Serene forced herself to push away from the tree, causing her to stagger forward. She walked unsteadily, clutching the wound in her right shoulder. Grabbing a flask from her pack, she downed it while staggering to join Meredith and Serene. Moves to V3, chugs a Vulnerary

MSIK is arguably more violent than Madoka. But it's pretty different from Madoka. Don't go in expecting something similar, i.e. a deconstruction of the genre. It's good, but not good in the same way that Madoka was good. In fact, it's closer to Danganronpa than to Madoka. (I'm loving it btw) Izetta has gorgeous animation. Not Hibike!! Euphonium/KyoAni - level gorgeous, but gorgeous. It also has a good cast and an interesting premise. And PERIOD-ACCURATE MILITARY EQUIPMENT. My only gripe with the show so far is that Fine (one of the main pair) is currently a bit of a Sue when it comes to princessing - more or less perfect in every way and has the adulation of her people. However, I'm expecting this to change in the near future as she's forced to make more tough decisions. Careful. It's standard UC Gundam, not so much for SEED and onwards. People expecting to see laser beams everywhere will be sorely disappointed, since it's a Real Robot series, not a Super Robot one. But it is EXTREMELY high quality and has (imo) the best OP of the season. It's also written by Mari Okada, who did the writing for shows like AnoHana, Kiznaiver, Gosick and ToraDora. It's far heavier on the politics than SEED or 00 were, imo, and to me that's a good thing, but that may put some people off, idk.

Serene hissed and touched a hand to the gaping wound which currently adorned her shoulder. Axes hurt. Perhaps attacking the guy from melee range wasn't the smartest of ideas. Still, she couldn't help it; she was impulsive. She had the energy of fire, but also its fickle nature. She would heal soon enough, but... for now, attempting to move would be dangerous. She slumped against a nearby tree and began fumbling in her pack for some medicine.

"My fire is burning brighter... though I think I'd like for it to burn faster, as well."

Serene growled when the fighter managed to avoid her attack. Her eyes briefly flashed red, but quickly returned to their natural blue. "Dodge my fire? What insolence." She kicked herself off the ground and launched herself into the forest, lobbing another fire spear at her adversary's face. Moves to R3 and launches fire at Fighter2's face.

"Thanks for the show! I'm getting fired up~" Serene formed a sword of flames while moving and ran to join Anna, lobbing the blade at the nearby axe wielder. Moves to Q3 and attacks and hopefully crits Fighter 2
