  1. Does Fern even have any? Or, better question... will he ever have any? Considering he's Reborn's most hated - both by community AND lorewise - the chances of him getting a gf are as low as... i can't find a funny analogy........ Just zero, ok! Unless he goes the same way as Plankton and marries a living computer, he won't have any children, let alone descendants
  2. That's what I meant: thier tombstones are on Beryl Cementery before arriving, and looking at them, they seem to be there for a long time. This could be a mindgame on Lin's part. Acting that she's dead, having Titania and protag let thier guard down, and focus on a Gym Match, then observe them and analyze their battle style (especially protag; which is the only one who could be a match for her; as the two defacto strongest Trainers in Reborn - Ame and Solaris - were seemingly no match for her) ...heh... Actually, in one of the "Spoiler" parts here...
  3. And what about a Steel-type Eevee, which is also a knight? I was thinking about some new Eeveelutions years ago, and somehow I created that idea. Also, some others did agree with me. The art is not mine, cuz my drawing and painting skills are as bad as Leon's sense of direction. Name: Knighteon (not the name of that specific one) Ability: Battle Armor/Steel Surge (Hidden) (creates a Steel Terrain; new mechanic) Stat spread: 95/65/130/65/110/60 or 65/95/130/60/110/65 Evolves by: trading while holding a Metal Coat But in my project it doesn't have that red "ponytail" on the helmet or.. anything red at all. Yet you could do with it anything you want.
  4. That's what I've been thinking too. Between Corey's suicide and Gym Battle with Shade, there isn't too big of a time gap - 1 full day at an absolute maximum. There is a chance Shade had prepared those earlier, in case protagonist arrived sooner than anticipated. Also... There are five screens in Shade's gym. But the fifth one-, isn't the same as the other: We don't see it in the initial visit; you need an special item you can get far later The screen doesn't show the actual incident, nor something that happened not so long ago or in future These are showing Elena and Elizabeth, "departuring" from thier husband and brother respectively (Corey, Sigmund). Thier death were confirmed far earlier, in the Beryl Cementery, if you look at the tombstones. But only later the causes of death are said: Elena was murdered by Sirius, and Elizabeth committed suicide, the cause bring mental illness. But I don't think the last one should really count, because it is an optional route, and Shade's dialogue is from the mainline plot. So we have 4 events, in which supposedly 2 of them end up in someone's death. So... we know what will happen Honestly, I'd be more surprised if Lin died there, considering to what feat is she capable of.
  5. Cain, cuz he got in the range of black hole... purely accidentally At least, I think that was an accident, as the primary target was PULSE Hypno. Plus, it has been shown Gardevoir feeling... more to Radomus that you think: In the interview, Radomus claimed that he'd met his true soulmate, and that's why he isn't intending to take another wife. Gardevoir, who also said that she has a soulmate, and she was looking forward to that one to propose to her, went completely silent. Later, she stopped the interview, calling Radomus "stupid" (I don't know if after that, Radomus actually knew what was going over her mind, or actually was oblivious... heh... pun not intended... to her declaration) In the Glass Workstation, after winning the 6vs30 gauntlet, while casting black hole, Gardevoir said exactly this: Implying this is something more that a mere crush. How strong this is? It's very hard to tell. In the Void Sequence, where there are shown events of the past and other things to note (like Kiki actually snapping), Gardevoir... was trying to accept the fact that Radomus and her can't be together. I don't remember the exact dialoque, but it went somewhere around like: "A human and a Pokemon? Together? We aren't living in Medieval Age!". She was trying to say to herself that the closest they will be to themselves is friendship. Yes, there is a theory that AT LEAST one of them is manipulating the other (Gardevoir trying to get Radomus' trust, Radomus acting like he cares about Gardevoir, but he knows the actual truth and keeps her in check, or both playing the same mindgame, like in chess), but as of V18, nothing is certain. It is said that the Gardevoir Lin used to send Samson/Ciel to the void, is actually Gossip one. Which is a likely theory, considering the one didn't say anything. And don't say "oh, it has casted black hole, so it has to be her", because... all Gardevoir can do it, according to Pokedex But we need to wait
