  1. "Grenades? In a confined space like this?" Mirri questions incredulously, "If I tried to use one you'd be scraping us all off the walls. I'm not carrying any, but if I was using one would be quite unwise."
  2. Escort Missions. Of course. And not even the fun kind. No, you poor saps are stuck escorting three freighters hauling cold cases of strawberries (and other assorted Terran fruits), because the elven population of the Coalition has apparently decided they’re a fad. To top it all off, they didn’t even give you a decent unit to work with. No, you guys are in the Void Rangers, that experimental unit you’ve all been hearing about. A grand gesture of peace and cooperation between the Federation, Coalition, and Council they call it, a step toward reconciliation after two thousand years of war. Most of you are at least half convinced it’s actually your previous commanding officers trying to get you shot in the back. The rest are the poor suckers and Councilors who volunteered for this disaster in the making. On the positive side, you actually have capital ship support for this mission; no piggybacking off the freighters’ FTL tunneling drives. Captain La Lune and her dreadnought Crescent have a good if unremarkable reputation. And legendary Coalition veteran Master Sergeant Sigmus Vulcair has signed up too (for some inscrutable reason), so you know your marines are in good hands. If only the rest of the crew was as noteworthy. Or at least as trustworthy. But who the heck is going to bother accosting a convoy full of fruit? At least you know the shakedown run is probably not going to end with a quick trip to the necromancers in the infirmary. [OOC: You guys are loaded into your vehicles and/or the capital ship Crescent, escorting a group of freighters supposedly packed with fruit through a rough area of space. FTL tunneling drives are effectively teleportation, but they don’t have unlimited range and using them too often in sequence can cause problems. Take the time to decide where each of your characters are, and get to know each other a bit better. Maybe scout the area?]
  3. "You fear paperwork?" Mirri scoffs, practically oozing distain, "You clearly lack discipline and resolve."
  4. "TIE fighters are crap!" Mirri shouts out to Soma. Her hearing is oddly good for someone who claims to have no powers, "No armor, no shields, no hyperdrive, no life support, and spitball launchers for guns. I have an X-Wing. Which is a thousand times better. "And I'm getting a head start on salvage. The longer we let this thing sit and burn, the less likely it is that we'll pull anything functional out of here. Why, you want to help?"
  5. Mirri decides to investigate the salvage that the warehouse team brought over. She calls up R2-P14 to fly over her X-Wing, keeping out over the water and flying low to avoid messing up any air traffic in the area, and has him set down outside the warehouse. Then she grabs her Imperial Navy Surplus toolkit and astromech droid, and heads over to see if she can pull anything good out of the wreck. She also invites Satomi to come along and help.
  6. Mirri ignores the offered food; there's little guarantee that alien foods are compatible with her, so she's reluctant to trust anything she hasn't scanned and prepared herself. Instead, she chokes down a ration bar when she thinks nobody's looking, before finding an open place within the warehouse to set up an impromptu firing range. Then she starts practicing with her stun bolts, keeping an ear out for anyone who's approaching to talk.
  7. "I don't have any powers," Mirri states, "I shoot things. I have an aerospace engineering degree. And a substantial amount of training as a pilot, smith and fencer. What more do you need? But if you want to see what I can do, I'm always up for showing off to potential customers. Feel free to send jobs my way whenever you want to trade cash for backup or air support."
  8. Taylor heads off after group 2, soon reaching the place where they stare stumped at the mushroom Pokemon-infested area. After a few moments of contemplation, Taylor marches up to the mushrooms, careful to stay out of what he's pretty sure is maximum spore-throwing range, and calls out to them. "Hello there! I am Taylor. It is a pleasure to meet you. I wonder if you might be persuaded to relocate? You seem to have sapped much of the available sustenance from this area, and we would be happy to help relocate you to a place with more abundant food."
  9. Mirri attempts to spend the time meditating to re-center herself within the Living Force (and train essence), though she will engage if conversed with during this time.
  10. Taylor decides to ask around among the Aether employees. He wants to know what kinds of Pokemon have been seen in each of the directions groups seem to be heading in. He'll gladly help one of them as best he can, but he's looking to expand his team and wants to know what his options are.
  11. "I could use a ride. I have a transport, but it's not the best for laying low," Mirri states, "If you're offering, I'll take you up on it."
  12. Mirri exits her building when the sounds of fire abruptly vanish along with Lung's angry emotional signature, in time to hear Armsmaster speak. "A debriefing. At your station. And we would be free to leave afterw- You have coffee? Like, actual coffee? And you'd just give us some?" Mirri's voice abruptly raises an octave and gets far less growly, making it much clearer that there is in fact a woman under her armor. "Erm, I don't believe we've decided on a group name as of yet. We just sort of arrived together," She improvises quickly, "We saw the gigantic pillar of fire, and figured we could help with search and rescue. Ran into each other in transit, and decided to work together. The dragon man was a bit of a surprise." A lot of a surprise. "But assuming you aren't trying something as foolish as arresting us, I would be willing to cooperate."
