You can get the key for it as soon as you get Rock Smash, but it HAS to be before you defeat Shade. If you wait, it gets blocked off until the 5th badge. -

FINALLY finished the 3d Cinder Badge. Sorry it took so long, I was busy these past couple of weeks, and the badge itself was just... UGHHHH.

And we're finally back with the Cinder Badge! Sorry this one took so long, guys. First of all, I was busier these last couple of weeks than I usually am. Secondly, this badge. I hate it. Charlotte has a bit of a reputation for being the hardest gym leader in the game so far, and while I didn't actually have that much trouble with her (I happened to have just the right Pokemon in my party, okay?), her badge more than lives up to her infamy. Those flames were just.. Ugh, I wish there was a way I could have drawn them with my mouse and then converted that into a 3d shape! And when I finally made them, I had to do the outline! You would think that copying the shape, making it a little bigger, and cutting out the middle would work, right? Well it does if the shape in question is simple, like a square or circle. But if it's something complex like those flames, then the dimensions are always all wrong for some reason, no matter how you try to adjust them! I had to literally make the entire thing again, just a little bigger! And then they didn't want to line up properly with the rest of the badge, and... it was just a nightmare. I'm glad it's finally over. And now that it's out of the way, let's see if I can make the rest before episode 15 comes out!

While the mugging thing sounds good and plausible, the rest seems RIDICULOUS in terms of scripting. Affecting which items appear where? how much money you get from trainers? IN GAME EVENTS? That sounds like Ame would have to pretty much overhaul the game's coding, thrice or more over, all just for one Pokemon?

I always had wanted to use a Rapidash on my team in a game, and Reborn's shiny sprite makes me wanna use it more. But I've never really had time or room for one yet.

On a related note to the Sneasel and whatnot events, I have a, uh... strong suspicion we'll also get Feebass.

No... Sheer Force makes Totodile WAY too good. Like, Contrary Serperior or Iron Fist Infernape kind of good. I say Fennekin and Turtwig because they're the only "not that good" starters left.

I said this before as a status post, but we should have Fennekin in episode 15! I mean, it's considered the least good of its starter trio (sorry fans of it but it's kinda true), yet we got Chespin first and STILL no Fennekin? EDIT: I guess a similar case could be made for Turtwig.