  6. Maybe. As of right now, the only ones (I think) in the void are Samson/Ciel and Cain (and how did he land there? Did Gardevoir make an "oopsie" while being jealous over Zina?) Also, I too have an similar concept to that... sorta (HEAVY spoilers for "Pokemon Reborn: Adventures"): But that is just what this could look in my version. My version is by no means canon, meaning you shouldn't bring it up when talking about lore (but if you want, at least say it's just a fanfic)
  7. First of all, I wish I could rhyme like Shade does. Whenever he does that, it sounds so badass! Second of all, that means you either are or are not right. That depends on whenever "taken" refers to "killed/dead" or "taken" literally - like Shade took Corey's body (and most likely soul). I can see both options being true, but leaning more towards the first one. If that was the case, Lin WILL survive being split in pieces. But I do wonder who, or what, caused that. I think that might be Spacial Rend, or some energy caused her "mortal body" to be piece'd.
  8. Those who are older, and could travel between regions, may appear. Because I doubt we would see Venam or Erick in Reborn... they're younger than Heather, and we know that "Little Miss Elite Four" already had a problems because of her age and roaming freely. If it wasn't for her position... So, I don't say it's impossible, but the potential roster is limited.
  9. Either there or under Grand Stairway, in the place of first confrontation with Solaris. Because... There will be fight with Lin, in the New World Field... She accomplished her plan, but haven't quite finished it, so protag leaps into action, meets Lin and Arceus (Arc-PULSE) in the mysterious place which is basically the beginning of the end, and the battle occurs. Protag, obviously, wins, Lin is either destroyed or banished forever, then we become new Reborn Grand Champion. I, actually, have planned a quite different turn of events for the final battle, even before V19 was officially announced. But... I don't know if I want to say it
  10. That... everyone knows (at least those who reached that point of the plot) Actually... time was going naturally when MC entered with Radomus and Cain. Why? Because of the "keys" - both them and Citadel and connected to each other; when one brings all four keys atop of Citadel and opens the gates, apparently there is an unlimited power behind them, if we trust Solaris' and Elias' words. Maybe because of the "resonance" between the place and keys MC possessed then (Ruby and Amethyst) causing the time to flow normally, and have Adrienn be unfrozen. Unfortunately, our ol' good laws of psychics won't explain this phenomenon, and it will be unexplainable by common logic. It's something that we'll have to live with it
  11. Yes... and no. I might've sped up a bit too much and typed things before thrice-checking, but Adrienn did not age for the last 10 years. Yes, xe was frozen in time for the another 10 years, but I think in Rejuvenation it looks like this: chronologically: mid-40s biologically: mid-30s aesthetically: mid-20s Still impressive, though.
  12. Biologically Chronologically, Adrienn is in xer mid-thirties (mid-forties in Rejuvenation) And Solaris is at least 45 years old. We can assume that because Taka, his biological son, is in his early 20s'. Honestly, I doubt Solaris would have an affair with "random" women just to have an heir, while being young himself. Yes, according to Elias, his friend had been quite rebellious in the past, opposing his family's legacy and faith (just like Taka did, ironically). But after his parents were killed, and he murdered the murderer, he was changing; starting to understand and soon he "started following the path of the Lord". We can assume that Solaris was a "teenager", or young adult but that is less likely, while that incident happened, because: So Solaris was teenager at most while the tragedy in Alcantara family occurred. And since he became more rational, mature, and well-behaved, I doubt he would jump to bed almost instantly. So the Taka's birth happened some years later. Also, him being 45+ would make sense also from purely biological point of view, as his hair are graying. In addition to that, Elias, who is 10 years older than Solaris, meaning he is 55+, has white hair (well, they're platinium blonde, but still) Also... If Elias was older than that by a few years... then Luna could basically be his granddaughter.
