  1. I simply really like Absol, so couldn't bring myself to saying that... mmm. The only thing it can do is hit, like, really hard (having the same Attack stat as Garchomp). Other than that... Also while Ame wasn't shown to have Lopunny, it is hinted she has one - Lopunnite is in her office for a reason. Of course. You can cheese or cheat a little, but don't overdo it. I actually have two examples of that: a good and a bad one, while creating custom battle. The good one is giving Tyranitar Dragon Hammer, because it should be given to more Pokemon than just some palm tree or flying grass dinosaur, and Tyranitar is very dragon-like (plus learns lots of Dragon moves) The bad one is giving Haxorus Extreme Speed... the thing I regret to this very day. But this is Misty Terrain - one of the four "base" Fields. So they can stack with other special ones. Like, I've seen on a playthough that there was stacked Electric Terrain with Chess Field during Radomus' Gym Battle. Oh, I get it now. The thing is... I very rarely use these moves in competitive, only in Random Battles. And any experienced player knows how to deal with both Taunt and Encore. I always play on Set Mode, and I was giving just an potential counter. It's not the best one, but it can work. Excadrill and Mamoswine are difficult to deal with, and it synchronizate well with thier themes and personalities. Haxorus... exists just to be annihilated. Seriously, every single one of Fern's Pokemon is weak to ice (before Scizor evolved from Scyther) - that's even worse balancing than I did for Ame. Yes, there are some coverage moves, but I did those too. And Haxorus is quite frail, strong, fast, but frail. All the sources say it - in anime, manga and games (Pokedex entries). Whether that is fully true or not, that's debatable. But, if Victini wants, it helps - quite effectively This article is the summarization why I play competitive for fun, not for real. Also, admit it, while played correctly, one mediocre Pokemon can demolish entire team. This is hard, on Reborn mechanics, but I'd be laughing if that happened. Definitely a bug. On neither Fairy Tale Field or Starlight Arena it is said that Mold Breaker is boosted (or Wiki is incompleted) 6 Pokemon, with great synchronization, working perfectly on both Fields, with OP set-up... And you call it "easy" And here was I thinking I am a masochist. No offense, of course. But after recent plays of some Radical ROM Hacks, I think I'll pass on.
  2. It hurts... It really hurts, but I have to admit - you're right. I myself have admitted that this team is somewhat easy to exploit in the games. Maybe if I created a field which could power it-... hm, I think I've got an idea for my 6th Field (yes, I've - in the span of 10 days - created five of them; are they good? Depends on community view). Also, in game I gave her Mega Lopunny and Absol, because while normal Absol is just decent, normal Lopunny is useless. In games, of course - in lore I had Ame's Lopunny break one of thieves' spines with High Jump Kick, then demolish the others, even without the help of Adrienn and Oscar, who were literal feet away from her. Only half of team was Dark. All canon Champions with type specialities have at least 3 Pokemon with that type: Lance has 3 Dragon-types in Johto games (4 in HGSS rematch) Steven has 3 Steel-types Wallace has an entire Water team Alder has 3 Bug-types Iris has 3 Dragon-types Mustard has 3 Fighting-types Peony has an entire Steel team I know that the last two are fought after thier reigns, and thier teams are usually more balanced (emphasis on usually: Lance's entire team is weak to Rock prior to adding on Garchomp in the rematches - and then they asked how I won with Rollout Typhlosion). But I added that they can be repaired with "a bit illegal movesets" which aren't as rare in Pokemon as you think. Because... not every Pokemon has as wide coverage as Nidoking or Tyranitar. It is rumored it will be the battlefield of Elite Four Fantasia... because as of right now it is one of the two fields which aren't seen anywhere as of V18 (the other being, of course, New World Field) I do! As someone whose ace in the game (and in "lore" ("game", "anime" and "manga)) is Tyranitar (Sacronian in the "lore" part), I tend to run Sandstorm teams, as I did while playing some Gen V online metagame. And tell me... isn't there any better way to bully Ame than using weather which she hates the most- that's, uh, one way to suprise the player. Also both use Magical Seeds and have quite similiar effects. But... is this possible, to stack two unique Fields at once? I know you theorically can stack unique one and the elemental one (Electric/Grass/Psychic/Fairy) Or just give 'em all PULSE2... or bullshit and create completely custom EV sets, if you want to give them nightmares I still do... That 3276 EV Assasult Vest Mega Garchomp... The sounds of Solaris' piano still resonate within my brain. So much that I wasn't even amused by remix of that notes in Legends: Arceus, as I wasn't impressed - I've already had PTSD Are you sure you didn't mean Taunt? You know, the status move preventing other status moves from working? Encore makes the target repeat the last done move for a few turns. So, if something that walls Ninetales has a self-boosting move, and is locked in due to Encore, you're basically helping them (unless you decide to switch to something