Genuinely I feel that Reborn as a whole feels less personal and friendly to newcomers or having a flame for the oldies to keep coming back to. Other's have described it better than I have and I feel like i have to agree the most with Commander here. I do feel however this is our fault as we've really put just about no effort in trying to change that up to now. For some real opinions, I absolutely hate the look of the new forums. They look downright ugly to me and as I said, much less personal and user friendly.

I'm arguably one of the youngest members of the community and despite that I've been around for quite a long time. I'm a secondary school student currently pendant going into year 11. I have no idea what in the world I'm going to do with my life but that's the fun ain't it, figuring it out. I generally lurk on discord or the semi abandoned showdown server. I've helped organise a league made in honour of the old reborn league, the redemption league in both of it's runs so far, so shameless plug there. Aside from that I don't really do a whole lot, if you see me just hmu and we'll chat into oblivion I guess. Anything you're responsible for? Aside from helping host Redemption, I'm now a Discord Moderator so I guess the well being of that chat is my job now. The return's a special occasion isn't it? One time only. Hence the following rule; One time use items only. The tier will be SM UU. For this tournament, Mega stones and Z-crystals will NOT be allowed. The tour will be held on our Showdown Server on Friday 21st July 2017(This upcoming Friday.) That being said there's one thing I still need to resolve and that is an optimal time slot for this. Currently looking at one of: 6pm GMT(2pm EST), 8pm GMT(4pm EST) or alternatively, 9AM GMT(5am EST) on Saturday instead. If you've got any suggestions as to alternative times, go right ahead.

Shout out to @Arkhi and the rest of the auth for organising this neat party. There were some issues but I don't think they took away from the overall enjoyment I had of the event. Good stuff.

When PT's phone hates Comp talk.

So as of recent, activity on the local showdown server has been declining rapidly, redemption just ended and discord's usage is only rising due to it being so user friendly. This also means there's not much reason to be around on the showdown server, which isn't exactly great. Hence me making this thread, to see whether people are interested in bringing back these relics. For those who don't know, back in the day, we used to have tournaments of all kinds on reborn's servers. These ranged from classic OU singles, to doubles and triples, to restricted mon usage to even Metronome only Wailords. It was pretty fun and there'd be a range of prizes offered too. Even last year, ex developer Kurotsune hosted a series of theme tours that handed out Pseudos which where previously unavailable, to the winners of said tours. Heck there's one to be held this Saturday during our annual Summer Party. Maybe it'd be cool if they were held semi-regularly again? Which is why I ended up making this thread, to see whether there's any interest in having these things happen again on the showdown server. Answer the Poll above, just a simple yes or no as to whether you'd be interested in them.

There gun be some decent length ones and some one liners. @Jericho We've never really talked too much outside of one or two extended pm's we had going for a bit but you're honestly one of the people I looked up to and still look up to. You're a great guy, level headed and are willing to voice your opinion a lot when you disagree with something. At the same time you can break the ice well and get a good conversation going, usually through a joke of some kind. You don't really come around here much anymore so I hope the best for you in whatever you do in the future, keep being awesome. @Alex I only really started talking to you somewhat frequently late last year and honestly anybody'd be able to see that you're a super nice person.
