    Startled and a bit bewildered at the turn of events, Lucifer watched the ball roll around for a while. Long enough to get hit by a spray of water that had, luckily, hit the tree in such a way that the brunt of the attack was blocked, but nonetheless the water stung and sent the Ghost-Fire type reeling. Back at the Trainer's platform-thing-where-the-trainer-in-battle-was-stationed, Raiza watched, with rising anxiety, as her Litwick tottered a bit, almost floating into a tree. "Oh, no," she murmured. When he shook his head vigorously, though, she let out a sigh of relief, though her heart still pounded violently. He hadn't gotten his circuits scrambled from the Water Pulse, no, but the way he reacted showed how hard the Water attack hit. "Calm Mind, sweetie! Just hang on; you can do it!" As the Ghost-Fire type hovered where he was, by the trees, he tried to focus and calm himself, trying to keep whatever darkness engulfed him the day before at bay-- unaware that his Trainer wished she could calm herself just like that.

    Yeah, I see what you mean. Calm Mind does seem like a stationary move to me too, so that was why I had Lucifer use it behind a tree... But yeah, the way I'm playing it kinda is like how a player in an FPS would hide and camp, and it isn't fair. :x Now that you mention it, I really have to be more aware of how I move... I was super dodgy in my previous battle too. ... ps what do you call the part of the field where the trainer-in-battle stays

    The Espurr stared down at the trap that extended into an inky darkness. "Wow." After a few more moments of solemn silence, Pulse turned to head to the stairs. "Shame, he seemed nice."

    {Ryan VS Raiza} Both Litwick and his Trainer saw how the lil' ball o' blubber swayed on the spot. "Break the barrier with Energy Ball, then follow up with Clear Smog!" The sentient candle hovered closer, firing a virid plasma-like ball at Glacien, followed closely by a misty, translucent mauve spray that seemed to spread the further it traveled. Hopefully the Grass attack would penetrate the veil of water at least, making way for the leveling move.

    The way Lia handled the man didn't faze Brythit even a bit, although she waved away whatever smoke drifted her way, a bit irritably. "Any bright ideas then, Bomoriel? Otherwise, see what you can find out. Haggard, scan the area with your drones. Might as well put both conventional and unconventional means to the test." Turning her eyes like deep, dark wells to the owner. "Exactly what were the missing men's jobs here, sir? Positions?"

    From behind the cover and safety of some fake trees, the Ghost-Fire type concentrated. Assuming from how the blue ball of blubber didn't try to seek and strike him, the Spheal was probably preparing for something absolutely horrendous. "Lucifer, F-Bomb!" called Raiza. Ah, that just might do it. If a regular Confuse Ray wasn't good enough to nail his prey, then this just might catch him off-guard. The thought helped fuel the flame on his head as it burned brighter and seemed to swell, shining with an odd light. Hovering to and appearing in a clearing between some trees suddenly, Lucifer flung the attack straight at Glacien; even if the center of the Flame Burst-Confuse Ray combination missed, surely the scattering embers and lights would throw the Water-Ice type into disarray.

But even still, you're with me now and Somehow that makes everything okay. But even still, you're with me now and Somehow the nagging feeling goes away. But today's a little bit different and there's a change in tone I feel like drifting away; dandelion seeds shouldn't, can't, and don't own. I feel like drifting away and I don't want you to see. I've got to fly away on my own wind before I drag you down-- All I think about anyway is "me, me, me" All whoever think this way is me, me, and me I've ruined this poem making it all about me It's all I'm ever good at and even still I don't want you to see The pitiful, ugly, disdainful me The truth I guess is that I love you but I don't know if I want you to love me Even then, you're there right now and I just want to slip away somehow fragile like a gossamer ball that dissipates in its very fall

    "Copy that." The dark haired woman didn't even look down at the device wrapped around her wrist as she surveyed the area. "Actually, Boss? Tell us again about the previous cases-- any consistent clues, or something like that?" Naturally, the team had been briefed on this earlier, but just to be sure, Brythit wanted everyone to hear the information again. Especially herself. Just because you were endowed to have a "genius IQ" didn't mean you had a perfect photographic memory of things. It didn't mean that you could take one look at just one crime scene and figure everything out. But anyway, before she would delegate tasks to each member of the team, it would be best to run over the details again... especially when this scene looked completely normal when it really was anything but.

    Don't mind Tomas. xD He's indefinitely in a state of denial with regards to sanity and insanity. We've all cast away our sanity at the door or even before. Regarding your concerns about your other account, I suppose you could talk to Amethyst about it...? Alternatively, you could just use a "Change Display Name" item from the Site Shop, if you've got the Rupees and the patience to earn said Rupees to. Science and nature in general = <3 and yes food is love, food is life Also, welcome, and wololooooo ~ \o/
