"Say no more." Visrii said, and with left over adrenaline from the battle, he summons a surge of mana and pours it into a raging inferno concentrated on the book, an abnormally powerful fire that frothed with chaos that tarred the air itself. From afar, it looked like a dark pheonix with black feathers merging into nothing. Visrii knew to make sure to do the job properly.

He felt a sharp pain inside his mind, and he knew he had pushed the Fading even further. He hadn't much time left...however they were getting out, they had to get out fast. His breathing grew laboured, leaning against his staff for support.

"...shit...let's get out fast..."

[The Fading (weak) - Visrii suffers from weakness, his skills suffering one extra turn of cooldown every second time he uses them.]

Well. That seemed almost too easy. The Bullet wasn't going to scoff at that, though.

He leaves Visrii to deal with the book, and instead goes to check around the tables/sandbags for anything left behind, and maybe investigate the console after.

"Visrii, you don't look okay at all. Did that guy put a number on you?" Halley asked, "I can give you a lift. You're not gonna be running fast in your condition," she lent her shoulders to Visrii, suggesting a piggyback ride. Despite how silly the idea may have sounded, she had carried Reploids of similar weight before in rescues.

"I'm...fine..." Visrii said, though his body language suggested the contrary. "Just...get out of here..." Visrii straightened up, though he looked quite shaky on his feet.

Rather unfortunately Lexiel would fail to find anything that could be recognized as being steampunk inside of the pile, and her search for something magical would be quite limited....other than a tiny bit of synthetic skin that appeared to have been rather haphazardly torn off of the frame.

It appears to be slowly but surely consuming the material surrounding it to make itself bigger. It is barely bigger than your finger right now, although it makes one wonder why someone would want to poke at a bit of skin.

Edmond would be able to pick up the glasses without any actual problems, although he fails to see anything of actual mechanical interest other than the remains of a robot.

The message would simply be a picture of Solomon with an honest to god Tankard in one hand that is overflowing with mead, and what appears to be a very well maintained bar in the background. Katsuo, Theodore, and an odd looking fish like man could be seen in the background.

Visrii succeeded in burning the book. The music does not stop.

The Bullet would find several layer dipping sauces laid next to open bags of chips, some odd pen like objects in the pockets of the recently deceased and in one case the eyesocket of an apparently terrified person, and a series of drawers that were in fact opening and closing themselves.

The drawer was also muttering something in a British accent, I think it was "Damn, damn, it's not here".

Edmond turned the unusual spectacles over in his armored fingers, attempting to determine whether any magical energy or interesting features were concealed within the glasses. There's got to be some reason why they weren't destroyed...

Knowing that they had little time remaining, Edmond grabbed some of the robotics parts, avoiding the regenerating skin. He was rummaging through the parts when he heard the muttering. It was not the sound of a teammate. Edmond's fingers slowly tightened around handle of his gun, and he turned towards the voice.

"Is there anything we might help with?"

"You're NOT going to make it outside like this," Halley protested, "at least let Lexiel take you up the elevator shaft. You can't climb up on your own."

"Oh, by the way, is our getaway vehicle going to be here soon?" she asked the others.

"I don't think we're done here," Lexiel states, keeping her narcojet rifle at the ready, finger on the bayonet activation trigger, "I still hear eldritch chanting.  Usually, a mage's workings disappear when they and their foci are destroyed, unless they went to the trouble to enchant the entire room."

The drawers stopped opening and closing themselves soon after Edmond made it quite clear that he knows that a person exists in front of him. He would receive no response from the person, who appeared to no longer be there, although a man or woman with very good hearing may be able to hear them walking towards a nearby wall.

Edmond would also receive a pair of robotic legs that were once powerfully built and nimble, but are currently smashed into little pieces. He may also be interested in what appeared to be a surprisingly not broken battery.

It was a few short moments later before the sound of terrible music was replaced by something completely different. It sounded like a very angry man swearing repeatedly as a very distinct thud could be heard coming from the closed door you had taken to get here.

After a while the thudding sound was replaced by someone shouting at a man  named "Frank" for not telling them something sooner, and the very distinct noise a chainsaw makes when it is revved up.

A chainsaw proceeds to effortlessly begin the laborious process if cutting a hole in the door. Before another round of shouting leads to the chainsaw attempting to cut around the door....quite successfully in fact.

This appears to be your last chance to inspect or trap your surroundings.....

Lexiel uses her superhuman hearing and smell to locate the invisible person, and throws some goblins at the problem.  Goblins are usually a good solution.  She orders them to grapple the invisible thing as best they can to smear smelly, not invisible barbecue sauce all over the target, then beat it into submission with their rocks if possible.  Then, she kicks a table over to use as cover between herself, anyone else who wants to shelter behind it, and the door, and gets ready to shoot the invisible person or whoever's breaking in as needed.

"Not over yet, huh... " Halley stepped behind the table and locked her blaster against the door. She looked at Lexiel throwing goblins at seemingly nothing, before turning back to the door that was about to go down. She'd fire a paralyzing shot to neutralize the threat behind the door as soon as they appear.

