  1. In the immortal words of Shurelia: On a more serious note: how do you keep balance between your real life and the plethora of duties that come with leading a project like this? I find it atrociously difficult sometimes, and I don't have a forum/SD server/game with online functionality to run... Also why didn't you answer the last two questions by Felix and Cronos?
  2. Something I fail to wrap my mind around: why would Facebook list some of my friends, without any promtping on my part, as "other friends"? It gives the distinct impression that some friends are more relevant than others, a noton I for one strongly object to...

      dragoniteborntacoz

I've found that for me Facebook labels my friends as people I chat with on messenger a lot and other friends as people I don't chat with

That isn't always true and it doesn't explain why sometimes I have two other friends lists

    2. Odybld

      Odybld

And if you answer my pm someday, I'll even register for the league thing. Ain't that amazing? :P

  3. I DID say "I am going to donate 1000 rupees to the first one who gets this reference". I thought that would make it clear that the line in question was a joke made around a reference to something, and not an actual wish on my part that you (or anyone else) would have childhood traumas <.< Which leads me to another question: why do you always take things so seriously? I mean sure, if you weren't this serious I wouldn't have seeked you out and bonded with you to begin with (a project with myself, Zim and Nova in it? Yeah, imagine how well that would turn out without a down-to-heart person to keep us in check), but you really seem to fail your spot checks on jokes and sarcasm with alarming regularity... Also yay a Crash Bandicoot fan. I thought I was the only one left
  4. Are you planning on focusing more extensively on music making from now on? How busy is your schedule going to be in the upcoming two months? Do you think you'd be able to work with people you had big disagreements with in the past? These are totally innocent questions, with no underlying motives whatsoever
  5. To clarify, I wasn't (re-)debating your dislike for physical contact, I was merely asking for the reason behind it. Although, I guess the last paragraph of your rant does answer the question, so everything is fine. I am glad I got to know a bit better And as far as fanservice goes, my brain agrees with you as far as the instances of it being used poorly are concerned. But at the same time, I have a MASSIVE weakness for female beauty, so when I see such beauty being flaunted, I find it difficult to focus on that kind of criticism. That's just the way I am lol. Although I am a bit disappointed because I was kinda hoping you'd reveal some sort of childhood trauma as your reason for disliking fanservice, like I dunno, you hate ladies with big breasts (and physical contact) because your evil babysitter used to smother you into unconsciousness in order to make you shut up as a kid (I swear I am going to donate 1000 rupees to the first one who gets this reference), or something like that. But oh well, I will settle for a rational explanation. Now go back to making dialogues for Se7en you slacker
  6. But of course. I grace Hukuna's AMA with a question, and he was last online one minute ago. And both Nova and Zim have been around recently, but considering that the message I need to send them, is going to be rather verbose, they will have left by the time I am done. Thrice cursed timezones!

At least I sent a short one.

  7. Why are you posting topics like this instead of dialogues for Se7en? No but seriously, there is a serious question I have been wanting to ask you for a while, so I am going to take this chance. It is so serious, I am going to leave the whole "roleplay as Cat" thing aside for a moment. So, to my knowledge you are a young male who is 4 years younger than me, which makes you what, 20? Yet, in many occasions since we first became acquainted, you have expressed an almost obsessive fear of being touched (to the point of overreacting to a hug joke made by people ON AN INTERNET FORUM, where the risk of anyone actually getting to touch you is more or less non-existant), as well as a disdain for all things fanservice. I even remember an instance in which you purposedly locked yourself out of a conversation during Se7en development, because there was a minor sexual overtone to the topic at hand and you were not comfortable with it (yes, I am talking about that one line that was originally based on bondage, before I forced Zim to backpedal). So my question is: why is that? Mind you, I am not criticizing you or anything, I am just curious because, well, I remember how I was at your age. Now I will be the first to admit that I probably tend to exaggerate on the opposite end of the spectrum (I never denied being a perv, after all, although I like to consider myself a chivalrous one), which means my own experience is probably not the best unit to measure things by. But even with that in mind, your behaviour strikes me as odd. More accurately, it strikes me as something you wouldn't just pick up on a whim, without a concrete reason: I am curious as to what that reason may be is all.
  8. To the attention of my loyal peons of Pokemon Se7en: due to some unforeseen circumstances at university, the posts I had promised will be delayed untill this evening at the very least, with a relevant chance of them being pushed to tomorrow. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, although it did not depend on my own will.

