 10 so I wouldn't suggest him.
