Yeah, I messed up I have a clean copy of the game on my laptop and a modded version on a second device. I had originally only installed it to check whether you can obtain this awesome Crystal Aegislash, but then I won against Eclipse and didn't want to do that on the clean file, too, so I just kept going And now I'll have to EV retrain my favourite eight Pokémon again... or just beat Eclipse a second time.

Also, I realised that due to the new way IVs can be gained through EVs, I had essentially crippled all my 252 Pokémon into completely muddled EVs because I had no idea that was happening. (Like, I saw these phrases pop up that some Pokes gained speed, but I had no idea what that was all about... until today.) ... Good, I'm just so happy I can continue postgame!!!

Hey-ho! Yup, this is a bit embarrassing, but... And I'm struggling. I wonder whether some people found a good, reliable strategy to carry them through the pavilion battles. (I have found that I rely WAY too much on Revival Herbs and battle items, and since they are banned there...)

Oh grr! That's a shame, it looks amazing! Hmm... I checked whether it's available via the choose starter mod (don't worry, devs, I installed it on a separate computer only for research purposes!) and neither Awesome-Aegislash nor Aevian-Misdreavus can be selected as alternate forms (which works for Alolan forms). And that makes me wonder... how does the game then store regional information? Are these two forms different Pokemon with different dex numbers? (Since these alternate forms also don't show up on the Pokedex).

Regarding alternate forms, there is a very interesting form of in the game that is fairy instead of ghost. Did anyone ever find whether you can obtain it?

There are also lots of other tactics. I remember I used some cotton spore Whimsicott + sth. else tactics (Curse? Toxic? I can't remember...), and some of the first people to beat Solaris used FEAR (Focus Sash Endeavour Quick Attack Rattata). By now, there are lots of strategies you can pull off (which you can also check on his wiki page), so Solaris is actually not that fearsome anymore :) (Some of my favourite tactics are Sturdy + Flash + healing items if all else fails, so that may be another option.) That said, yes, Anna's path looks more rewarding because it requires these specific efforts/choices. I haven't yet played through the whole of postgame yet, so I can't judge that yet, but maybe you can see it this way: The different routes add replay value and a deeper meaning to different interactions. For me personally, it is equally rewarding to see characters act completely different in routes where different things happened.

Oh crap... I was sure it would be open! Hmm... can you enter the Elite 4 chambers? Maybe, there's a warp field... If there is absolutely no way to get back to Lin, I'd consider this bad enough to report as a glitch/bug/soft-lock/thing.

Yes, it would appear you are - sorry! But if it helps, I had the same problem on my first playthrough back in 2017. After 100+ hours of gameplay, I started a completely new file to tick all the Anna requirements. (I think it has payed off so far, though.) But according to Amethyst's post, people don't really "miss" stuff on whichever path they're on. You can go almost everything you can do on both paths, it's just events and dialogue that's different. (At least LET'S HOPE SO!)

It's a file in your save games folder that just pops up whenever you install E19 on a computer. It's probably good for something, but it seems to be one of these files that just create themselves again if they're missing from the folder.

Hi! Since two hours ago, I can no longer open E19 Beta - it just crashes. I repeat: A clean install on my PC works just fine with the save files, but a clean install on my laptop doesn't. ...??????? I have no idea what is happening... does someone have an idea how to fix this? EDIT2: OOOOOOOOOKAY, I solved it! By process of elimination, the only thing that could have caused the problem was the game.dat file, since that was the only thing that remained untouched. (The savegames were obviously okay, as was the clean copy of the game, and it was something that only affected the E19 Beta version - so it had to be that thing.) By the way, I have no idea what that thing does, but deleting it solved the issue. It also magically reappeared in my folder - this time uncorrupted, probably. Phew!!
