There will be no regular evolution discussion in this thread. Personally, I'd like to see the Johto starters have megas, along with Lapras Quote

I know it would make Raichu more attractive compared to Pikachu... but still, this line has literally everything, and so much special-treatment, except Mega-evolution (and only because it's Nintendos Posterchild) Even if this line would get a Mega, my guess would be Mega PIKACHU... because Nintendo/GameFreak loves it to death and neglects Raiche whereever - also we would never be able to see Ash use the Mega-Evolution of his partner - as if that would happen... ANYWAY Butterfree -> Beedrill got one, so it's counterpart should also get one, to make it fair Froslass -> Gardevoir and Gallade both have a Mega evolution, why only Glalie from the Snorunt-line? Slowking -> same reason as Froslass... branching evolutions with only one Mega make the decision relatively easy... Quote
