Consider my systems updated and fully functional. I have read the whole thread.

Honestly, I have reasons to think that the whole 5 bandwagons I saw are town. (Newt, Amine, Kiet, Arch....and someone I'm forgetting)

Amine initially said that he had the same information I had gotten. Considering Alistair didn't give us the number of mafia and third-parties, this is confidential information that mafia would most likely keep within their ranks. Hence, this is townread-worthy.

Newt's reaction to shooting Nicki does not sound planned nor forced, if looked at carefully. From the moment he said "I have someone in mind" for who he was shooting to "Oh fuck sorry", nothing there is forced.

Kiet used his ability to change to Bean, who I've seen people call "lynch-bait". There were better targets for him to change the lynch on if he was mafia, if he also thinks Bean is lynch-bait.

Arch mentioned he's bleeding. First and foremost, using our lynch on someone who's already going to die is futile, when we could focus our time on someone else we suspected. Second, causing people to bleed would be a mafia or third-party ability, if I'm not mistaken. Hence, him being targeted by such ability should clear him, if anything.

Oh, and Bok's town. I have no reason, but he's town.

Arch claimed to have been wounded tonight after visiting amine (whether thats because of amine's role or an unrelated event is unclear as he didn't say so), and he is currently tied with amine for the most votes,

but i think i can fix that, my vote on lia doesn't go anywhere today i can tell (and her softclaim tells me there is going to be info about her tomorrow either way), and the more i look at amine's last post the wierder it sounds to me, and he answers no questions posed to him, including about arch's wounding not even a simple "my role doesn't wound visitors" or something
[Unvote] Lia
[Eliminate] Amine

this will very likely stick unless amine has some very good answers

Amine claimed he was roleblocked. That means he has some sort of ability that's not passive, and people visiting him and bleeding is a passive ability.

For, all roles have only one ability until they unlock by a reveal, as you already know. Amine didn't make Arch bleed.

I am just clarifying the situation for newt on arch's claim, i personally think arch has just been shot with a bow

Let me make a proper vote count actually, as i just noticed i forgot some votes when i said arch and amine were tied:
Arch: 4 (kiet, lykos, drago, seal)

Amine: 4 (newt, lia, baz, me)

Bazarro: 2 (amine, aldo)

Drago: 1 (arch)

Nano: 1 (bok)
Kiet: 1 (nano)

Eviora: 1 (Eviora)

No vote: amber

so as you can see now amine and arch are tied, sooo wups

my suggestion is a lynch on amine, and if he flips maf the healer role (cleric probably) should heal arch, if amine flips TP or town it's basically up to the cleric what to do about arch

Oh, and Bok's town. I have no reason, but he's town.

The bandwagons D1 on Newt and Kiet were because there was nothing else to go off since it was D1 with no N0. Currently I see Kiet as Town for the same reason Aldo mentioned. Newt's sudden claim into proving his innocence is a bit concerning to me, and tbh I'm still looking at the Nicki incident. I do think he's a bit sus, but his plan to prove innocence is solid, so we'll see tomorrow.

Amine never said they had the same information, we only believed they did due to unclear messages. In fact, they turned around after that and said they were going to suggest everyone to reveal Vanilla NPC, yet didn't vote in either of these posts. _Then_ in their next post, they said that revealing roles is bad, so it's all over the place. When I suggested we be careful on who we reveal, I didn't know NPC was confirmed Town. It's worth noting that Amine hasn't actually contributed any information thus far.

Arch seems to be digging their own grave by taking on everyone at once. I'm scum reading them now, but there's also a chance they're just a panicking townie. If they really are wounded, I agree it's a wasted lynch. As for your second comment, role alignments are COMPLETELY random. There's no way to tell which abilities are on which side, if my understanding the rules is correct. Amine was RBd, so someone likely Bow'd Arch, like Fali said.

Tbh I'm more inclined to believe Kiet has a bigger chance of being maf than Newt.

Consider that Bean is a strong player when it comes down to it. I know that, and Kiet definitely knows that. If he is maf, it would do him good to get rid of bean quickly since Bean is often quite spot on when it comes to reads.

Now, I'm only bringing that up since people are so adamant Kiet's town, and unless I missed something, this certainty is only based on him redirecting the kill to Bean (which imo is a flawed reason).

That being said, I believe Kiet is town as well for the moment, based off of his contributions, and none of this is enough to deter me from my opinion that Nano is still the sketchiest.

Night Two

Outside of the cozy halfling home, the sun was setting, casting its last golden rays upon Gandiet's face. As the old man told his tale, the children shivered, increasingly worried that all was not going to end well.

Bilbok knew it, of course. He had heard this story before. Whilst finishing his tea, he allowed himself a little, mischievous smile. "You know Uncle Gandiet as well as I do, little ones. If you think this old fart will allow all of this to have a good ending, then you haven't been paying attention."

That day had been a lot more chaotic than the first. The villagers knew what tragedy awaited them, now; blood and death aplenty. They had to act, defend themselves.

Reckless decisions were made. An innocent life was lost. Finally, heated debates and suspicions went in all possible directions, until two names were called out by the crowd. Arch and Amine.

"You've got it all wrong! I'm already wounded and dying. Please, come to my aid. I can help you find the invaders!" pleaded the first.

