MDM1 Beans

Does anyone know if the Madelis v Melia fight has been changed in V12? Like, as far as the AI is concerned? Or is it different on the higher difficulty? I beat this fight in V11 Normal Mode, but it was reliant on Houndoom not using Nasty Plot so that I could put it to sleep with Yawn. But so far on this new file, through about 25 resets, Houndoom always uses Nasty Plot, then Incinerate on the next turn and we are toast.

Hey all, I just had some questions about the pickup ability. Each Pokemon in your party has a 10% chance of picking up an item during every single battle, correct? So if I carried 5 pickup Pokemon, each battle I'd have a 50% chance of picking up an item? Is that percentage the same in Rejuvenation? And does that include defeating wild Pokemon? The reason I ask is because I've been carrying 2 pickup Pokemon while doing some EV training in the EV training rooms. I've been at it about 2 hours and just got my first pickup item. For a while I thought you just couldn't get them against those trainers (which would be understandable) but now I'm not sure if I've just got terrible luck or what. I've yet to crack even the first pickup achievement on this file, and I need new ways of getting AP in the early game now that berry prices have been raised. Any info pertaining to any of this is much appreciated!!

Oh, I something I wonder about every time I play again from the beginning: In the Dangerous Pokemon quest, how come the Litleo evolves when the lady drops a Fire Stone even though Litleo doesn't evolve by stone?

I know that you've said that there will not be any sort of romantic storyline for the MC, but I was wondering if at any point through the story so far other characters had exhibited romantic feelings towards the MC? (I'm thinking Amber specifically)

Some early things that I've noticed are different: -Old rod is now picked up in the Aqua Building, second floor -Budew no longer seems to be available in Gearen Park -Berry prices have been raised (200 for Oran, 300 for Pecha), so buying and selling to raise your AP doesn't work so well anymore

So I'm using some mods from the SWM mod pack, as well as some of the additional mods from Aironfaar. I'm only using a handful of them, mostly just for quality of life purposes. Pickup mod, item radar, weather mod. Just to save myself time doing things that I know my brain would make me do one way or another. But I noticed that (like you said in the read me file) the synopsis has gone away on my pause screen. I was wondering if anyone knew which mods specifically caused problems with this. I'm not really worried about the synopsis itself, but the party system sounds really interesting to me and I'd hate to miss out on it. Alternatively, if someone could tell me when the party system becomes relevant then I could just remove all the mods at that point so I don't miss it.

I did have RAR files selected in 7zip, but for whatever reason it still was not working. However, I downloaded the trial version of WinRAR and that seems to have done the trick! Thank you very much, can't wait to get started!

So I must be a special type of slow or something, but for some reason I don't seem to be able to properly download either of these. I should be able to open/extract .rar files using 7zip, but every time I try it tells me it can't open the file as an archive. If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong and has a solution it would be much appreciated. I haven't had an opportunity to play either of these, and I can't find another fan game I've enjoyed while waiting for the next Reborn and Rejuv updates.

I'm only through Venam so far, but the two biggest things I've noticed are that the Pickup mod just prevents your pokemon from ever picking anything up (this is fixed by removing that mod) and that I am unable to pickup eggs (not sure what the solution is here, I even tried removing the script for the mod pack and putting the original back.) There also seems to be a number of Zygarde cells missing, no clue what the fix for that is either...

I just wanted to say that I finally beat that Melia vs Madelis fight. It took forever, but I got Metronome Conversion to Rock type, so reduced damage from Incinerate and STAB Ancient Power. I was too excited not to share.

Not a bug, but I wasn't really sure where to mention this. When you battle Madelis as Melia, her Togepi is shiny in the cut scenes but not shiny during the actual battle.

Awesome! It's been so long since I've played, and I just played through Reborn, that I don't remember any of the story. Seems like the perfect opportunity to start a new run, hopefully with a team I like better!

I watched Lostelle and Dai Laughing's videos, so all I've been doing is running up and down one side of the robot. I just wasn't sure if there was more to it that I wasn't getting from the videos...

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, as my question is not where to find Gastly, but how to get him once I've found him. I've been chasing him around this robot for nearly an hour and I can't interact with him or get him to stop going in circles. I'm just wondering if there is some sort of trick I am missing that will cause him to change his path and allow me to corner him?