  13. I didn't say it was any of your fault. I say that I've been misunderst by lots... I won't be making any excuses - I should just straight up say what I think. sighs... I guess I will not be another Shade or PuppetMaster, huh? Maybe that's for the better, as I prefer face-to-face confrontations than staying behind. What I meant to say was: even if you have the strongest team formed of strongest Pokemon, if you do not have any strategy, you may be defeated even by the weakest. And it's far and away from anime bullshit. Yes, in the anime and manga worlds Trainers have much more possibilities for the usage of moves, Abilities, natural terrains and fields, and the battles are more dynamic (Legends: Arceus actually leaned more toward that, but it's still not the same; but I guess that's because if the limits of game mechanics). But in the games, you can do that too. Actually, I've seen on YT playthrough where some guy plays Pokemon Reborn... with the level cap HALVED! That means: "if the current level cap in game is 50, my Pokemon cannot be over level 25". In the early game, that's wasn't impressive. But the further they got, the more interesting it got. True, a lot of times it was basically salting the opponent and exploiting weaknesses: in Battle of Agate, Solaris was defeated... With the combinatons of Sturdy + Counter/Reversal/Endeavor + Custap Berry... times many. Also... Do you remember 2014? When Worlds were won... by a Pachirisu? It was truly a pure master tactics on the Se Jun Park's behalf. That some mere Pika-clone defeated monsters of VGC like Garchomp, Hydreigon or Tyranitar... In words of Hoenn Elite Four Drake: "Superb, it should be said" So... Do y'all get it now? I didn't mean to cause conflict, just... be a bit more interesting, I think
  14. Oh! And if you closely, in Rejuvenation's VS sprite, she smiles. While in Reborn, she's in the very neutral mood
  15. There's a theory that the "one to two hours" (AKA 10 years) spent in the Citadel affected her much more than just average "time-andspace warp". Perhaps xer has attained eternal youth - that'd be nice. Immorality... Less probable, and less fun. Watching all around you die as you stay the same...
  16. There was a change in design, and she's more mature in Rejuvenation, but overall still looking fresh. Also, shoutout to Adrienn in Rejuvenation for not aging a bit while being in around the same age as Solaris was in Reborn (mid - late 40s). I think he is around that - I've spent quite some time seeking out the answer
  17. Devs are obvious. Marcello claimed that thier fight will be rather challenging: with one of them getting #1 in both Fieldless AI Tournaments. 10 years. I think... At least that's what one of the devs has said. Also, yeah, the characters in Reborn and Rejuvenation are on average... young. Like- I'll list all major characters in Reborn who are confirmed to be over 30: Corey Molinar Serra Voclain Radomus Vanhanen Adrienn Flores Sirius Solaris Alcantara Sigmund Connal Elias Hazel That's it, I've finished the list. Out of 43 major characters (49, if you include all the protagonists), only 8 have at least 30 years. To be fair, some of the characters don't have listed out even the borderlines of thier age, but in most cases, they look to be less than 30. I've actually written all the characters, reasonings and verdicts, but suddenly I was kicked out, and the progress was lost, and I don't want to spend another 2 hours on writing it. I'll simply write them down and describe them very shortly: Shade - he's a ghost with completely unknown past, so calculating the age is impossible Aster - young (and stupid); at most mid 20s' Eclipse - around the same as Aster; her father doesn't even look like a senile old man, but a bit ill middle aged adult Lin - uber enigma #1 Ame Liddell - uber enigma #2 Gossip Gardevoir - it's harder to calculate Pokemon's age rather than humans, because they don't grow and show the signs of aging as we do. And evolutions don't matter in that regard (like that very old Treecko in the anime, who was the seer of the younger Treeckos of the anime, and one of them joined Ash, and now he's a Sceptile). Sandy - just a side character, but it seems she should've had a greater role than she had as of right now. Also looks quite young, like really... and she's cute. Corin Rogue - like I said, just a side character; age wasn't disclosed in the slightest Alistasia - uber enigma #3, looks pretty John - he has never said anything about himself, other than the loyalty to his superiors and the desire to protect orphans
  18. By the way, what do you think? Will in the postgame be introduced some new, special characters; those canon ones or from other fanmade games? Or simply the same set as we've seen minus the dead? Because that might be interesting, and a start of many cool mini storylines
  19. Apparently, I can't do any creative projects without overanalyzing everything possible.

