Now that the English subbed version of SRW X has been out, some good quality versions of the stages are finally being uploaded.  While I haven't looked through every part in the list (that's out so far), I at least pieced together Code Geass'  role/plot in the context of this story.   Here is one of the main CG related stages, which I showed previously---Lelouch's reappearance.

Like a few other SRW games since Z, this one goes with the premise of multiple worlds being mashed together (or at least individuals from a world being transported to a new one----like in A.C.E. R).   From earlier stages and their notes, it seems Code Geass shared a world with Gundam Wing,  Aura Battler Dunbine, and possibly Daitarn 3.    Code Geass is a post-story inclusion here, since the plot is already finished

    Differences/adaptions of the series endings:

    Spoiler

Two of the main faction leaders in Gundam Wing (Trieze  and Zechs  of OZ) threw in his support with Emperor Lelouch while the colonies sent the Gundams of that series to aid the Black Knights/Shienzel;  the Gundams were waylayed in space by OZ, so the fighting wasn't that much different than the original CG and GW.   While I don't know if the whole 'two months where Lelouch was in control' happened, though it is noted Lelouch was shot......much more survivable than a sword in the chest.

The sides of the final battle (CG ep 22-25) are remarkably similar to how they were in Z 2.2, with the main difference being Trieze siding with Lelouch over Shnizel.  With how much that game hammered how similar E. Lelouch's goal was to Trieze and Zech's  shared goal,   their alliance isn't too surprising.

It seems the enemy faction of Aura Battler Dunbine sided with Lelouch as well, while the protagonists sided with the Black Knights.  Haven't watched that series yet though.

CG role:   While Kallen and Suzaku join the main 'protagonist faction' early on to help fight against the sides trying to reignite conflict in the newly combined world,  Jeremiah and Anya appear as part of the non-human enemy faction from

Mashin Hero Wataru.   They are mum about their reasons for joining before this stage.

    Notable parts pf the video:

Intro/begining:  First 3 or so minutes;  also 4:30-5:30

    Anya/Jeremiah quotes--  11:00-11:20 (pre-battle);   18:45 (retreat quotes)

Main event-- Starts at about 19:20

Still wondering how they are going to incorporate the whole 'Marianne coming back' plot in here.

Also, forgot to note these times:

      Lelouch's pre-battle quote: 27:10   and  34:00

      CC's pre-battle quote: 28:25

      Anya's allied pre-battle:  28:55

      Jerrimiah:  31:35

Harsh burn from Suzaku  37:55  with the stage end coming right after

I can't say personally, since the latest I can play is Z2.2 on a PSP emulator, but I'll comment on a few aspects.

Even the recycled animations they resused from Z3 (PS3/Vita) and V (PS4/Vita)  look good alongside the newer stuff.

I can't comment much about the crossover aspect of this one yet (since I don't know the story as a whole), but Banpresto has a mostly great track record of making the stories fit together well.

I know they added a new system to combat here, though it seems mostly to the players benefit.  There has already been concerns about the games getting easier since Z2.1, but I haven't heard much on that since Z3 a few years ago (which was noted to be fairly easy).  I know they added a beginner's mode for newer players, so maybe that separated the difficulties better.
