You can Surf against a tree on Bountilla Island to be able to surf on land.

Game crashed when I started a battle with these two Pokemon. Interestingly, it worked before when I started with two different fighters, and then I could continue again when I replaced Toxtricity with someone else.

Drednaw did not learn Rock Tomb upon evolution as it's supposed to. Edit: It appears that Drednaw just has Chewtle's learnset? It learned other moves at the level Chewtle does.

I've monkeyed with that 179 variable a bit, but nothing seems to happen. I could do more, but also I've had a few things happened which made me briefly wonder if I messed up the game, so maybe I should not. At this point, I think my gender is technically male, and I could fix my character by switching spite names around. If anyone has other suggestions or fixes, I'd be thankful, though.

I actually do have Debug mode. I've figured out how to change my name, but not my sprite or gender. I'm past Agate, I am afraid.

I have an old save file I feel like returning to, but my gender got transed since last playing. Is there a way to access hrt and legal name change in-game?

Contentwise, not battling Taka is the clear better choice, at least in e18. The only reason to battle him would be if you feel it's the right thing to do.

In case you didn't know, there is a way to have multiple saved games by manipulating files on your computer (which you can look up on the forums). But yeah, could be interesting to have extra features if you play the game twice. Absolutely no idea if that's feasible though.

I downloaded Redux, but, whenever I try to extract or do anything with it, an error message pops up saying, "Can not open file [Pokemon Reborn Redux] as archive". Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

My Kanto Pokedex is complete except for Kabuto/Kabutops. Soft-resetting until I get a Dome Fossil would be tedious, so I'd rather ask someone for a trade. If you want a Pokemon in return, I can offer any first gen pokemon (those Scyther are hard to come by) or I have extra Helix Fossils and other fossil pokemon I can breed except for Cranidos.

OMG. I was under the impression that the beta testing would have several cycles or bug reporting and fixing. It only occurred to me this morning that it would be the same as the other testing and we were only three hundred some bugs away from community release. Yesssssssssss.

What kind of IV's do you want? Right now the best beldum I have available has 31/31/24/13/31/31 IVs (and Quirky nature and Clear Body). It's also level 23, because I was using it for breeding.

If you need help beyond that and you're willing to train up some Pokemon, you can get a Chinchou as a Shadow Pokemon. The Murkwater field boosts Water-type attacks and a Lanturn with Volt Absorb and Swampert worked like a charm for me in Intense Mode. Just be aware that Water moves also gain Poison typing.

(I read your scenario as that the aliens are weak to a certain kind of paint.) I chose throw paint on everyone, but I would start with my friends and family and convince the ones who would believe me. I would anonymously spread the word of the aliens and their weakness on the internet and hope that it goes viral. Then I would go around throwing paint on everything. Maybe some people I warned would be armed with paint guns to fend off the invaders, but I suck at everything physically so I would be best spreading protection beforehand and getting arrested.

Go to either Tanzan Mountain or the Railway (I forgot what I did). Bring a pokemon that can OHKO a wild graveler. When you find one you don't KO because it has sturdy, catch it. The graveler should already know bulldoze which will destroy the field. You'll have to give up one of your normal pokemon, but destroying the field is worth it if you're having trouble.

So I've been thinking about EV training for my mono-type Psychic run and been looking around the forums for info about that. I've heard mention that opponents (for boss battles) started having EV-trained teams/ better EV-trained teams about when you leave Reborn City for Agate. Is there is a noticeable difference in opponent EVs around that or any point in the game? (In my first, normal run I started having more trouble with boss battles after leaving Reborn so if it's true I'll feel better about myself.)
