AZKnight Posted January 4, 2011 Share Posted January 4, 2011 At long last! I have been searching for many months, on and off, to find the very last Bug Pokemon for my team. It was very difficult to not only find Pinsir in the Safari Zone but even harder to catch one. At one point I was running into Chansey more than I was Pinsir. As I said, I have picked up the effort for a time then would drop it in frustration. This has been going on since probably my last post. Then today I decided to whittle away the time by searching once again and I managed to find several to my great luck. The not great luck was that I could not capture any of them. After much time of failure and failure, I decided that the last Pinsir I saw during that session in the Safari Zone [if any] would be the last for that day and probably the week. I came across one and sighed to myself knowing what would come. I threw the Safari Ball then set the game down to get some food. When I came back I would be standing in the middle of the field with the Pinsir having fled. But when I came back to my great surprise there was a ball sitting there in front of me! I had caught a Pinsir at last! Now I can finally continue on with my Bug adventure of Bugsy as he attempts to keep up with his rival, Falkner. First I must catch up on where I was on my adventure, finding trainers I had passed by searching for Pinsir and battle them at last and in turn the remaining Gyms. But what dark evil lurks in the shadows for me to uncover... Surge and obtained the thunder badge. not to hard considering im mono ground. since then ive picked up a diglet and a dorwzee. i have 2 hm slaves now but only 1 counts sice diglett is ground. current pokemon nidoking- lvl 34 dugtrio- lvl 34 droqzee- lvl 17 diglett- lvl 19 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Conor Posted November 15, 2011 Share Posted November 15, 2011 ok so, ive traveld through the rock tunnel to lavender town. made my way to celadon city and defeated Giovanni at sliph co. after this my pokemon are each lvl 36 my nidoking and my dugtrio. now i am at the pokemon tower. i have beaten my rival green and have just gotten my poke flute after saving the old man t the top. on my exploits throught the pokemon tower i have obtained a cubone. i caught him at lvl 17 and have trained him alone through the pokemon tower. he is now a marowak at lvl 30. current pokemon Nidoking- lvl 37 Dugtrio- lvl 37 Marowak - lvl 30 Diglet- lvl 19 (hm slave) drowzee- lvl 17(hm slave) *im considering teaching my nidoking surf and and fire blast because his evs and ivs are peferct for a mixed nidoking, his potential moveset would be fire blast, surf, thrash, and brick break Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(Kakuna): lv 8 Queen (Nidoran F): lv 9 And i just hit the Pewter City too i gotta train before facing Brock. I also have a good idea for the rest of my team too. Already know my team too, Pikachu (of course), Electrode, Zapdos, Jolteon and probably HM slaves. Even if it's not allowed, I'm gonna do it for my own personal enjoyment then. Used Lapras instead of Squirtle for HM Surf and Strength slave. Battle team for E4 goes as follows: Zapdos Lvl 54 -Thundershock -Drill Peck -Fly -Thunder Pikachu Lvl 52 -Thunderbolt -Submission -Body Slam -Double Team Jolteon Lvl 48 -Skull Bash -Quick Attack -Double Kick -Agility Magneton Lvl 43 -Thundershock -Supersonic -Thunder Wave -Swift Electrode Lvl 41 -Sonicboom -Selfdestruct -Light Screen -Swift I highly doubt with the low levels I'll make it through, but I'm gonna try anyway. The second run i literally only used Zapdos... left everyone else in the pc, Used a hell of alot of full restores and used two max elixers and a max ether. My zapdos was a powerhouse but it had low pp.... meh, the challenge was fun, but i was surprised my Pikachu wasn't my strongest in the end.... its usally him or my charizard.
