  1. Intervention to top of Init ladder, then Restoration on Hikari to heal [1d4+ 8 INT] health and one status ailment if present Ritsu Stats:
  2. [Enemy Phase] Scavenger 3 Moves to F12 and attacks Cadence Moving up to Cadence, the scavenger strikes her with dark magic, which does noticeable damage and causes Cadence to go berserk. In her fury, she swings her sword in an attempt to retaliate, but both strikes miss their mark. Scavenger 4 Moves to E2 and attacks Cadence with Worm Seeing an opening, the second scavenger also strikes Cadence with dark magic, though the effect seemed to be diminished somewhat. Cadence, still in her blind fury, was unable to land a clean hit onto the scavenger. Thief 3 Moves to E3 and attacks Cadence Taking up Cadence's earlier taunt, the thief moves forward and takes Cadence down with a simple strike with his knife. "Well, looks like that's all she wrote. I have to say, you made a pretty big showing earlier, and while you may have the strength to back it up, sometimes things don't work out for you," the thief remarks before looking about. "Now then, I should bail before she gets really pissed" Dancer 5 Moves to G2 and dances Thief 3 Thief 3 Moves to K3 Knight 11 Moves to K2 Knight 14 Moves to C11 and attacks Idei The knight tries to strike the confused horseman, but his daze seemed to make him very unpredictable movement wise, causing the knight to miss his strike.   3. Reinvigorated, Clarisse tries to crush another knight, only for him to dodge and retaliate with a strike of his own. Myrdwyn flies towards the other knight and strikes him with her lance. Though it was a significant blow, the knight managed to respond with his own weaker counterattack. A second strike from Myrdwyn's lance landed true and finished off the knight. Cheat Sheet:

  5. "''Fraid not lady. We don't care who you are or what you're capable of. So long as we can take a few of you down, that's more than enough for what we were hired for," the thief besides the now fallen knight responded. "Heck, stalling you here for as long as we have will probably be enough to get us all our pay. Our benefactor is probably already handling business elsewhere, while you all are stuck here having to get out of this place," the thief laughs.
  6. Desperate to clear the path, Idei rides forward and fires two shots with surprising accuracy given his condition. The mage does manage to counterattack before the arrows strike him down, dealing some damage to Idei. Cheat Sheet:
  7. Myrdwyn flies towards the troubadour and strikes them with her lance, greatly injuring them. They try to retaliate, but the axe goes so wide that Myrdwyn was slightly confused as to where they were aiming. Ignoring that detail, Myrdwyn finishes off the troubadour, who incidentally seemed to accept their impending demise, and then moves to reposition. Cheat Sheet:

[Enemy Phase] Null Knight 1 Moves to F3 Dancer 5 Moves to H3 Scavenger 4 Moves to H2 Thief 3 Moves to F2 Scavenger 3 Moves to J3 Knight 11 Moves to O2 Mage 5 attacks Madante The mage needs only a quick strike to take down Madante, bringing him down to the ground. Scavenger 6 Moves to C16 and attacks Helena with Iron Knife A quick strike with the knife was more than enough to bring down the already injured mage. Dancer 1 Moves to D19 and dances for Mage 5 Mage 5 Moves to C14 and attacks Belros Belros, still asleep, is knocked unconscious by a strong gust of wind courtesy of the mage. The magic strikes, and Darius nods off into a slumber. Dancer 4 Moves to D12 and dances for Troubadour 1 Troubadour 1 Moves to D9 and uses Sleep on Idei The troubadour tries to block off the corridor even further, but the horseman is unaffected by the magic, causing the troubadour to flee. Dancer 3 Moves to H14 and dances for Knight 13 Knight 13 Moves to D13 Knight 7 Moves to G13 Dancer 2 Moves to H11 and dances for Knight 14 Troubadour 2 Moves to E9 and casts Befuddle on Idei The troubadour manages to hit Idei with the orb of magic, confusing him by a great deal. Mage 4 Moves to D10 and attacks Idei Seeing the now befuddled horseman, the mage moves to strike, but quickly realizes that the troub's magic did not improve his chances to hit his target. Idei meanwhile, spurred by the situation, dispatched the mage in two quick shots. [Ally Phase] "My work for now is done...I'll leave the rest to you all," Madante moans before he collapses from his injuries. "You two better pull this off..." Helena croaks as she looks towards Idei and Cass before blacking out. Turn 8 Cass Heals for 11 HP Karik Heals for 3 HP Emilee Heals for 4 HP Cheat Sheet:

  10. "Well in fairness, I wasn't expecting to ferry a horse through a desert. I will admit it reminds me of the past somewhat though," Ecquis mentions, reminded of his time ferrying merchants through the desert. "Regardless, you could use some patching up, so I'll let our healer see to you. And mind that bolting magic, a stray hit could prove dangerous," Ecquis warns Renee as he drops her and her horse off in front of Maya and looks towards Cherry. "Cherry, mind your distance from that bolting magic. It's a heavy hitter. That being said, you did a fine job of evading it, but still be cautious," Ecquis warns the scavenger before deciding to see whether or not Cherry's earlier comments before the fight were accurate. Move to H13, drop off Renee on I13, canto to G17
  11. "I'll do my best to hold them off for as long as possible. We'll be fine until you get back," Madante tried to reassure Cass with a halfhearted grin as he readied his sword. "As much as I'd like to not die, I doubt I can stay up for very much longer. All I'll say is that if you can't make something work after paving the way, I'll haunt you both from the grave," Helena laughs, coughing up some blood halfway through.

