No, changing into mono-type is actually the reason why it's good, since having only one type only gives you the weaknesses for that type, because it changes before he attacks you always do STAB so, damage wise, he getting "monotyped" doesn't affect anything but defensively it's amazing, let's say that only the Water-Type of Greninja changes with Protean and he remains Dark-Type on the secondary, well, people can just exploit that and go for a Bug, Fighting or Fairy move since it will be super effective anyways but since he goes monotype the enemy can only do super effect against whatever type he's changing into, having a secondary type when your ability changes yours literally before a strike is not beneficial at all, in fact, that could be a nice nerf for Protean and Libero if GameFreak thinks they are too OP.

Yeah, that's how I managed too but it was still a nightmare..

I still think it's the double battle on top of Valor Mountain and I am not exagerating.. I had easier times with gym leaders than that fight.. Mostly because Melia is kind of a dumbass teammate and that STUPID F**KING TYPHLOSION!! Most battle I beat either in the first try or took me 2 or 3 but that one?! No matter how many times I replay this game that one still HAUNTS me.. Adam? First try, not even break a sweat Angie? 2 tries, took me some understanding and preparation Crawly? One try after I realized what that Ariados was for Ryland? 2 tries, baby! That stupid fight on top of Valor Mountain? Sh*t, man.. I lost count.. Now if you would ask me the easiest it's probably the Flying Gym Leader (forgot his name, tehee), I beat him BY ACCIDENT and with only 2 Pokemons, a Steelix and a Lycanroc.. Just 4 words "Smack Down And Dig"

Please no.. The stories of each game just don't mesh, IF a crossover would be done between the two it would feel very unnatural and forced, despite being the top2 Pokemon fangames (at least in my opinion) they just don't mix.. It's like if you mix your favorite sweet desert with your favorite fried food, like Friend Chicken + Chocolate Cake, they are pretty good on their on but it would be terrible when mixed..

A pity.. I just hope off-topic discussions be seem with more leniency then since there won't be a thread specifically made for it but you guys are the moderators and I'm just a fan Oh shot! Yeah.. If I gotta be honest, expecting the forum to -not- go off-topic and follow a constant trail is kinda unrealistic, every forum of every kind of thing end up going like that.. In my view, aside from the Bryce Calls situation, the thread was doing fine, people were talking about Pokemon, getting hyped for the v13 release, asking question that were already answered ages ago but they didn't saw it and request dumb s**t, as it is natural even if a little annoying at times. I hope you guys see the v14 Discussion thread with more leniency and if situations like the Bart Malls appear, just simply give a warning to the person deviating the conversation and if they don't, well, bring the hammer down on the person not the whole thread, it's the same as a teacher punishing the whole class because one student didn't shut up. Take it as a piece of criticism from someone that works in management but sometimes I think you guys are quite stiff when it comes to moderating the forum and a bit aggressive, even in this thread, we are talking about the v13 Discussion Thread and topics related to Pokemon, which should be fine but we already got warned to "pipe down". Aaand with this, if I get banned guys, just wanna let you all know, it has been an honor!

I actually don't think it was a troll.. My assumption is that it's a kid that is a fan of this "Brian Halls" and thought that everyone here would know him because he has a million subs on TikTok, the reason why I don't believe he was a troll is because, if he was, he would had already started with the "Bruce Hallway" from the start but he only devolved into that once everyone said his "request" was stupid (and it was), almost like he expected us to believe him and capitulate to what he wanted because "Oh no! Big TikToker! Big Deal!" I still liked the thread tho'.. And I was trying to get it back on track (I even used to answer repetitive questions so Zumi and Jan wouldn't need to bother seeing and answering the same questions over and over).. The reality of the matter is that there's only so many questions people can ask about v13 without being something someone else already asked so, in my opinion, the v13 Discussion Thread was more like a mega thread of v13 hype and a get-together for the fans of Rejuvenation to discussion Pokemon related topics and, believe it, same thing will happen on v14 Discussion Thread.. And on the v15.. And v16 and so on.