  9. I shall be so graceful as to repeat publicly the advice I posted in a topic: if you are a Pokemon fan and you have access to NDS emulators, play Conquest, then follow it up with Luminous Arc and its sequel. If you enjoy them, you will discover a new genre (isometric SRPGs), and you'll be ready to move onto more complex things like Disgaea or Tactics Ogre...

    1. Cepheus

      Cepheus

this genre is already one of my favorites... and it started with Final Fantasy Tactics :P

Believe it or not, I never actually played FFT. Not because there is something about it that I do not like, mind you. Simply, I have always been attracted more by other things.

    3. Cepheus

      Cepheus

the worst thing that happened to me in FFT - I played a new file and grinded so heavily in the first chapter that my Black Mage knew all Level 4 spells (Ice 4, Fire 4, Bolt 4)... then the next day when I wanted to continue the story:

      "SAVE FILE CORRUPT"

  10. Well, I should probably mention how steep the difficulty curve of Disgaea games is. Typically (and particularly in the first game of the series), the first two or three battles are ridiculously easy... And then the difficulty increases exponentially, particularly in the bottom levels of the dreaded Item World. Although that is mostly achieved by giving enemies ridiculously high levels and godly equipment you have no way of obtaining, so that could very well be classified as fake difficulty. As far as true difficulty goes, Chrono Trigger probably deserves a mention. The Magus boss fight alone is probably harder than any other boss fight you have faced in any other RPG of similar setting, and yet the game is never unfair: there is a trick to every battle, the difficulty lies in your own ability to figure it out. And a honorable mention for Pokemon Conquest: while not difficult by any stretch of imagination, it can be challenging for those who are used to the standard RPG structure of Pokemon games, as they will need to get used to the complex strategizing and the tactical importance of positioning on the battlefield, which are typical elements of SRPGs. In fact, I think every Pokemon fan should play Conquest (and then follow it up with some bread-and-butter, low-level SRPG like Luminous Arc and its sequel) as a way of learning the ways of the genre, before venturing into more complex things like DIsgaea, Tears to Tiara and Tactics Ogre... Doing so could very well lead one to discover a new genre. And widening one's horizons is important, is it not?
  11. Of course, the Pokedex entry of the Pokemon dear Father gave me. But since that particular one still hasn't been made of public knowledge, I shall settle with Gothitelle's B2/W2 one: it is of course quite disturbing to think that my dear Pokemon would know the exact extent of my lifespan, but at the same time, knowing that it would grow so close to me that it would cry over it is kinda moving. There is a lot to say for loyalty.
  12. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/uususpecttest-303029634 Dear me, I probably shouldn't be saying this, but... Smashing through the infamously bulky Cresselia in one hit feels quite satisfying. Thank goodness those peasants over at Smogon saw it fit to reintroduce Crawdaunt in the tier, although I do not actually hope that they will allow it to stay once the testing phase is over.
  13. Since so many admirers have requested it, I shall grace you all by demonstrating how a proper lady should behave, with my status updates and posts from this point on [read: I will try and stay in character. This should be fun]

  14. Now I feel lame and uninteresting <.<
  15. Woah, I have been playing Luminous Arc 2 for not even 20 minutes, and I am surprised to see just how many improvements there have been compared to the first installment...

  16. Half the members of Se7en have started logging in anonymously. How is a guy supposed to stalk his co-workers?

Maybe not for you, but I think trains are pretty swell. Unfortunately rural America has a nonexistent train system.

Bingo, the only train I ride was an overnight train from Paris to Madrid.

  18. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/uususpecttest-302490139 In Gen 4, Salamence was banned for being able to break stall cores involving Blissey. In Gen 6 it has fallen to UU, where it forms a stall core of its own with Blissey.

  21. Remember Huk is the one writing the dialogues. Don't you think that a plucky scientist is something he would do?
  22. TO ALL THE PEOPLE I HELPED WITH THEIR REDEMPTION TEAMS: as the day when I go back to Bologna draws near, which means that work on Se7en is about to restart as intense as ever, I am going to have to delete all of our private conversations, to save space for the new Se7en-related discussions I will soon have to start. I apologize for this, but there is no way around it.

Hey, you hadn't been contacting me for a while anyway, I assumed you were fine. Besides, it wasn't just the two of you :P

  23. As usual, Cepheus Logic does not disappoint. Of course I cannot and will not tell you if you got it right, but I applaud your reasoning. Although, it is going to be a long way before any of you can find out...
  24. And there is also the fact that Catherine is quite hot herself. I mean look at her: red hair, sky blue eyes, gothic lolita clothing, parasol of prettiness. What's not to love?
