  1. Jory looked up and saw the arrows heading toward his team. He looked at Neffi and Oliver. "Oliver, you're quick enough! Get out of the way! I'll give you orders from here. Neffi, protect us!" Oliver's eye glinted and he adroitly scampered away, looking nervously back at his trainer. Neffi once again projected her shield, bracing herself strongly against the ground as the arrows drew nearer.
  2. Too late to matter, but a very close 1-0 victory over PWB.
  3. A list that I'm considering: Flygon (starter plz no takerino the male) Accelgor Tropius Manectric Lopunny Dewgong Krookodile Ninetales Florges
  4. Hukuna, use basic English writing format. Whenever someone new begins speaking, make a new line. I'm not reading that paragraph like that. EDIT: Okay, that was a bit rude. I read the paragraph and am waiting to respond.
  5. The only thing that I 100% absolutely want is to start with a Trapinch.
  6. Drug'thok looked carefully around the table. He was quite surprised to see another half-Orc in the room, although his radiant energy was not that of an Evoker, like Duncan's was. It was more gentle and seemed to carry a siren's call, urging magical energies toward him. Fascinating. I'll have to make a point of introducing myself, he considered thoughtfully. Dru had selected his seat specifically to be involved in this discussion, as he knew that he could provide the most valuable magical expertise of anyone else in his group. "I call this meeting now open. Now, would our guests like to restate the reason we are all gathered here today?" Duncan said, looking toward the heroes for an answer. The sorcerer looked to the other members of his group. Although they all shared the same knowledge of the events, Dru believed he was capable of providing the council with a more magical point of view. As such, he stood, and made eye contact with each caster at the table. He then took a deep breath and began. "Firstly, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Drug'thok Grunara, known by some as Earth-Shaker and Stone-Caller. And the news we bear is most certain to darken all of your moods." He paused, allowing the gravity of his statement to sink in. "Several weeks ago, we all individually found our way to Brinestar. Shortly after we all arrived, the town came under attack by fel creatures. After dispatching the brunt of the grunts, we were assaulted by The Gentleman. And he... He was like nothing I'd ever seen. When I say that his power seems to be unrivaled in all of Graterras, I do not speak lightly. With scarcely a flick of his wrist he was able to defeat even our strongest warriors. His armor seemed to be the source of this unimaginable power. Thus, when we arrived at the tower and Duncan was informed of our tale, I was unsurprised- although quite disturbed- to hear that he, a being seemingly of pure evil, had acquired a relic of divine origin. This armor is the Plate of Hatred, and I believe I speak for everyone present when I acknowledge that this evil presents an unparalleled level of danger to Graterras the likes of which has not been seen for centuries." Dru gulped and looked around at all present, then took his seat once more.
  7. Yes! 1- Their culture seems to revolve around strength. How is their society structured? Do all males have an equal say? Is there a chieftain? Does strength play into their politics? 2- How are children treated in Gruul society? Are they trained rigorously or expected to develop independently? 3- In terms of appearance, how does the lineage of a Gruul affect him/her? Does he/she inherit the father's color or the mother's? Are there specific dominant/recessive alleles that determine color?
  8. You could also just use photobucket since prtscr will only leave it up for a week or so.
  9. I don't know much about League. That being said, when I play Veigar I rush DFG and it works REALLY well early-midgame. Lets you give the boot to other AP Mids.
  10. I'd like to see her get to Lux faster than light But I digress. Let's get on with the story.
  11. Dru looked at the man, his curiosity piqued by the sheer magnitude of magical energy emanating from him. It was clear that this man was no ordinary wizard. He had some form of natural attunement to magic, which made the half-Orc feel much more comfortable in his company.Wizards get so stuffy. But sorcerers? We're all about magical spontaneity. The sorcerer smiled at Duncan. Here was a kindred spirit, someone who understood his abilities. He was barely able to rein in his excitement, waiting for one of the others to speak up first, as Dru knew that once he began talking to Duncan the subject would be that of magic, and not of their journey.
  12. Part of Lux's character is his being very perceptive. It goes along with the whole "Light" theme (light reveals all blah blah).
  13. 1. Yes. 2. Team Pandemic 3. As far as I know there hasn't been a Fairy-type, Normal-type, Flying-type, Grass-type, or Rock-type. That being said, those types tend to be underpowered. 4. Playing as a student 5. You meant question 4. And I don't really care, lol. 6. Is there a system in place to keep everything neat as far as chronological order goes?
  14. Jory grinned as he saw Clint charging across the battlefield on Pimparella's back. Talk about a distraction, the cadet thought to himself as he finished bandaging the technician's wound. It was a shoddy job, but it would control the blood loss until someone actually trained to handle a situation like that could do so. He had her sidearm, though, so that was a plus. Now if only I could get on Sampson and get in closer... The cadet smacked himself on the forehead. Forgot to get Sampson from the med wing. If I ever needed to ride something into battle, now would have been that time, he lamented. Instead, he turned to Neffi and Oliver. "Alright guys, we're going to be moving cover to cover. We should be able to move quickly since they'll be focused on Clint. Let's go!" he ordered. With that, he began to run after Clint, his GAOs in tow as he progressed up the tarmac.
  15. Lux nodded at Beverly's statement. "She's right. All I have here are the clothes I was caught running in. Cedric, I'm going to need to ask you for some funds so that we can maintain our appearances. It's for the mission, obviously," Lux said with a gleam in his eye. As long as they were going to a party, Lux was going to roll through in style. He then turned and addressed Beverly as she was leaving the room. "Aren't you going to need money for your new clothing? We haven't even given you any yet. And don't say you're going to use your powers. We need to keep a low profile if we don't want to catch the government's attention during this mission."
  16. Jory reacted quickly to the hail of gunfire, dropping into a prone position and pressing the button on Neffi's capsule. "Neffi, protect us!" he ordered. The GAO complied, releasing a loud battlecry as she took a defensive stance. A bluish green barrier appeared around the cadets, bullets pinging harmlessly off of the energy field. "Get to cover, now!" the cadet roared at Clint, springing up, scooping his GAO off the ground, and sprinting for the nearest cover, the same as the injured technician. Jory took a glance over the cover and released Oliver from his capsule. The two GAOs crouched behind cover next to Jory as he examined the technician's wounds. "You're losing a lot of blood. Get pressure on that wound. We'll handle the intruders."
  17. Yeah, a true elitist EVs for threats, not to have maxed out stats.
  18. Jory walked up next to Clint and nodded to the other trainer. "I'll stick with you. When we see this thing, let's give it all we've got!" the younger man said, grabbing Neffi and Oliver's capsules off his belt.
  19. If anyone sees Misora, tell him/her to PM me.
  20. Jory continued slapping the Exeggutor's heads. The tree Pokemon yelled its own name plaintively, attempting to shake the smaller Pokemon off of itself. Suddenly, it seemed to have had enough. It shook its fronds more lightly, releasing a green powder into the air. As he darted around the Exeggutor's many faces, he began to feel sleepy. He then proceeded to fall off of the Pokemon and onto the ground near it, snoring gently in the middle of the battlefield.
  21. Jory stood up and walked over to Clint and Nathan. "Hey guys, mind if Kenny and I battle against you guys? It'll be good practice to fight with more than one trainer on each team." He looked over at Kenny and beckoned the other cadet over to the small group, anticipating a positive response.