that has supereffective damage, but AI may not be that smart) A small price for salvation. But given Absol's fraility, even neutral hits will hurt. Anyone who had the unluck of facing that combo in the Gym Battle against Samson, or Gen V Ubers, knows how effective it is. But if the AI is dumb, that can be easily exploitable by - for example - using Trick/Switcheroo with Choice Specs Yeah, I admit on that one... but the legendaries given to her are, and I'll say it: just for added difficulty. As I don't believe none of them would work in lore: For me, Latias would work best with Saphira, because - as I've written like 3 times on this forum - Latias is a Latios' "sister" (usually, but other blood relationships exist), Saphira has siblings too. and she and Damian are pararells: final, Dragon Leaders of thier leagues, younger sibling is one of the Elite, mother is/was an OP Trainer, protective af, and more. And he has a Latios, so she could have a Latias. Victini is said to give thier "partners" an ability to always win, no matter what............. but for Ame it didn't work Lunala... admit it, she's there purely to make this battle more difficult However, that leaves Victini vulnerable for 1 turn. And do remember there are many ways to deal with boosted monsters: mainly Roar/Whirlwind, Haze and Destiny Bond. Quick message: Shadow Shield cannot be supressed nor ignored. So Mold Breaker doesn't work Definetly some hardcore one. We're basically stepping into pre-Angie Rejuvenation Insane Mode difficulty (and maybe post, I'm not a balancing expert). But I can already feel the thrill~ Though and though, this team is what her team would be if Reborn had a different difficulty modes, and this is Insane. The non-legendary theme is extremely good, both lore-wise and gameplay-wise, but the legendaries are bonkers. But the analysis, concept and preparations are great.
  3. It's been so long since I've played Insurgence that I might've forgotten some plot points. Also Insurgence is wild. Like... really wild. It completely defiles what mainline games are, and decides to just go full-manga with the plot. Which isn't bad, but my shock when I started the game, and then just few minutes in, and we have on-screen murders. I didn't expect that - as this was my first "16+" Pokemon game
  4. - This field lasts for five turns. Abilities Affected Overgrow, Clorophyll, Leaf Guard, Blaze, Solar Power, Flash Fire, Torrent, Rain Dish, Battle Bond, Hydration, Quick Feet, Guts, Snow Cloak and Ice Body are activated. Leaf Guard and Hydration raises user's Def and Sp. Def by two stages when activated. Unburden raises the user's Atk and Sp. Atk by two stages, when activated if its held item is used or lost. Shell Armor reduces damage from supereffective moves by x0.5, regardless of the effectiveness multiplier and cannot be ignored by moves or Abilities. Contrary has user's Atk and Sp. Atk stats swapped, respectively, with its Def and Sp. Def stats. Bulletproof has the user reflecting ball and bomb moves instead. Long Reach also boosts the power of the user's contact moves by x1.3. Solar Power also increases the user's Atk by x1.5 and won't damage the user in every turn when activated. Flash Fire raises user's Atk, Sp. Atk and Spd by two stages when activated and will have Fire moves ignore type resistances and abilities. Speed Boost also raises the user's Evasion and Accuracy by one stage. Iron Fist causes the power of affected punching moves to increase by x1.5 instead. Thick Fat raises the user's Def and Sp. Def by two stages and endures the hit in the first turn when entering the battle. Reckless prevents the user having damage taken and raises its Spd by one stage after using recoil moves. Magician heals the user HP by 1/6 and raises Sp. Atk by three stages, every time when it's activated. Intimidate lowers the target's attack by two stages and ignores the abilities (including when the target is with substitute) that prevents it from activating. Libero raises the user's Atk stat by x1.5. Pokémon with Rain Dish will regain 1/6 of its maximum HP at the end of each turn, when activated. Sheer Force doubles the power boost and has the user ignores abilities. Anticipation raises the user's Def and Sp. Def stats by x1.5. Water Absorb and Volt Absorb will restore the user's HP to max after being hit by Water and Electric moves respectively. Quick feet raises Atk stat by x1.5 when activated. Guts raises Def stat by x1.5 when activated. Synchronize raises user's stats in same way as the opponent does. Inner Focus has the user become immune to non-volatile status condtition. Snow Cloak raises the user's Def, Sp. Def and evasion by one stage. Ice Body restores its 1/4 of max HP at the end of each turn. Pixilate receives a x1.5 power boost. Note : This post is not final. I'm going to be absent for hours. So "The Fool" Field favors starter Pokemon... Makes sense, honestly. Very much sense. But this part: Seems too OP. But I might not understand. Is that all moves used by starters gain... some points in priority, or only moves that are signature to starters (like Elemental Hyper Beams, Volt Tackle, Partner Pikachu's and Partner Eevee's signature moves)?
  5. I was there thinking "Why Swampert? Water moves are weakened, and Charizard is immune to ground". Then I remembered that Mega X is part-Dragon, and doesn't have Levitate, so it's weak to Ground.
