Fair enough. My impressions so far: 1) The protagonist has a name and a defined personality, with both positives and negatives to him. This is a serious set up compared to many other games in the genre, so yeah, hooray for that. 2) The titular character is kinda boring. Her relationship with Subaru is built on tropes I have seen a trillion times, and she is a complete doormat in her interactions with anyone else. The only interesting twists to her personality come from that part of the game we agreed not to explicitly discuss (but again, that is a big, BIG part of the game), so yeah... 3) Narika is easily the most interesting character, as she plays the tsundere persona in a very unique way. She is not stereotypical, there are things to her that are worth remembering, which is frankly more than I can say about Haruka. She's also stronger in battle, because she has far better speed (if you choose your abilities right, she basically dodges everything, triviliazing virtually any boss fight), can make up for her mediocre attack by using that special of hers that permanently boosts her damage output, and while she does have low barrier, that doesn't make any difference because you can just train. 4) Subaru is a character I am not sold on. She surely is unique and memorable, it's her dynamics with the rest of the cast I am not sold on. As mentioned, her relationship with Haruka is something I have seen a trillion times, and while it is nice to have a mature love option, she is mature only in a "battle hardened" way, we never see her show her maturity in fields other than battle-related matters and sex. Also her missing arm turns me off. 5) The baddies are possibly the best thing about this game. Every single villain is unique and memorable, from the mooks who always scream "nunja" to the quirky mini bosses to the big bad bosses. Orochimaru's humanization felt kinda rushed at times, but hey, given the genre, it was interesting to see a male, and not a female, get the inevitable heel-face turn. Still haven't cleared it, so I can't say which ending is the best. But well, considering that Narika is the most interesting character AND the best one in battle, I see no reason for choosing any route other than hers. I am not interested in the "dark side" routes either, because tentacles are not my cup of tea, if you know what I mean.

Notice: since I hate the whole April's Fool business, I am going to lock myself inside my house tomorrow, with no contacts with the outside (this includes the internet) until April the 2nd. So yeah, if you don't see me around, that is why.

Assault Vest is my fav item alongside Choice Band... But I would advice against using it on all 6 Pokemon. See, the problem is that a Pokemon that carries Assault Vest is completely exposed to status and has no recovery. To offset this, you need support from a cleric... But if all 6 Pokemon carry AV, none of them can play as a cleric. So yeah, if you are still adamant on making a team with 6 AV users, here are some tips to play around this glaring problem: 1) Use Pokemon that have Regenerator. 2) Use Pokemon whose typing makes them immune to certain kinds of status. 3) Use Rapid Spin. 4) Use draining moves (Giga Drain, Drain Punch etc). Some Pokemon that are useful with the above in mind: 1) Tornadus-T (has U-turn and Regen) 2) Raikou (forms a Volt-Turn core with the above, can switch into electric attacks aimed at the above, is immune to t-wave) 3) Amoonguss (has Regen AND Giga Drain, is immune to poison AND to powder moves) 4) Excadrill (immune to poison and to t-wave, has Rapid Spin) 5) Slowbro or Slowking (Regen, offensive and defensive synergy with Amoonguss) 6) Scrafty (bulky on both sides thanks to Intimidate, has Drain Punch) 7) Tangrowth (basically the same as Amoonguss, you are losing the immunity to poisoning to gain more offensive presence) 8) Heatran (immune to poisoning AND to WoW, in fact, it is the only Fire-type that is viable in OU with AV) 9) Tyranitar (doesn't have any of the mentioned perks, but between sand and AV, its SpDef reaches ridiculous levels) There are probably more. Hope this helps.

The ATV had a smooth engine, but it was fucking heavy. Result: spent about 20 minutes arguing about whether or not lifting the front wheels off the ground for not even a second (and for a handful of centimeters) counts as a "wheelie".

After you do that, you want to immediately move all of your wheight in the opposite direction, so that you can return to normal position BEFORE you can fall upside down. I can do it with those plastic tricycles for kids, so I can do it with virtually anything. But being a very skinny guy, my wheight isn't enough to dramatically alter the balance of something as heavy as an ATV...

Hmm, I wonder who said that. What I do wish is for you to succeed, partly since I don't want to sound too apathetic,and partly because backing out of a commitment is not honourable. Even if said commitment is impractical and may cause you to regret your decision later.

To cut the staff banter short, and leave room to the speculations of the fans (which is what this topic is supposed to be about): remember when I said that, in all of Graterras, the Pokemon with the greatest potential damage output was a Rock-type? Well... So yeah, offensively this guy is simply incredible, by far our best creation. And it had to be, as a way of counterbalancing the simple fact that Game Freak hates the Ice type. End result: a Pokemon that can handily OHKO Uber-tier walls like it's nothing... But is STILL gonna be PU because of its typing. Blame GF, not us. Oh, and by the way, this immense firepower is made possible by its HA. Which is a canon one. Feel free to speculate on this, but know that I won't be saying anything more on this matter.

Ok I am back in Bologna. Although, grandpa is technically still alive: itis unknown if he will last a year, a month or a day, so yeah, when he does die I will have to go back on little notice. With all the situation with my grandpa, I had ALMOST forgotten what horrible human beings my parents can be. Leave it to them to remind me on Easter day... Although, tomorrow I am going back to Bologna, so I shouldn't complain.

Turn over, dad tagged me out. I should sleep, but between the bottled up emotions fro. watching over grandpa for four hours, the cold of the night, and the tension to drive back home, I am not sleepy at all <.<
I hope he can pass on soon. my grandpa's were both like that, even though they were not even conscious, they waited until the family had left the room until they died. take care!