  13. [Enemy Phase] Scavenger 3 Moves to J3 and attacks Clarisse Moving forward, the Scavenger uses his dark magic to strike Clarisse. Not only does it connect, but it causes Clarisse to go berserk, swinging her weapon around wildly. Dancer 5 Moves to L3 and dances for Scavenger 3 Scavenger 5 Moves to N4 Null Knight 1 Moves to J3 Scavenger 4 Moves to K2 Thief 3 Moves to K1 Knight 12 Moves to F13 Dancer 4 Moves to H13 and dances for Knight 12 Knight 12 Moves to D13 and attacks Belros Moving forward, the knight lands a hefty blow onto Belros. This causes his first counterattack to miss, but he lands the second strike, only to have the knight shrug it off. The knight does show signs of poisoning after the blow however. Troubadour 1 Moves to G14 and casts sleep on Belros The troubadour launches an orb of Sleep magic towards Belros, who despite being protected, still succumbed to the magic. Dancer 3 Moves to I14 and dances for Troubadour 1 Troubadour 1 Moves to B13 and casts Sleep on Cass The troub's second attempt at putting enemies to sleep was unsuccessful, as Cass shrugged off the orb of sleep magic. Mage 4 Moves to G11 Dancer 2 Moves to I11 and dances for Mage 4 Mage 4 Moves to E14 and attacks Cass The mage's thunderstorm hits Cass, doing a noticeable amount of damage. Knight 7 Moves to J12 Troubadour 2 Moves to J13 Dancer 6 Moves to L13 and dances for Troubadour 2 Troubadour 2 Moves to E15 and attacks Helena with Poison Hand Having received a boost, the troubadour rides forward and tosses their axes at Helena, who is unable to counter and takes a significant amount of damage. Mage 5 Moves to D18 and attacks Madante Moving forward to trap the party, the mage strikes Madante, who uses his magical sword to fight back. The earlier protection Madante had kept the damage low, but Madante's blow did little to the mage. Knight 11 Moves to R3 Priest 1 Heals Null Knight 1 Knight 6 Moves to E19 Scavenger 6 Moves to D20 Null Knight 6 Moves to E23 Dancer 1 Moves to D23 and dances for Null Knight 6 Null Knight 6 Moves to E20 Reinforcements arrive on (5, 2) I15 and I10 [Ally Phase] Madante's Grace wears off fully Helena takes 5 damage from poison "Just great, we're surrounded," Helena groans, as the poison and the earlier axes severely wounded her. "We need to get out of here fast or we're not getting out at all" Helena Attacks Knight 12 with Meteor Helena's Meteor manages to strike its target, severely injuring the knight, but not killing him. "This is bad, but I won't rest until we are safe" Madante Moves to D17 and attacks Mage 5 Madante, no longer protected, misses his strike against the mage, who counters with a gust of wind, injuring Madante. Turn 7 [Player Phase] Belros is Befuddled no more! Belros' Grace wears off fully Karik Heals for 3 HP Cass Heals for 11 HP Clarisse Attacks Emilee In a fit of rage, Clarisse swings at the nearest person, which unfortunately was Emilee. Though she tried to guard herself, the hammer blow was devastating, taking her down in a single blow. Clarisse then finally comes to her senses. [Player Phase Continues] Cheat Sheet:
  14. "This again," Ritsu sighs, not really wanting to have to deal with more of these spears. Nevertheless, she decides to put her attentions on tending to some of the injured. Restoration on Magnum to heal [1d4+ 8 INT] health and one status ailment if present Ritsu Stats:
  15. "Glad to see that you've decided to join us," Ecquis told Renee as he moved forward. "Though taking a quick glance, being near this many enemies could be problematic. Let me move you and your horse out of the immediate line of fire," Ecquis states. Though getting a horse on a wyvern was a tricky stunt, once settled Ecquis moved the two out of the immediate range of the enemy. Move to E13, rescue Renee, canto to H12
  16. "That went better than expected, though that's no excuse to get lazy," Ritsu mutters having taken marginal damage from the spear. With her chainsaw at the ready, she decides to strike him with her chainsaw. Bleeding Blade on Cu [3d4 + 9STR + 1d6 damage and inflicts bleed (1d4+STR bleed damage) for 3 turns.   18. Myrdwyn tries to strike the knight with her lance, but he manages to evade the blow. However, Myrdwyn's possession of a flying mount made the knight unable to connect his counterattack. Cheat Sheet:

  20. Refusing to miss yet again, Karik's hatchet toss hit it's mark, taking down the already injured knight and breaking apart the line of knights. Cheat Sheet:
  21. Revving up her chainsaw again, Ritsu looks about the field. Seeing Berserker's charging attack, she decides that a defensive option is a bit better. [Basic Defense, taking 1/2 damage from all sources next round] Ritsu Stats:
  22. One more shot was all that was needed to take down the already injured knight, breaking the line even further. Cheat Sheet:
  23. "I appreciate the aid. As for curses, I don't specifically have any in the normal sense. However, one can hope that debilitation in some way can mimic the effects of a curse enough. One way to find out," Ritsu tells Edmond as she revs up her chainsaw and readies her tail to give Berserker a little shock.
