  1. Sparrow Inn Whatever the Onryo might have said died within her throat as the Goddess before her settled on her judgement, the pieces of its body falling to the floor without much dramatics, followed up by the Ogre's explosion of blood. For several seconds, the sight of the demon's death hung in the air... Before the wind and more sakura petals began to circle around the room, easily wiping away the flames and damage that the battle had brought into the room, along with clearing out the remains of the demons that had fought against them, leaving nothing but a collection of flowers in its wake. Most importantly, before Mitsu lied a rather unique black flower with a red middle, surrounded by various items, such as the broken half of the Onryo's mask, a bladed disk, and most peculiarly, a large arrow strapped to a key, marked by several kanji that marked it as an Exorcism Arrow. Ako "Phew... That was rough. Now I know why Onryo are so rare, that sort of malice doesn't come easy" Ako commented as she pushed herself to her feet, holding her side as Spray moved forward to try and help the Goddess. Though, a split second later, Ako snapped her fingers, quickly retrieving the cursed slip from her sleeve, glancing at it before nodding, "Alright, that's the second down. Now all that's left is about one more and I should be able to open up the barrier that protects Him." Rewards
  2. Battle Theme After spending time wall driving in circles, Mot finally gets the opening he was looking for as the Onryo crashes into the throne, aiming his sights on the demon as she began to clamber out of the wreck. Then, three heavy shots ring out as Mot opens fire, each hit striking the Onryo’s mask and dealing 70, 78, and 73 damage, the triple shots causing a loud snap as the Onryo’s mask began to crack open. Though, in response, the Onryo’s eyes flashed towards Mot, an inhuman screech erupting from the demon before it rushed forward, passing by Lexiel’s wall and Mitsu (dealing 32 and 29 damage respectively due to the bladed fans) as she charged Mot, striking down at him for 27 damage. … But, in the heat of the moment, the Onryo’s back was left wide open, and though Mitsu was wounded, she still had the speed needed to take advantage of it, blitzing forward and cleaving into the demon for 122 damage, nearly splitting the spirit in two and causing her to stumble forward, bladed fans dropping from her hands, her hands grasping at her chest as blood began to pool out, “No… No, this is… Why must you gods continue to torment me?! I did nothing wrong, NOTHING! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TAKE WHAT I'VE EARNED!” the demon growled as she fell to a knee, another crack forming in her mask as she desperately tried to stay up, even as the fires began to spread to her bloodied robes. Likewise, the Bud Ogre attempted to roar in defiance against Spicy’s will, only to be slashed across the face and forced back down, the bud on its back opening again to reveal the fruit within. It could’ve struggled more, but with its master defeated, the fight seemed to have left the demon as well, causing it to simply sit and wait for the heat and flames to consume it. Final Status
  3. Keeping her expression firm, Godiva nodded at Mim's information, doing her best to remain as focused as possible with the person she was trying to save, "Yeah, I can tell that it's done some of the work for me. Wound's deep, but with you two stabilizing him, he should make a good recovery. So long as he... Doesn't do anything strenuous."
  4. Osada Shortly before Masako flew back down to the floor Osada was still on, the wandering swordsman had taken his spot back at the table, pouring yet another drink as he looked up at his current host, raising an eyebrow at the mention of 'flying', "Huh, I completely forgot that the girl could fly as well. I take it she's not used to it yet?" he questioned, drinking from his cup once more, right before shaking his head, "Regardless, it's good to see things have settled down. It would be rude of me to drink all of this sake by my lonesome."
  5. Osada Still taking yet another sip of sake, Osada barely flinched when the tetsubo slammed into the ground beside him, merely giving it a glance before letting out a sigh, bending down and picking up the iron weapon with one hand and moving it back to where Masako had first retrieved it. Best to keep things where they needed to be after all, and Osada wasn't going to be a rude houseguest and let the place be trashed even further.
  6. Osada For the most part, Osada remained as a diligent house guest, raising his eyebrow at the large amount of sake, barely taking heed of the muffled thumping upstairs and of both Masako's departure. Though, in the midst of taking a drink of the rich sake, Osada did note Isobel moving, largely due to how fast and abrupt it was, coupled with the noise caused by a woman scrambling to a second floor without the help of stairs. He was fairly impressed, he would admit, moves like that weren't easy to pull off. After a few moments though, Osada let out a sigh, standing up from the table and, pouring another cup of sake for himself, walked over to the gap in the ceiling, taking another sip as he listened to the voices above him. The world was certainly full of interesting people, that was for sure.
  7. Mira "Affirmative. I'll contact you as soon as we're ready to move" Mira responded bluntly, moving the phone away from her head, "Histoire is ready to retrieve us. If you have anything left to do, do it quick."
