Imagine if Ame wanted to say f yoy, and she gave saphhira a mega salamence with dd, return/double edge/facade, eq, fire blast, roost etc. Imagine the ownage and destruction. But I know Ame won't be this mean or will she..

Hmm the only reason I have my doubts is because Salamence is Heather's trademark in Reborn.

There are other Dragon pokemon capable of Mega Evolution though.

I been training counters/checks for the next few gyms, if I can successfully get my save file into episode 14+. Mega salamence scares me even though i have 4 checks for it.

Since the game is sorta based on the online league, in which a rule was that gym leaders don't get legendaries/megas (as I've heard), I kinda doubt we'd be seeing one in any gym, but that's just me.

Mawile is weak when not mega, so I wouldn't count on him much.

actually, M-Mence is tanky enough to eat a BANDED Mamoswine's Ice Shard and KO back with return. It's faster than M-Mawile and I doubt it will fall to a +0 Sucker Punch. Avalugg dies to Flamethrower/Fire Blast. Cloyster only has a chance if it is sashed and M-Mence doesn't carry DD. M-Metagross -might- have a chance, but if M-Mence has a sub then I doubt it will win. Keep in mind, Mence has 95/130/90 bulk, plus Intimidate from non-Mega form. Greninja might work, but only outspeeds by a hair and loses to both Substitute and DD variants.

gym leaders with mega's would be scary they can be hard enough to beat as it is they got their specialized fields imagine mega blaziken on Charlotte's field with its speed boost and the awesome STAB blaze kick could so easily sweep your whole team

I'm fairly confident that by the time we get to fight Heather we'll be facing a mega Salamence. That thing has aerialate and she's a flying type trainer with Salamence as her ace, any confrontation with Heather is also likely to be late game. Makes sense no?
