There's something oddly satisfying about clicking on a webcomic because you think you recognize the art style, only to find out that it was actually drawn by the artist it reminded you of.
...Hopefully this doesn't wind up being another Made in Abyss type situation for me...

Update: Due to a series of events that I definitely saw coming (look at the last paragraph specifically), it seems that my attendance to the Winter Revel will be extremely limited this year, unfortunately. But hey, at least I should be able to stop in!
In any case, I'm hoping that I'll be far more active in January than I have been this month. I won't be gotten rid of that easily~!

V13 Spoilers, ahoy!
SpoilerSo, wandering about the land has led me to stumble across this not-so-little lassie first-try.
Seeing as I found her deep within Amethyst Cave, it makes sense that the normal coloration is purple to match the environment- which means these orangey-yellow crystals are likely meant to be citrine.
You see, amethyst and citrine are a rare example of two seemingly separate crystal types being able to grow not just with, but into each other in nature, creating a beautifully gradiented stone known as trystine!

Since the two already go hand-and-hand like this, it makes sense to pair them up here! I just, uh, expected this geological reference to come out of Reborn rather than Rejuvenation...

I mean, the Region's history basically paints as the perfect place for these sorts of weird adaptations and mutations, what between the ancient Garufa's magic still having a tight hold over the land and the absurdity of Storm-9 and whatnot. If anything, it's kind of weird that this didn't happen sooner!

After hours of scouring Gearen Park, I have come to the conclusion that pansage do not actually exist, yet alone the Occa Berries they supposedly carry. Thus, I have to ask: how exactly does berry farming work in Rejuvenation?

Alright, the first major test of my Quiver Dancer Combo (read: volcarona+oricorio) proved to be quite successful once I managed to get them together! Though, uh, maybe trying them out against a foe that has two fast Rock Slide spammers wasn't a wise decision in the first place...

An addendum to a comment I made yesterday: only the first two generations have had their cries updated for some reason... which means that sableye and especially staraptor are safe! For the time being, in any case.

Maybe eevee will be further updated once the Let's GO! version is available if there's enough outcry? If nothing else, it isn't as grating.
On the other hand, I find the new drowzee cry to be kinda amusing for some reason. Didn't expect that monster be a diamond in the rough for me at any point, and yet here we are!

For some reason, my Rejuvenation file decided to automatically go down on the majority of menus. Makes it really hard to accept trades or heal at the Pokemon Center...

Geez, I forgot about how unaware my mother is of my actual technology level. I've got a selfie stick, a phone ->USB shower radio thing, some Bluetooth earbuds, a leg strap to put your phone in while you run, etc. ...and no smartphone to use any of it with. Good thing we have like 3 Goodwills and a Salvation Army in town...

Gosh, I wish I had a life that let be more concerned about whether or not I'll get the item I need to evolve my preferred forme for a new pokemon instead of trying to find somewhere else to go for Thanksgiving because I'm far from thankful for putting up with people who consider cleaning up around the house and cooking whilst trying to get through post-secondary school to be a "form of parasitism" that "negatively affects [their] mental health and relationship with [their] friends"...
