Shanco Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 A reddit survey placed Shovel Knight, King K Rool and Isaac as the top 3 most in-demand characters, followed by Snake, Wolf and the Ice Climbers. I don't like the idea of Inkling being a character...I dunno why. Bandana Dee is pretty back there in the poll, and Shantae...is way behind. Hadn't even heard of her before. We've been waiting for Isaac for a while though...that man deserves justice. Quote

And to paraphrase Jontron, What the f*** is a Shantae? Seriously, she is not a well known third party character like all the others in Smash. Let Nintendo use the bottom of its barrel before taking from the bottom of the gaming industry's barrel. Quote

Godot Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Nintendo did NOT say that 3rd party characters are out of the picture. The characters I listed are not my top choices, they are the MOST LIKELY choices. These characters all have TONS of people backing them up and supporting them. The developers of Shantae and Shovel Knight have also been very vocal ever since the Ballot was announced. They even said "if Nintendo wanted to, we can do 90% of the work". If you asked me "what 3rd party character would I like to see in smash?" My actual first Pick is Simon Belmont from the Castlevania series. Edit: none of the fighter ballots on reddit are 100% accurate. I am going on based on what I have seen on things like smashboards and YouTube. The reddit poll I found says this; 1. King K Rool 2. Shovel Knight 3. Banjo and Kazooie 4. Snake 5. Isaac 6. Wolf 7. Then again, I haven't played the game with any of you, so you can't really confirm how good I am with him. I figure somebody is better than nobody though. EDIT: Completely missed that Palutena is blank too. I play her as a secondary, so I suppose I could do that too, if need be. Quote
