    red isnt a champion anymore. every region only has one champion, otherwise the title just wouldnt make any sense. so while he is a former champion, he isnt really a champion in gen II. same thing with alder in bw2, really. he is, however, a legendary trainer that is stronger than the champion. again, this is nothing we havent seen before (emerald steven etc). being the strongest trainer doesnt necessarily equal being the champion, though.

    torn between gen I and gen VI as theyre the only two generations in which I like all the starters. gen I wins out just barely, I suppose.

      still far from considering the amount of broken stuff you can get very early on (magnemite, furfrou, hawlucha), but yeah. its definitely a cut above all the gen VI games and sun/moon.

       

      theres a lot of broken things you can use to make the game easier (refresh, rotom powers), but you can also choose to not use those so im w/e about it.

      I think I went over this before but just because you can play tic tac toe with your feet instead of your hands doesn't mean it make tic tac toe more difficult. Also just because the enemies got 2 times stronger doesn't mean the game got more difficult if you got 3 times stronger.

      Well I think sangan's best use is for ghost ogre and snow rabbit, ash blossom and yoyous spring , Maxx C, ... :cards that activate from the hand during the opponents turn aka handtraps.

       

      Duel links doesn't has these cards so sangan sucks. The problem with generic searchers like sangan is that the rextrictions need to fit the archetype it plays with. For sangan it requires to be summoned and then be send to the graveyard. With those requirements you might as well use the summon for something better. So I doubt it will be used that much.

      I see what you mean. with sangans erratum, you also cant have your sangan be destroyed and activate aforementioned hand trap in the same turn, I suppose.

       

      the biggest use of sangan I can see right now is in exodia, since the head was unsearchable until now. still, exodia is a meme deck at best so rip.

      Nice prismic pull.   I got a R.E. Slash Dragon  and another King of the Swamp so far.  Only bought 3 so far.

    OH BOY you absolutely want simple. in earlygame moody is better since everything and their mother has growl and whatnot, but simple double team is a scummy yet underrated tactic. extremely good for cheesing, which you will need to do a lot with only rodents. I myself swept samson with a bibarel due to that strat so I like.

      ..................well, so much for my "stay in gold for a while" plan.  I accidentally lost track of where I was and advanced to Plat (when I thought I was in Gold 4).   fuck

       

       

      Edit: It's strange.  I  was farming Lvl 40 Mai pretty effectively yesterday, but today I've lost all 5 time with Ojamas (with only 1 time being because neither Restart hand had the right cards)

      also huh. I dont think ojamas work too well either, considering spiritual wind art, harpie harpist and phalanx pike exist and are in her deck. what ive been trying is just beast rising hazy flame. inconsistent as hell, but I gotta make due with what I have.

      I mean, I got them to work fine yesterday, with the Quill Pen being the only card that kept getting in way, though I countered it ok (as long as she doesn't summon Bird/Joe man that turn).

    in nine out of ten cases, having at least one stab move is preferred, but sometimes the mon just doesnt need them (usually walls or tanks like chansey and porygon2) or doesnt run them to better perform a role in the team.