That is a weirdly accurate pattern.. It is awkward to think of how old I am getting when I look at Pokemon, a game I started playing when I was 8.. Well, you did had the guts to look him up, I just assumed he is one of these cringey TikTokers and didn't even bother.. BUt back to Pokemon, hoo boy, you never played Rejuvenation?! You're in for a heck of a ride! I already replayed Rejuvenation 2 times last year and I'm totally going to do it again on v13, that's how good this is! About the starter, yeah, Scorbunny, I have a bias for Fire Types.. I usually never pick Grass (tho' I don't know why, I don't have anything against them) and the only Water I like is Froakie and since Scorbunny is basically Fire Type Froakie, well.. But my favorite starter will always be Chinchar, I just love how useful Infernape with Iron Fist is

I was kinda trying to get the train back on tracks there and trying to shush Mr. Totally Bryce Halls from causing a bigger commotion.. Didn't work.. I have high hopes for the v14 thread but I don't think it will be as big since the v13 Discussion was filled with multiple questions related to gen8 and how things would work, I'm assuming Game Freak won't release gen9 any time soon hence why I don't think the v14 discussion will have as many questions (Well.. Who knows, v14 might take a year or two to be done and GameFreak might actually release gen9 at that point). I wonder if v13 will release soon, like Zumi said, that percentage bar isn't updated often and doesn't really represent how long it might take and I am currently extremely bored and replaying Rejuvenation would be the best cure.

You would have to save and load multiple times to get that tho' @Shiruu34, yes, all legendaries have a guarantee of 3 perfect IVs that's why I recommend saving and loading before getting him to see if you can get one with good IVs overall as well

OK OK, sure kid, now go sit down in the corner there.. I mean, as long as it isn't something overcomplicated it is possible, we already have these kind of things no only with the decisions related to Flora but also Giratina and even specific fights like the one related to "a certain robot" (Don't wanna give spoiler) which alter parts of the story slightly without altering the goal itself

That's probably one of the questions the devs will never give you an answer for.. I assume they won't answer anything related to the story in order to avoid spoilers so, if you gonna ask something (and expect an answer), it gotta be something technical like "Gen8 introduced "X", how is it going to be implemented?"

Acting like you didn't already knew that I also don't know who this Bryce Hall is and even after googling him I was just like "literally WHO?" Even if he is the real Bryce Hall, which I doubt very much and think it's only a joke (Or I hope it is), I don't know what some TikTok InFlUeNcEr has to do with anything.. Man times change.. I remember back in the day having a million subscribers in anything was a big deal but nowadays there are plenty of people with millions of subscribers that I literally never heard of.. @Zindril Don't be so harsh on him.. It sounded more like he was asking IF possible more than making a demand, it is a bad ask but still.. There's also the possibility that he may just not be very well acquainted with game development and how hard can it be, specially if you are a small team of unexperienced people (and for such a small team to make an amazing game sure is impressive). I mean, games like Elders Scrolls and Fallout have such things but these are games with massive development teams under ridiculous budgets and even them take almost a decade to pump one of these games out (and usually filled with bugs *cof cof* Fallout 76 *cof cof*). So just take it easy on the new guy

Didn't you ask that before? The answer is probably "no".. Jan probably already have a grasp of how the story will play out and end (like a script), having multiple paths would slow development of every version to a crawl, not to mention this has to be added to the game meaning Jan would have to basically tweak the WHOLE GAME from the very first chapter up until whatever chapter v13 will end which would take, and I am not joking, probably half a decade seeing he would had to rewrite, re-code and re-do parts of the story while being a -really- small team.. Also I am 110% sure a LOT of bugs would happen during this process which would take forever to test and patch too since he would have to take every single different branched path just to check if they're working properly. There are already some choices you do that slightly alter the story (like the "Flora Choice", will keep this vague to avoid spoilers) but full branching paths like joining Team Xen and trying to capture Melia instead of protecting her? Yeah, no.. And such a thing usually don't happen in Pokemon Games anyway, you just follow the story, like I said before, this isn't Elder Scrolls or Fallout..

Other than the Pyramid I also know the Garbodor fight.. Don't exactly know what caused it.. Maybe the angle I went fight him(?)

Now I remember.. One of the very first posts I ever did here was because I got locked on the Garbodor fight in West Gaeren.. For some reason after defeating him Melia just.. Stands there and the cutscene wouldn't play.. Had to restart the whole game for the first time there, that was the incident that taught me "Always keep autosaves ON".. Also I did this meme cuz it's relevant banter

Me too.. Luckily for me tho' I had backup saves so I just restarted before I entered the pyramid but, damn.. Restarting the whole thing after reaching that far?! Rough..