The second remained distant, as if disconnected from the tumult around him. "Why are you confronting me...? Someone broke into my house last night... I don't know anything else."

Their arguments fell into deaf ears. They were both escorted to the edge of town by the angry crowd. An equal number of citizens wanted the first and the second to be exiled, therefore a coin was flipped, and their destiny was left to chance.

Arch was lucky. Amine was not.

Sparks erupted from his fingertips as tears welled up in his eyes. Why did they hate him so much? He was a law-abiding citizen, like them. Was it because of his powers? Because he was different? In the end, he was not given any answer. Defeated and dejected, he was chased away by the mob and ran, ran, never to be seen again. After he was gone, the citizens searched his quarters and belongings. No adventuring gear was found. No traces of any criminal activities. Evidently, they had just blamed an innocent, once again.

The group of adventurers rejoiced. Their victory was, more than ever, in sight.

Or... was it?

In the shadows, a lone figure cackled.

Amine was lynched. He was the Town Sorcerer.

Spoiler

The Sorcerer

It’s not easy being a Sorcerer. All these awesome magical powers that you sometimes have trouble controlling… oh well. They may not always be useful, but when they are, everyone else just needs to sit back and enjoy the show.

Wild Magic. You can conjure a storm of wild magic once in the game, during a night phase. All night actions that involve visiting another player are cancelled. All visitors and their targets are revealed. Their roles and the nature of their visits are not.

The crowd chose to reveal the abilities of the Paladin. The player who has this role can now make use of its level up feature.

Spoiler

The Paladin

Our mandatory white knight is here, with a thirst for justice and the blessing of the gods on their side! Don’t think they have to play nice, though. Especially if you are a filthy heretic.

Oath of Justice. Once in the game, you can decide who is lynched at the end of the day, regardless of votes. Doing so reveals your identity to all at the conclusion of the day phase.

Level up! Fanatical Devotion. During a day phase, you can choose to pledge yourself to another player. Until the end of the game, all night actions aimed at this player are redirected to you instead, until either you or your target dies (whichever comes first).

It is now Night Two in Sunnyvale. You have approximately 24h to perform your night actions, if you have any.

Day Three

It was getting late. The youngest halfling yawned, ready to doze off. But Gandiet the mage was not done with his tale, oh no. There was more to be said, more blood to be shed. Bilbok went to close the curtains on the little house's windows. "Hate to your ruin your fun, but would you mind finishing your story before dinner time, old friend? I'm sure the kids would hate to have to go to bed without hearing the end."

Gandiet snorted. "It'll be over when it'll be over. Don't worry though. The end might be near indeed, kukukuku..."

The third day of the hunt began like the others, with a pale, timid sun rising above the mountains. The villagers' endeavors had resulted in utter failure so far. Hope was leaving some of them. Still, they had a chance to save themselves, if only they gave it their all.

The morning was quiet. Too quiet. Before most citizens had even stepped out of bed, a sudden explosion broke the silence, followed by a terrible scream. Everyone rushed outside. They were greeted by a gut-wrenching sight.

Lía was running across the town square, her body engulfed in flames. She was calling for help, yelling in agony, but no one was quick enough to put out the fire. She tripped, fell, never to rise again. The blazing flames consumed her under the horrified stare of the villagers.

Panic submerged the hearts of even the most courageous. In front of the immediate threat, most citizens decided to flee to the mine, where they thought they could barricade themselves and stay safe. Everyone packed the bare minimum of their belongings and hurried underground. When Kiet, the Paladin, counted everyone, he quickly noticed that someone had not followed; Arch was nowhere in sight.

Alone, Kiet returned to the now deserted town center. Arch's home was hard to miss: a colorful, strangely shaped little house, with a lute engraved on the front door. He knocked, but no one answered. Kiet opened the door and searched the house. It didn't take long for him to find what he was starting to expect.

Arch was lying on his bed, eyes wide open. His body was cold. Surely, he had perished during the night. Despite his pleas yesterday, nobody came to check on his injury. He died alone, his mouth permanently frozen into a sad smile, as if the entertainer passed away knowing that he had been abandoned.

Elsewhere, someone pressed a rag on a freshly opened wound, cursing the gods for this stroke of bad luck.

Lía died. She was a Town Vanilla NPC, which you are already familiar with.

Arch died. He was the Town Bard.

Spoiler

The Bard

What’s a community without a Bard? These jacks of all trades can entertain as well as use magic to wiggle their way out of trouble. Careful not to let these charlatans deceive you!

Song of Dreams. You can visit any one player at night and sing a lullaby to them. The visited player is role-blocked and cannot perform any action that night. They can still be targeted by other actions.

A Vanilla NPC became the new Blood Hunter. Wish them luck in their quest to eradicate evil.

Day Three begins and lasts approximately 48h. Please remember to post and vote.

Joking aside, yeah it's 5 - 5 - 2 now, we're really close to LYLO.

(EDIT: wrong button)

I think we should start looking for people who haven't been contributing much thus far, since the people who have are dying left and right and they've all been Town. Thoughts?

Pledging to Newt is a waste. With his Focus, he's already safe from Mafia kills, and after tonight he'll be Vanilla.

EDIT: Misread NPC role.

Newt is the only confirmed town and I doubt kiet would pledge to me