  6. On Dragon's Den, power of Water and Ice attacks are cut in half. And since Charizard X isn't weak to either of them... Unless it has Earthquake, then it's a different story
  7. My Tyranitar: All that... for a drop of blood?
  8. Long has it been since I've played Insurgence, but...
  9. Am I the only one on this forum that has no artistic talent whatsoever? Like-... Seriously?! I've tried, tried and tried... I guess that's something like in Pokemon battling - you need to have talent and prodigal skills. Awww... How sweet~ That's the way! But that's just my point of view
  10. For me, they're neutral. Also... Why everyone portray them as evil being? Y-yeah, they rebelled against Arceus, but Giratina is actually a peaceful Pokemon, minding thier own business and fighting everyone who dares to enter thier territory without "permission"
  11. Oh? Well, at least there is something to await
  12. I don't know what was harder: creating 3 Fields about 3 Gods which are similiar to each other yet different enough and all of them making sense... or editing and posting them here without any mixing and editing problems. Oh well...

  15. After reading the title, many of you probably thought: "Dear Lord, what is that guy up to this time...?" Well, I you thought the exact same sentence, do I have some news for ya! Because in this "series" I will talk about lords... three lords actually: Lord of Time, Lord of Space, and Lord of Antimatter. To honor the great success of a Pokemon game that is Legends: Arceus (probably the best canon game with main-line battle mechanics since B2/W2), I've decided to create and release THREE Fields that would work around those three aspects - controlled by three of Arceus' children (and don't force me to create the same triplets for Uxie, Azelf and Mespirit; that'd take too much time, and could be so similiar that-... but knowing myself, I'll eventually do it) Let's get this started, shall we? Time Dimension Field "Mysterious realm warps the time" General Effects Steel-type and Dragon-type moves increase in base power by x2 ("Dimension strenghtened the attack!") 16. And why do you think I've clarified this upfront? But the best scenario is to wait until Arc-PULSE is either Dark-neutral or Dark-weak.
  17. Hate to break the bubble, but that definetly won't happen: (Black Hole Eclipse is a boosted Dark Pulse: 160 BP * 1,5 * 4 = 960 BP) (this calcs are done purely to calculate that specific outcome, nothing more) And since Arc-PULSE will have much higher base stats, plus PULSE2, I don't think it will OHKO without any boosts to Special Attack
  18. But try NOT to do it when they're Dark-resistant (Dark, Fighting or Fairy type) Otherwise... they might resist the attack. Just wait until they transform into right type Assuming Arc-PULSE will have Multitype
  19. About the Trick Room... I've must missed it. And also... if the battle will be Doubles, that means it's gonna be easier because of the Seed making Pokemon easier to take out since the effect forces it to recharge. Plus, have you ever heard of Perish Trap? In Doubles, you just need to take out 4 Pokemon, leaving Hydreigon and Arceus, then safely switch in fast (or super bulky) Pokemon with Perish Song, then stall.Or bring in Shadow Tag Pokemon and have it use Protect as much as possible. Easier said than done, especially if Hydreigon has it's Black Hole Eclipse still. But manageble
  20. Oh yeah, Trick Room... I very rarely use this strategy - usually when someone else does it for me (like Radomus). I also think most of her team will be going to go around Speed reduction, so Trick Room will definetly counter it. The problem is that battle WILL be Singles, and there's no way to increase the duration of Room, We'll expirement on it,
  21. Actually, I do not know. The biggest threats in V19 will be Dragon Leader Saphira, PULSE Clawitzer and Meteor Leader/Mastermind Lin. As I have experience in battling on Dragon's Den, I might not have problems (DD Mega Tyranitar is incredibly effective there). But New World Field, hm... Silvally, due to RKS System changing types every turn, might (or not) be threating with it changing types every turn. But that's RNG, so I don't think it's my best candidate. The best way to weaken Lin is to... eliminate the field. However the only way to pernament destruction is using legendary-exclusive moves: Geomancy and Light that Burns the Sky. There is one other way however to do it though: Gravity + weather. On turn one, have Pokemon use Gravity, to transform the field into Starlight Arena. Then, either use weather move, or swap for Pokemon who has Drought/Drizzle/Sand Stream/Snow Warning. Depending on how those mechanics will work and what items your Pokemon will have, you're gonna have 4-8 turns without Field, which you could use for your benefit as I bet Lin's team is gonna be built around New World. Setting up, straight-up beat up, other preparations - so many options. The best option is when using this strategy you will use weather team, which has many benefits in that kind of strategy.
  22. Well, the number of those was so big that she lost her head because of it... Okay, I'll stop
  23. Stop. I almost got scolded by Amethyst for lots of dark jokes about her OC in Reborn. I'd suggest not pushing the line

Is this one of those mysterious easter eggs that game has been hiding from us?
