    Is it the fact that we're getting better at pokemon that makes the main games easier or do GF/Nintendo not balance out difficulty properly these days? Just curious into why we find pokemon games easier these days...

      I recently played Platinum as gen 4 was the only one I haven't played. I can confirm that it's the games that are getting easier.

      Oh, I actually didn't know that XY took away EXP depending on level difference . o . I thought as of BW it was a permanent change like reusable TMs.