For the remake of my first project here, I've written over 1000 words describing... only one of Ame's Pokemon in the "in-game" team. Imagine how long it would've been describing others!

For the record, I did include "alternative" sets for that Pokemon - they won't have the stiff only-4-moves sets, but also they might have alternative moves for some cases, like when I couldn't decide what attacking move would work the best, so I gave a few of them in one slot so one could select which one is more useful overall.

I ain't a competitive expert - if so, I do it for fun. But I like watching False Swipe Gaming, which have taught me more about it. They also do that what I'm intending to do:

    Screenshot_20220213_151016.thumb.jpg.51f31b7fae49b41f42c477f303335bb5.jpg

In this potential set for "ES Killer" Arceus-Normal in Ubers thier of Gen 5 metagame, in the 3rd move they were given either one-turn medium-strong Shadow Claw, or very powerful yet two-turn Shadow Force. In the 4th... just whatever suited the most against metagame; whenever it is Psyhical, Special or Status move.

So I'll be doing it too; if having problems, just select a few options and comment them. So... Yeah, it's gonna be VERY long.

But you seem to like that kind of complicated shit. After all, it is forum of Pokemon Reborn... This fandom LOVES complicated shit. So I think it will be at least decent; definitely better than the previous one.

  20. Wha-... I, I just give you some quote; some inspirational sentence and tip described in an ancient manner... And somehow you started talking about Magikarp's moveset, the relationship between it and Giratina, and Mega Stones for E19 (which are basically every canon Mega which is not yet in game) ... Maybe I should stop saying things like a 200 year old druid.
  21. Baby Arceus....? Have I been sleeping under the rock? Canonically there IS one true Arceus. There's a theory that what we think is Arceus is actually just an image of the true being Arceus, or just one of thier thousand hands used to shape the known universe. But, if you think about it... There might be a chance that "baby Arceus" truly exists, at least in the Reborn universe. Remember events of the Citadel? Where Elias had his Ditto absorb the power and transform into Arceus, or should I say, carbon copy of them? What if...? But what if...? There indeed was a second Arceus, that "baby" version, which recently hatched from the egg, but wasn't as majestic, big or powerful as the original, yet thier power was too big for mere humans to comprehend. How did they come upon existing...? I'm afraid I cannot answer on that question. Was it Arceus sending his "child" to Earth? Or someone somehow got the glimpse of Alpha Pokemon's power/DNA/whatever and created "baby" like Team Rocket made Mewtwo from Mew's DNA? If that baby indeed exists, they may be the answer for many unknown variables, like... who is Lin actually, or how various characters got thier abilities to do various things (like Terra breaking the laws of psychics, or Anna seeing things others cannot) or who's controlling it all/pulling the strings...? To think the solution is so close, yet so far. Holy fuck, Amethyst and the rest did a fantastic job, having our emotions be held in check.
  22. Someone had to take this too literally, right?
  23. Okay, maybe not useless per-se... But definitely some plans are just plain bad. Like I said... Splitting up completely while two entire Wards are covered in wild and powerful vines of unknown origin? If they were working together, they at least might've reached PULSE (they must've had some Fire and Fighting Pokemon to deal with the obstacles - as those two types are some of the more commonly used by police). Yeah, the chances of defeating it, an Agent/Gym Leader and two Commanders would be almost zero, but hey - with a pinch of luck... If not for protagonist, all five policemen could die, not only Jacob. And maybe even more. Actually... I'm typing something again without thinking (but that's because I have enough of thinking for one day), but... how did they end up in that situation? As we know, 3 PULSE Tangrowths had been ruining Reborn City for hours. And - most likely - all three were activated at the same time (ZEL in Obsidia, Taka in Jasper, Corey in Beryl). There might be the chance that all of them were on patrol... but what are the chances? If so, shouldn't they focus more on Peridot; the Ward with the most recent terrorist attacks? This might sound stupid, but who've could predict that the next attacks would be actually there, and not somewhere else in the city? The policemen are usually seen where the incident with Meteors is happening or have happened, NOT before it will happen, so either they actually predicted the place, but not necessarily the timing, or they were truly unlucky. Or thier plan simply failed One does not need to be the strongest Trainer, but without correct strategy, might one own a Legend, one will fall even to most common of Magikarp.
