  1. You'll have to wait in line for that. Also, don't care what you do just as long as you don't touch Henry's (Poke) Balls.
  2. I was going to call him Glitch, but I didn't want Henry and him to share the same nickname. I kind of picked that name do to all the things he can do with technology (he's also an infinite power supply/generator). It sounded weird at first, but I like it.
  3. You know, it really hasn't even been that long, but I'm kind of getting attached to Techie. Also, James walked right into that one.
  4. "All he really likes doing is pissing people off, but if you insist." Henry sent the Rotom back out. "Alright you...thingy...I'm just going to call you Techie just to make things easier. Techie, welcome aboard the team. Being your new trainer, I command you to shock that boy over there, again." He watched the Rotom float back over to James again and poked him one more time to give him a nice jolt feeling again.
  5. "Do you know how much of a pain in the ass this thing is going to...HEY! Get back here!" Henry noticed the Rotom looking at a TV screen showing the battle. The Rotom was going to ignore him when he remembered about that Togepi. He made his way back floating right next to his trainer. "Thanks to this thing, I need to get a new TV and a new window. The only thing keeping him from completely trashing my room is this Poke Ball right here. Normally, I'd just release it back into the wild, but then we'd just be going through this song and dance again." While this was going on, the Rotom was impersonating Henry by pretending to speak with a grouchy looking face. The boy caught on and turned to see this little show. Henry glared at him a minute before beaming him into the Poke Ball. "Well, at least it's rare. I might be able to get something nice out of trading this pest away."
  6. Faust, I generally look at Pokemon battling as a bit of entertainment and when you think about it, a Pokemon is going to get the living hell knocked out of them again and again. There's also the fact I usually refer to intelligent as the brightest of the bright which is why I often use smart instead. A smart Pokemon could still be willing to battle, but think about Pokemon battles like wrestling. You don't see very many people with IQs of 130-150 out there for good reasons (because there are better options for them). I'm sure there's probably a conflict of opinions because I view things one way and you view things the other. By the way, I don't mind when a character does something stupid. We all do stupid things at one point or another It just shows we're human and it can be entertaining.
  7. Wait a minute. Henry thought to himself. If this is enough trouble when it was wild...I really don't want to know what it'd be like around this. "Nevermind about that. Just tell me how much you know about this...thing." Henry released the Rotom out of its Poke Ball causing Henry's other Pokemon to panic a bit. The Rotom was a bit puzzled, but he noticed James rather quickly. He flew right over to the boy and tapped him with one of his "hands" giving him a quick jolt.
  8. That's fine. I'm pretty busy today anyways (and I can always do homework and stuff while I wait). Zerron, I'm really surprised you're going for two intelligent Pokemon. I know I had Henry reference it someone, but the smarter a Pokemon is, the more dangerous it is. They are always the ones who question things and those questions lead to distrust.
  9. After the Smash Bros Amiibo, I'm done. I would say I'm done right now, but at this point I already have most of them excluding Ike, Dedede, Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, Pitt, and Lucario. If they remake Villager and Pitt, I'll buy them, but I'm not gonna spend a lot of money to get one. Rosalina is the only one I paid $25 for on Ebay only because it looks really, really nice. Hopefully, Ike and Dedede will eventually hit shelves and I can find one of each. Edit: In other news, Greninja will be available for in-store Pre-order April 23 at Toys R Us. Sigh...looks like I'll have to waste another hour and a half driving there and waiting in line. So tempted to just say screw you on the ninja.
  10. As Henry made his way into the stadium, he finally managed to find James sitting in the waiting room. "Hey, Ghost boy. Come here for a minute. I have something for you that you might like," Henry spoke while picking up the Rotom's Poke Ball holding it with quite a tight grip on it.
  11. I see you guys talking about the age range...I don't exactly know what Henry's Pokemon age range would be. Rosie would probably be in the mid 20s, but a child at heart, Gypsy I'm just going to keep a mystery because I really don't think anyone but Gypsy would honestly know or be able to figure it out, Burrows would be around 18, Zuko practically was about the same age as Henry if anyone was curious, and Paradox is probably 5 or 6, but she acts like a big baby. Rotom is another mystery card because ghosts can technically live forever and maturity and ghosts don't always mix. I'd probably say he'd been living for 13 years more or less, but everything else about this one is another mystery untold. Most of the future Pokemon will be Young Adults or Teens. Rosie's probably going to be the oldest though. I really don't think of age when making the character as I tend to start with stuff more around personality and maturity which can be the same regardless of age. And Dobby, I have a couple ideas what you would use on Starmie (confuse ray possibly), but I have a feeling you're more focused on making its moves visually appealing compared to battling. T-wave is probably out because of T-bolt so maybe Magic Coat. I can't really tell because there is more than one way to effectively use a Starmie (similar to some other Pokemon). Edit: Here's Rotom's info (will post in the character profile as well. Been a long while since I did one). And yes, he has 4 status moves because a) he doesn't learn anything through breeding and there is practically nothing else I want to put there since I don't want him having TM moves
  12. Yeah, my team is rather finalized especially with the main six (considering I already know who I'm going to be using as the sixth). The only thing that could change is Cherrim instead of Lilligant (though I'll probably still use Lilly) and Gallade/Machamp depending on what Murdoc chooses to evolve his Ralts into. Blastoise and Glaceon are set in stone. BTW, Henry doesn't have a specific team of six, but certain sets of teams which he'll circulate around quite a bit.
  13. If anyone of you guys want Greninja, good luck. I mean good luck because pre-orders were gone at 3:30 AM (just when I went to bed). I got my Robin and Lucina so I'm happy, but I'm not going after Greninja if it's gonna be that kind of hell (I don't really even care for that 'mon anyways).
  14. Azery, btw, I'm actually dropping Magmortar off of Henry's team so if you want him you can have him. And no, I'm not taking Camerupt or Macargo so those two are free if you or anyone wants them.
  15. So that Greninja Amiibo, I went to Toys R Us and they said they didn't have any pre-orders. Okay, this is getting a bit ridiculous.