"We know you're here. You can't believe that you're still undetected." Edmond kept his gun in a relaxed grip. "It might be best if you simply revealed yourself, since we all seem to have the goal of escaping from this place..." It seemed rather unlikely though that this person would cooperate. Another battle is imminent, I suppose...Hmm, I forgot to distribute the weapons...

Speaking over his myriad of comms systems, so as not to be audible to the invisible man, he said, "I suppose it's probably obvious, but i have a few rather decent weapons on my person that I can't use at the moment, including some form of magic crossbow, a demon possessed shotgun, and a combination gun with multiple functions."

Lexiel's goblins succeed in smearing the invisible man with enough non invisible barbecue sauce before swiftly becoming decaffeinated by a very sharp blade. Lexiel would be able to sense the man running quite audibly towards a nearby cabinet, before he revealed himself to everyone in the room.

He wore a dark grey suit of power armor over himself, which shared many similarities with Edmond's power armor although it was noticeably taller and coloured in a less garish manner. He was currently wiping down a rather sharp blade that was mounted on his right arm, and he made a gesture at Edmond with his helmeted face that suggested a wink before saying "Didn't you know? Magic is powered by belief".

This statement was soon followed by the distinct sound of the wall being broken down by two men carrying large ballistic shields and large mauls charging towards the group. They shouted out the words "Violence will not be tolerated--surrender or be destroyed." before one of them were hit by a lucky and paralyzing shot from Halley, which slowed his advance long enough for Lexiel to fire some shots at his direction. Rather unfortunately the shots were completely and utterly blocked by his ballistic shield.

They were soon followed by a familiar looking man with an afro who immediately ducked behind the nearest piece of cover after the formerly present doorway erupted into an unceasing torrent of covering fire. The man said nothing for a while as he disabled the safety on his assault rifle, before he fired another stream of bullets towards the group and shouting out the words "I AM TIRED OF THESE MOTHERFUCKING SHADOWRUNNERS ON MY MOTHERFUCKING ARCOLOGY!".

Another familiar looking face strode into the room soon afterwards with a rather large chainsaw carried in his hands; he ducked into cover for a while as he had a very heated conversation with the afro wearing man about what is a Pulp Fiction and why Beethoven is not just a fucking dog from a Disney movie. This particular piece of the conversation went on for a while, until he asked the other man if he could make a reference of his own; the afro wearing man eventually replied with a tired "Why the hell not? It's not like you can make this situation any more embarrassing", which is why he charged towards the party with a chainsaw held in his right hand, and a sawn off shotgun being blindly fired at them in the left while shouting "!SANGRE PARA EL SANGRE DIOS!" in a rather deep tone of voice. This was soon followed by the afro wearing man shouting "Goddamnit Frank, you're missing references again!".

A few moments after the familiar faces strode into the room a tired looking man with what appears to be a very odd looking keyboard in his hands. He looked around at the room for a moment, and swiftly realizes that he has accidentally walked into an active combat zone. He immediately ducks underneath a nearby piece of cover, before angrily typing on said keyboard while staring at the party.

Visrii's eyes seemed to deny him vision, the world under him shaking loose. Despite having refilled his mana, the Fading was quickly catching up. If he didn't take proper evacuation soon...

"They've brought a few more as well - don't get cocky."

He stowed away Duty and took the crossbow off Edmond, and immediately fired it against the nearest Guardsman.

[Pin Strike on Dakka Guard, dealing 2d4+10, having 16% chance to strike twice and 25% chance to crit.]

"So much for diplomacy." With a single unerring motion, Edmond brought his rifle to bear on the man with the afro, and, boosted by the suit, simultaneously launched himself backwards towards the laboratory cabinets. He huddled down behind one, and opened fire, each time shooting only when the man's afro began to stick out. None of the adversaries seemed nearly as powerful as Marx had felt, but the strength inherent in numbers could not be ignored. Halley seems to know them. Possibly a previous battle...The man in the power armor is still a wild card. I suppose the real test is going to be whether he starts shooting at us. So, His thoughts were interrupted by a voice. It was impossible to tell anything about the speaker, and as soon as it had finished speaking, Edmond could remember nothing about the sound. Only the message remained. Allies? Not here, I suppose, else they would be fighting. And I don't see why an enemy would send this message unless it was a distraction... "Computer, make note of these, and remind me after the battle. We need meteoric iron, LSD, though I'm hesitant about it, a demon--hmm, got that already--gasoline or fuel, technology which is easy, and certain edibles. Hmm. It's rather expansive." Based on the list, Edmond drew the conclusion that his mystery allies would probably be decently interested in almost anything he could find. He glanced around, looking for the piece of self regenerating skin he had seen. Of course, after spotting it, he quickly turned his attentions back to the battle, and fired once more at the afro man's head.

