Also you make it sound like you're embarassed to be an otaku - which you really shouldn't be. A good chunk of us are otakus like yourself so I think you'll find it a lot easier to converse and make friends with people here quickly, and even more so with a little time. Please do make yourself at home, so to speak. If you got any questions about the place don't be afraid to ask me, or Amethyst, or any of the staff!
