Praise The Sun... and Moon - Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon
Masquerain replied to Godot's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
Well yeah, I mean it's already known to be fake, but thought I'd put it out there for the concept of those battles 'cause they sounded interesting to a degree (but lolwindtype and lolplant type.. metal type? that part makes no sense whatsoever) Probably throwing it out there for the sake of some discussion to keep us busy till thursday None of these battles would ever happen cause they involve too many weird rules and all but wellp, I'd still like to see genuine underwater battles and some more realism to battling in the middle of the sea -
Speaking of exams, well let me share your joy, friend. Mine ended as well! And now I can get back to playing Luxray's also been one of my favorite sinnoh 'mon and I used it in literally 99% of my playthroughs (except random challenge runs with le Dash that forbade it) Even if I'd want quaggy to win this poll, I'll be plenty happy with a megalux as well

Good times, good times. It's annoying indeed, but I appreciate their efforts to remedy bits of "pokemon logic" It was also nice that the "small tree" evolved into a thorny bush so it makes sense you cant just go over it without cutting it down (still no sense that you can't use an alternative to cut but hey) -

Well it sounds hella more realistic than being able to fight underwater with your charizard.. other fire types or just about any pokeman that should not be able to breathe long underwater -

Have a random fakeleak just for the hell of it.. I mean the concept is interesting to a certain degree but they lost me at "wind type" -
Pokemon XY and XY&Z. Did the Pokemon Anime get better?
Masquerain replied to ArmoredGuardian's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
Yea at this point I think it's going to be Goodra because there's no time for Ash to catch a random new 6th and bond enough with it/train enough with it like usually happens with all his pokemanz.. and I don't see him getting anything from Oak for this league but who knows There is something I heard about the upcoming ep..or eps and about pikachu. I'm far more interested to see how that rumor plays out if it's true than seeing yet another ashfrog fight (ofc that will be there too) P.S. some new ep titles have been announced and apparently we're seeing a megazard showdown. I'm going to hope Alain loses that one because then at least zard x would have lost to something worthy like a zard y instead of the inevitable ashfrog... The other title says mega sceptile vs raichu.. is ash finally evolving his pikachu???? no? ok That's a weird matchup but hey.. at least it means we get to see another cool raichu in action Another edit: In light of the newest announced titles , the "preview info" provided here makes it seem incredibly lame, also for anyone interested to view dem preview spoilers Like... wow I never would have guessed that it'd play out this way.. totally not ... :[keepitclean]: -
Pokemon XY and XY&Z. Did the Pokemon Anime get better?
Masquerain replied to ArmoredGuardian's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
Because it's ALL about it. I grow to get annoyed and dislike when something is too centric around only a single char/pokemon... I'll give them credit for improved execution of scenes and overall anime stuff but not for the content of the arc.. It's only gonna be worse (yet funny) when Ash is done with Kalos and ditches all his pokemon at Oak's again , including this asspulled ashfrog that he spent so much time spamming only to ditch it when he goes for Alola -
Pokemon XY and XY&Z. Did the Pokemon Anime get better?
Masquerain replied to ArmoredGuardian's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
It's more like Ash decided "WE NID TO DO DIS TOGETHA" and then the shuriken magically happens because they suddenly are on the same length or someshet But yeah, he's definitely gonna spam it. Vs wulfric, vs team Flehhhhhhd, in the league (I bet he's even gonna fight Alain again just for them to show Ashfrog can rek everything) -
Pokemon XY and XY&Z. Did the Pokemon Anime get better?
Masquerain replied to ArmoredGuardian's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
Not really but enough to understand the gist of it .. and yeah, it depends on your standards and how you take it. But I don't see how any of that classifies as anything special enough to get the title of "best episode ever" Personally, I could name at least 5 other more special or emotional eps I've seen from the entirety of the anime.. But there are a lot of ashfrog fanbois and fangrills out there, they tend to exaggerate hardcore. I'd personally be more excited about the upcoming gym rematch lol at wulfric's 3rd 'mon rip in peace freezedry -

I suppose it depends on your standards. For me it was a mere cliche.. To claim this as the single best episode in pokemon history is ludicrous -
Pls no, don't want another hulkpert but it's not like it's winning anyway
-
Yes, embrace the quaggy cult ..though I hope a mega quaggy wouldn't turn into a blob..

tis a -Lord- for a reason May it rise to the glory it deserves! ... Well, by sheer coincidence, I picked up a wooper (now quaggy) in my current Desolation run

fangame Verdant Tales: Symphonic Horizon
Masquerain replied to Dylanrockin's topic in Fan-game Exposé
Because the landscapes look nice anyway. Just 'cause it's older doesn't mean it's worse ;x -
After the mega mightyena, I have to give my support to poor ol' Morlord (quaggy) .. even though I'd like to see a mega lux too

If you had to match each Protagonist with a specific starter...
Masquerain replied to Bazaro's topic in Reborn City
Charmander for Vero Fennekin for Alice Mudkip, Froakie, Chimchar or Totodile for Kuro Treecko or Cyndaquil for Lucia Oshawott or Chespin for Decibel Torchic for Ari -
Personally I don't condone cheating, but it's up to people to decide what they wanna do with the games they play. If they find any fun in getting everything readily made for them on a silver platter, wellp, good for them. I myself only ever resort to "inserting" a pokemon in my savefile (and usually staff members do it) if I'm doing a monotype run and there's a lack of said type before 1st gym or among starters. Otherwise, I'd never even consider cheating in any way and I'd play a game like Reborn the way it was intended to be played, using rare candies where the game gives you rare candies, using the available 'mon, TMs and grinding where it's needed. And if I want IVs/ability, reset until I get something I'm fine with

Pokemon XY and XY&Z. Did the Pokemon Anime get better?
Masquerain replied to ArmoredGuardian's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
I'm not gonna hate on the concept itself. I'm gonna hate on the fact that it gets asspulled into a place and time where mega-evolution is JUST being introduced..and then out comes a frog that puts every mega to shame because it'd be invincible and 1-2shot megas if Ash wouldn't collapse Let's not even mention that supposedly Ash became closer to his frog than his own starter, which further makes this thing ass-pulled just because frogs had to shine somehow -

That's the news we were referring to It's entirely possible that corocoro provides different info than the ?probably? new trailer we'll see next week ( i mean it's probably a trailer if they announced times for it again) I'm still undecided on starters, but I decisively dislike popplio . I will also hope until the end that the types of the final evos are less boring than fireground and waterfighting (yes, we don't have a lot of them but eh, they're not what I hoped for) People were saying that Litten's patterns look like that of a sand cat.. so that could further support the fireground evo possibility... eh.. Oh well, Whatever happens, I'll choose a starter when I see the final evos. But until then, It's a tie between LittOwl -

Was mentioned by a npc something like "I hear that somewhere in the world, there's a waterfall that flows upwards" Might be in couriway, but don't quite remember. Hawaii has those though, so we might just see it also the frontier logic is so bad.... "to not get bored and frustrated" >introduces battle mansion that is boring and annoying as f :| and yeah things like following pokemon, difficulty mode, seasons, customization are fan favorites but they haven't seen a return to more than a game (tho customization is hinted for SM) .. we won't see following pokemon in SM, nor seasons, probably no difficulty mode either. Frontiers are one of the most diverse and interesting constructions though.. it's illogical
