My souls ended up on a cross beam that some of the pendulum blades were swinging from. The ones that are above the really thin walkway. Suffice to say I tried and failed to get them back.

I mean a lot of it is safe if you know how to kill the enemies XD. ((or the very convenient ladders that don't lead to your death trying to jump through Sen's Fortress is definitely insane to some level.)). THis is coming from the guy that still maintains the Dark Souls isn't actually a hard game... people just do dumb stuff and make it hard for themselves lol.

I'll agree though. Dark Souls is hard if you are not willing to learn. And accept the fact that you will lose your souls.