"Do you need some help with an exit? Or would you prefer not to be associated with us? That would be understandable..." Edmond addressed the other man in power armor.

Weld on Samuel L Jackson. (2d6 + 10) and adds 3d6+10 to next instance of damage against him. Also, check where the piece of skin is in relation to Edmond

Let's see how good that shield is, his shield and maul, versus Izumi's shotgun. She draws her weapon, flipping off the safety, and charges.

Tempest Bloom II on Shield Guard B. This inflicts Overwhelm with a Duration of 3 Turns and a Cooldown of 3 Turns. Overwhelm reduces the victim's RES by the user's DEX (=9).

Lexiel tries to find an angle where she can get a narcojet payload dart into the obvious decker.  If she can't hit him without exposing herself to all the dakka, she'll dart the more dakka guard instead with the narcojet payload.  Hopefully, the paralyzing agents will spoil his aim.  Her aura boosts the initiative of Visrii, the Bullet, and herself by 1.  "Artificer!" She shouts, indicating the keytar guy.  "Take him out before he summons his constructs!"

Round 1 Results

Visrii deals 8 points of damage to More Dakka Guard with his barrage of bolts, but he fails to do anything particularly impressive
The pointy eared man carrying a light machine gun outside of the room pins Visrii down with a hail of supressing fire, preventing him from performing any melee attacks as he expected Visrii to use his Halberd.
The large Shield carrying guard that Halley hadn't managed to shoot becomes a moving pillar for the Decker to hide behind, reducing the damage he and the Decker takes by a quarter.

Frank spots Lexiel lining up a shot at the decker, and he immediately suplexes her, dealing 6 points of damage to her and preventing her shots from firing. Frank then spends a moment glancing away from her to look at an empty spot of the wall and shout "BEETHOVEN IS A DOG!" before focusing on his suplex again. Lexiel would have been able to jab him a bit for 3 points of damage before her opening came and went. She would also smell a lot of barbecue sauce.

Samuel throws what at first appeared to be a smoke grenade at Izumi and Edmond, but it rather unfortunately turns out to be a cloud of rather aggressive nanobots that eat away at their everything for 16 and 6 damage each. Izumi is probably glad about the complete and utter lack of clothing damage, altough it is sort of hard to see when every time your eyes open something tries to eat it away. The robotic eyes on Edmond's face plate are covered by a smattering of nanobots. Edmond and Izumi are afflicted with Lesser Blind

The Bullet throws an enchanted projectile at The Decker, dealing 9 points of damage but failing to pierce through and strike another target.

Despite Halley's best efforts the second shield guard follows Edmond and hits him on the head with a shock maul, before giving him a rather familiar sensation. Rather unfortunately the intensely frowning guard is probably not a woman underneath his helmet.

Izumi would find that magic is pretty damn effective against armor over here for some definitely not genocide related reason.
Lexiel is currently suplexed, but you don't really need any other limbs than your mouth to sing with.
The Decker just walks towards The Bullet, and uses his Cyberdeck as a makeshift club and whacks him on the head. dealing 7 points of damage.
Edmond is both stunned and blinded right now, he isn't really in a position to do anything other than blindly try to flail inside of his suddenly rigid suit.
Halley manages to actually help Lexiel by hitting Frank with a paralyzing wave of energy.

"Oh. That isn't good." Edmond watched with a small sigh as the suit slowly died around him. As soon as the last light disappeared, he went through the cycle to reboot it, hopefully preventing it form being so fragile to shocks. The smoke grenade had been a surprise, and it seemed that the afrom man likely had more, so Edmond aimed and fired at him once more.

Weld on Samuel L Jackson. (2d6 + 10) and adds 3d6+10 to next instance of damage against him. Also, check where the piece of skin is in relation to Edmond

Poison mist and rapidly firing 'bullets'. And all I have is this 'club' thing that somehow shoots arrows.

Visrii snorted at the absurdity of the situation in comparison to his normal combats.

I must have had too much to drink.

"Bullet! Careful of suppressing fire!" He shouted, then turned to the guard named 'Samuel', lining up a careful shot through the cracks of his cover.

Lexiel adjusts her grip on her narcojet rifle, and revs up the chainsaw bayonet.  The highly intimidating weapon screeches with lightning and mechanical menace as it reaches full speed, glowing and arcing blue-white sparks.  "I am obliged to inform you that you have made a tactical error," Lexiel blandly informs the guard grappling her, "And the guy who sold me this said I wouldn't need a lightning-infused chainsaw bayonet.  What was he smoking, amiright?"  If the guard is intimidated into letting her go, so much the better.  She'll summon a goblin each to block for Izumi and Edmond, since they're staggering around like they were hit with a crowd control move.  If the guard fails to be intimidated, she'll stick her chainsaw bayonet somewhere unpleasant with a basic attack using the narcojet rifle's melee mode.  Her aura pulses stronger, sending a faint whisper of noise around the edges of what everyone in the area can hear, and giving herself, Visrii, and the Bullet +1 initiative.