    1. K_H

      K_H

It gets worse; they sold out 30 minutes after it hit the shelves.

  16. You know, I'm really surprised the mother didn't have a recording of laughter when she fell to her death. Man, it's been a long time since I've seen that movie.
  17. April 15: The day I will spend two hours online playing as Mewtwo for the sole purpose of rubbing it in people's faces.

    1. HorizonLog

      HorizonLog

Wouldn't be as depressing if you haven't got any practice with mewtwo to make your opponents cry.

  18. I actually voted for Roy because Melee nostalgia. I mean while we didn't get his game, he was basically the son of a character from the first Fire Emblem we got. Actually, I'd like to see characters like Paper Mario, Snake, and Micaiah. As for Xenoblade, I'm happy with Dunban being a suit for the Mii. While I think Xenoblade is fantastic, it really doesn't need much more attention. Zael would be kind of cool because I really do like the Last Story and it certainly needs more love considering the amazon prices for the game.
  19. Well, Rosie was basically given to Henry by an Elderly couple because he babysat it to the point it was quite attached to him. Basically Erce is the only starter who's backstory really hasn't been shined on yet.
  20. Middle of the next chapter tbh. A lot of people are going to be running three, Henry will almost be at the four with Paradox being trained, so you might want to wait a bit longer until people start adding the fifth. The only reason I'd get one earlier is if you want it to start very weak and have more time to build the character, like Rotom for me. Also, do you really think Henry would be so willing to give you THAT thing considering how Shade acts?
  21. Hopefully, I'll be updating tomorrow (usually, I'll do it on Tuesdays and Thursdays), but I was actually pretty busy today up until Sunday. I know for sure the update will be up on Sunday, but I'll try to get it in as soon as possible.
  22. BTW, Paradox used Metronome - Strength if your wondering what happened inside of Henry's room. I guess you can piece the rest together (technically she did follow his instructions of bring the Rotom outside).
  23. When going up to purchase all those Poke Balls, the cashier gave him a strange look, but rung them up letting the boy purchase them. Henry stuffed the large load into his back before making his way back towards the rooms. When they go closer, Henry bent over to Paradox mumbling something which she acknowledged. The little Togepi split ways by heading into the building while Henry and the other walked around to the side. Meanwhile, back in Henry's room, the Rotom was enjoying a nice nap sleeping to the sound of loud heavy metal music. This was disrupted when the cries of a Togepi. He couldn't help but laugh of the site of this. This is all the boy had for a comeback. He would've expected more out of a trainer. Quickly he shifted the TV to a channel where a man sitting on a chair yelled, "Come at me, bro." Back outside, Henry was looking over at the window. What is taking Paradox so long? How hard could it be to get a Rotom outside? Suddenly, he heard the window shatter and watched as a TV flew across the field slamming into the tree. The Rotom, now terrified, quickly retreated from the TV finding himself face to face with Henry. Without thinking of the previous situation, Henry pulled off his backpack and dumped all the Poke Balls onto the ground. He picked one up and flung it at the ghost. The Rotom dodged the ball easily and stuck his tongue out at the pathetic attempt when another one nailed him straight on. Gypsy, using her Physic powers, had picked up a ball and tossed it at him. He broke out of the device rather easily only to be shot into another one thrown by Burrows. He then broke out of that and many others again and again. When only two Poke balls remained, the Rotom had enough. He broke out of the ball and fell to the ground. He waved his arm back and forth acting as if a white flag was in his hand. "Alright, I think he's had enough. I doubt he'll be bothering...Burrows what are you doing?" While Henry was done, Burrows wanted to make sure to get the last word on this sucker. He picked up one of the remaining Poke Balls and carefully aimed it at the fallen prey. He watched the ghost get beamed in and the ball shook once...twice...three times and clicked. Henry, Gypsy, and Rosie then glared at the Drilbur. "Good going, Drilbur. Now I have to figure out what to do with this thing. Burrows griped a few words at Henry which the boy seemed to understand. "As much as I want to, we can't keep him in that ball forever. Maybe I can con James into taking it from me. He seems to like these kind of things." Henry was about to pick up the Rotom's Poke Ball when he noticed Paradox in the window. He remembered the broken glass below and quickly pulled out Paradox's Poke Ball struggling to keep it in his hand and beamed the Pokemon over to safety in its capsule. With that out of the way, he picked up the Rotom's Poke Ball and made his way back to the stadium searching for the ghost lover.
  24. Whelp, I have the main six taken care of. I don't care if everything including Ness is easy to find, I don't want to go through that drama again (I might have to for Jigglypuff). I'll try to get Greninja tomorrow in-store. If I can't, oh well.
  25. Nope, Magmortar wouldn't get air lens because that's some anime bs combined with slight powerplaying (and I had no idea what it was until now). Since it is a pseudo ability, I couldn't use it but I know mine will run Flame Body.