  8. Thankfully, those fragments was enough for Godiva to understand, causing the noble girl to immediately begin sprinting through the halls, not wasting a second to ponder what had happened. All she needed to know was that her skills were needed, and they were needed now. As she ran out, she barely took notice of the bodies that lay across the ground along her path, belonging to those already dead, instead focusing on the trio of Virtious members by the woods, dashing over and instantly taking notice of the blood that stained the white ground. "I'll take it from here, thank you" she said as she knelt by Ferdiad, taking stock of the current situation. A stab wound to the gut... A bad spot to be sure, especially with how deep it is, but something she could work with, especially given how pressure had already been applied to the wound area for her already. With her staff by her side, she'd just need focus and patience to properly treat the man, Orchid as Arthur called him. And focus Godiva did, staying silent as she went about her work with a steeled gaze, periodically swapping between using her staff's magic and using more mundane ways of treating a wound.
  9. "Just take some time to rest. The antidote should do its work, but obviously it'll take time for back in shape" Godiva advised as she finished patching up the arrow wound that had been the source of Liz's pain, standing back to her full height and brushing off her coat. With any luck, the two would be back in shape by days end, and with the remaining Perusian and Rians having fled, they would be able to rest until then, though it would help for them to have something comfortable to sleep on. She'd have to scrounge the fort a bit, see if there were any supplies she could use as she went to patch up the rest of the wounded- At the sound of the hallway's door being burst open, Godiva was snapped from her thoughts, the young noble's head snapping to its direction to see her cousin running in, violet haired girl in hand, both appearing... Quite distressed, causing Godiva to instinctively place a hand on her staff, "Huh? Arthur, what's-"
  10. Mira For a few moments, Mira seems set on continuing the fight, glaring daggers at the downed Trespasser. However, after glancing back at Saejik, the Dark One... Simply flips her blade around, clipping it onto her armor once more. If they couldn't handle it, then she'd simply kill it when it escaped. She already nearly did, recuperating wouldn't change the outcome of next time. Mira didn't exactly care for a reward either... A weapon had no need for something so trivial. As soon as the world began to move again though, Mira reached down and retrieved her phone, answering the call without even bothering to check the caller ID, "What is it?" she asked, turning away from where the Trespasser's body once was and staring at the progress of the other group, gauging their progress now that they could move again.
  11. "In that case, here. Let me help you lay down, I've got another one on me" Godiva stated, stepping over to assist the poisoned girl whilst also pulling out a second antidote, getting to work on applying it to Lizaveta before the poison could do anymore lasting damage.
  12. Taking note of Lizaveta's approach, Godiva made sure to shuffle a little bit to the side as she helped Shin's recovering, applying the last bit of antidote before standing up and glancing over at the red clothed woman, "I think so, but just barely. I'm not an expert on poisons, but the antidote should help his recovery" Godiva explained, looking over Lizaveta's crouching form while a growing frown crept onto her expression, "... You got hit by that Death guy's arrows too, right? Did you get an antidote as well?"
  13. With Famine taking his leave, Godiva was quick to hop off of her mount, finally patting out the fires that were growing on her coat as the Perusians and 'traitors' all fled the field. What was once a battle for their lives was left with an odd silence as the others recuperated from their battle. ... Well, except the two that were shot and knocked down by Death's arrows, who were still not moving. That wasn't a good sign. "Hand me one of those, thanks" Godiva said as she came up to Kane, taking one of the antidotes before he could actually give her a proper response before running over to Shin, kneeling next to the unconscious archer. She at least knew a bit of how to cure someone of poison, but hopefully this Death guy's poisons didn't stray too far from her realm of understanding.
  14. Adding Lysander so they can be auto'd properly Lysander to L4, Wind War. Godiva moves to J4 to heal Shin, then Cantos to H5. Arthur uses his own Wind on Spy C, then uses Press the Assault on Lysander. Lysander uses Wind again on War.
  15. Doing her best to keep her steed calm, Godiva made a futile attempt to pat down the flames that were growing on her coat, "Crap, crap crap why does everyone use fire?!" Godiva asked as she tried to get rid of the flames, only managing to further spread them to her arms before ultimately letting out a groan and temporarily ignore it. She had plenty of coat, the fire wasn't that bad, she'd waste more time focusing on it rather than the fight itself. Godiva moves to K2, heal Lizaveta to pick her back up. Lucy moves to J2 and performs for Godiva and Mim. Kane goes to M3 and Plague Darts Spy C because he can.
