leocain Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 As you know, after you figure out Terra is evil, you have to chase her trough a virtual world based around the first gen, and some places in Reborn, near the end you fight a glitch with a level 75 Mewtwo (with Psystrike, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt and Recover), I am curious as to how you beat such a tough opponent while playing by gen one rules. Reno Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 I don't really remember how I knocked Mewtwo out, but I guess I just outdamaged it somehow? Quote
dondon151 Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 I OHKO'd the poor guy with Flail Diggersby @ Focus Sash. Quote
TurboAura Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 (edited) Believe it was just a question of how much damage I could throw at it. Not too hard with Sharpedo, Noivern, Greninja and Gardevoir as choices(though Greninja was teetering just before Lv. 76) If you want to talk hard, try the Pokemon that comes right afterward. Support Squad Felicity Posted April 20, 2015 Support Squad Posted April 20, 2015 I, don't actually remember. At all. I think maybe I toxicked it? Quagsire is a good breeding investment, let me tell you. Quote

You mean Terra's Garchomp?. That didn't take too long once I could slow him down a bit (hits hard tho) Quote
Support Squad Felicity Posted April 20, 2015 Support Squad Posted April 20, 2015 I beat Terrawr when he AI was dumb. In what world should a ninetales and Ampharos beat her? Quote
Vinny Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 (edited) Terra was easy game. Lanturn OP Edited April 20, 2015 by Vinny Quote
Gaunt Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Gyarados with Bite flinch (the AI was dumb enough to use Ice Beam instead of Thunderbolt) Quote
Etesian Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 I barely remember the thing, it wasn't terribly difficult to me. I either used Drought Ninetales and Chlorophyll+Sleep Powder Lilligant or simply overpowered it. Quote
Xiri Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Some of my team members did faint (I don't think I've ever defeated it without at least one Pokemon fainting) but the battle isn't too difficult imo. Quote
TurboAura Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 (edited) You mean Terra's Garchomp?. That didn't take too long once I could slow him down a bit (hits hard tho) Garchomp?! No, that was easy. I'm talking about the Sheer Force Nidoking lead that will wreck half of your team if you don't know exactly what you need to do to put it down and keep if down after all the Hyper Potions she throws at it.