  16. Refusing to give the figure a chance to breathe, Mira advances and attacks with Black Heart again, dealing 6d8+11 damage and gaining a fourth stack of Greed, reducing her DR by 2 but giving her +2 Syn. She currently has 3 Magra, and will gain an extra bit in two turns. Loadout
  17. Mira For an instant, Mira actually had to prevent herself from letting out a 'what' in response to the figure disappearing into yellow dust, but a momentary slip in her defenses was all she was willing to offer as she spun around, dragging her sword behind her before swinging it up at the figure once again, a mixture of Magra and earth being flung alongside the swing. Mira uses Crescent Slash again, still wanting that 6d8+4d6+11 damage. She now has 0 Magra, but will gain an extra bit in 1 turn. Loadout
  18. Mira, surprisingly enough, doesn't do the same thing again. Instead, she spends 4 Magra to use Crescent Slash, attacking the Figure for 6d8+4d6+11 damage. She now has 2 Magra, and will gain an extra bit in two turns. Loadout
  19. Mira does it again, attacking the figure with Black Heart to deal another 6d8+11 damage and gain another stack of Greed, reducing her DR by 1 but giving her +1 Syn. She now has 3 Magra, and will gain an extra bit in her next turn. Loadout
  20. Mira In response to the flash of light, the dark shroud of Magra that hung around Mira began to thicken, swirling around her body as she took a step forward herself, sword still hovering just above the ground. Mira begins the fight by using the Helmet of Judge in order to view the Mysterious Figure's HP, or at least attempt to. Then she'll use her actual action to attack with Black Heart, dealing 6d8+11 damage and gaining a stack of greed. She currently has 1 Magra, and will gain an extra bit of Magra in two turns. Loadout
  21. Mira "Fine" Mira stated simply, rolling the shoulder of her sword arm back in preparation. She was certain that they could take the figure and their posse, but a 2 on 1, even if it was still stacked against the figure, was acceptable enough. It would make things faster at the very least. Though, truth be told, she didn't exactly care about the offer of one question, she really only had her sights on the Trespasser itself. She was ordered to kill the damn thing, and she wasn't going to half ass it.
  22. Mira Once the first spear impacted with the ground, Mira spun around, taking in the appearance of the odd, draconic humanoids before switching her attention to the black line, and shortly after, the black hooded figure that stepped out of it. As Saejik objected to their demand/request, Mira simply stood where she was, taking stock of the new arrival and their creatures... Before simply tilting her head forward, as if glaring at the hooded figure, "Step aside, now. Unless you want to join that creature in the afterlife." she stated, welling up as much Magra as she could in order to distort the sound of her voice, returning it to the deep and distorted state that she generally reserved for out of combat situations. Or, in this case, near-combat situations.
  23. Mira "... So much for being the 'Ultimate' being" Mira commented as she rolled her shoulders back, turning away from the now broken "God" and final CFW, looking back at the group, mostly to take stock on how the others were doing against the wave of monsters Magic had sent their way. She didn't expect them to be having any troubles, but hopefully there was at least some left. Magic hadn't done the job of getting Mira's thoughts out of her head with the fight.
  24. Battle Theme Mot, Kino, and Emna hold their turns… Again… Standing amidst the flames, the Onryo snapped her head in Mitsu’s direction, right before becoming a blur once again, slashing into Kino and Enma for 27 and 30 damage respectively as she made a mad sprint towards Mitsu, clashing with the goddess even as her power and the flames began to wash over her being. In an odd twist of fate however, the Onryo managed to strike first, driving her bladed fans into her torso for 21 damage… A wound that would’ve been far more disastrous if not for the protective slip of paper that slowed the blow just enough. It hurt, but the goddess would live on. As for the Onryo, the flames continued to eat away at her, dealing 27 damage… Right before Mitsu’s strike landed, a large explosion of heat and force launching the Onryo away and slamming her into the very throne she had once sat on, dealing a grand total of 66 damage. The Ubumes hold their turn, as they are unable to do anything thanks to being split in two and vaporized respectively. Spicy intensifies the heat, adding more flames to the growing tide. Twitching back to life, the flower upon the Bud Ogre’s back closes itself, protecting the fruit inside as the demon slowly rose to its feet, letting out a roar before charging at Ako and slamming into her, dealing 31 damage and knocking the Shrine Maiden back. Though at the same time, it’s seared by the fires left by Spicy, burning it for 46 damage. Thankfully for Ako however, the blow wasn’t enough put her down for good, allowing the Shrine Maiden to press one Barrier Slip to herself while throwing the other at Mitsu, another gust of Sakura petals weaving through the flames to keep the goddess up, healing her for another 12 HP. Spray, always the helper, does his best to patch Ako up, giving her 17 HP to use up. After taking its sweet time to arrive, the Spark Trooper finally lands in the burning room, taking a quick potshot at the Onryo as they struggled to climb out of their ruined chair, dealing 10 damage, and then turning to heal the heavily wounded Goddess for 15 HP before disappearing with a little pop. Additionally, the Soul Warden does their magic, healing everyone on Lexiel’s side for an extra 5 HP. Another pulse of flame weaves through the arena, ticking down the Onryo’s life by an extra 21 damage. Turn Order Status
  25. "..." Godiva... Didn't have much in the way of words anymore. As much as she wanted to bid Siegmund a proper farewell, there was also the issue of his past actions and the present situation. Somehow the situation kept getting more and more chaotic, next she might as well expect her uncle to burst through the walls ready to do battle with everyone in sight. But, as intimidating as the moniker of "Icons of Sin" was... Godiva wasn't about to back down now. Virtuous still seemed to need her helping hand. Godiva moves to H8, heals Lysander, then cantos to I6.