  13. Mirri heads for the rooftop, and speaks into her commlink. "R2-P14, run pre-flight checks and get ready to lift off the moment I give the word. Don't know if we'll need to go hot, but with that Dark Sider throwing fire everywhere we might. Stay on the line, Mirri out." She takes entire flights of stairs in a single bound despite her heavy armor, reaches the roof, and looks around, both at the scene below and for anyone else lurking on the rooftops. With how these bugs are behaving, there's got to be somebody controlling them, or at least throwing pheremone lures around. They weren't spotted by anyone on the ground, so they might be up here.
  14. Mirri decides that her attempts to extinguish the gangsters aren't doing much, as she isn't very good at it. Besides, gangsters are the worst kind of scum. She'll worry more about them when the civilians are safe. Mirri attempts to scale Building D with her Force Leap trick, and assist with the evacuation as best she can.
  15. Mirri swirls her cloak about herself, and attempts to use it to extinguish the flaming gangsters. It's made of fireproof cloth, so it should be able to smother the flames. Better to arrest them than to let them die. (Mirri has a stack of Rage, and so gets -2 on the check).
  16. Mirri considers her options briefly, and paints everyone armed she doesn't recognise with her HUD. She doesn't have any way to fix the buildings, there don't seem to be nearly as many civilians as she'd feared would be near. So, the first priority is to reduce the available threats. So she starts pumping stun bolts into Gangster Group A with Blaster Volley (1d3 + int damage, nonlethal, fires twice, 40% miss chance), aiming for those of them who are carrying weapons.
  17. Mirri vaults to the back of the horse with little difficulty. Through Jedi techniques, a trick, 'Force Leap (level 1)', has been developed. While equipped or out of combat, the user can jump [synergy] feet higher and farther than usual. Once there, she focuses on scanning for civilians or other things of note with her eyes and helmet sensors.
  18. Mirri switches her blaster rifle back to lethal, and starts jogging towards the disaster area, using her helmet's limited sensors to try to pick up signs of people in distress. "Anyone who wants to help with damage control, follow me! Keep an eye out for survivors, or other hostiles. I don't expect a lot of people who can run to stick around that, but you never know with the real fanatics."
  19. "If those flames spread, we're unlikely to have a warehouse to go for," Mirri points out, "Even if we can't fight whoever's causing that directly, we can at least help bystanders get out of the line of fire. My armor should hold unless those flames get a lot hotter than they look, so I could pull people out of burning buildings. Don't think with your blasters. Or whatever other weapons you're packing. They're not as good as your brains."
  20. Maris follows Ragash up the mushrooms, doing his best to be quiet (stealth check 25! Max roll!). He keeps a close eye out for anything dangerous, especially more flesh-eating mini dragons.
  21. "I'm Mirri of Clan Av. Mandalorian Supercommando, professional pilot and mercenary," Mirri introduces herself, "My ship is an X-Wing starfighter, a general purpose combat craft. If I call it in, we're almost certain to be noticed, but it can carry a few passengers as long as I take things low and slow. On the other hand, my people have a saying. It's one thing to see us coming. It's a whole different matter to do something about it. While I fully support destroying these gangs, there aren't a lot of us, and not all of us are soldiers. There's got to be an alternative. Maybe if we did something about those boats? I could try to improvise some heavy ordinance to clear it out, if I had more supplies. Aih, I wish I'd brought more proton torpedoes."
  22. "So this is Nar Shadda," Mirri muses, "Well, obviously it isn't actually Nar Shadda, but it's exactly like how everyone describes the place. Wait, no, stick with the group!" Too late, the girl and her dragon are gone. "Ugh! What part of low profile didn't- I can go after her, but the only way I have of flying is going to attract a lot of attention. And possibly anti-aircraft fire, depending on how paranoid the local law enforcement is. Sithspit, there's a difference between confidence and- and whatever that is!"
  23. "A star. Uhuh. I'm Darth Revan," Mirri mutters absently at Calveraas she checks her commlink (which basically looks like a phone). Apparently satisfied with whatever she'd heard from it, she walks over to the alleyway enterance and takes a look around.
  24. "So when the monsters come to kill them, they have no idea what's coming?" Mirri chimes, body language oozing distain at Frigus' philosophy, "Ignorance is only bliss until someone shoves a blade in your back. Pah, sanctity? Purity? You mean you march towards the past, instead of the future. Destruction comes, whether you know it approaches or not. My brothers and I would face it head on, and I have met few even among the soft-skins who would disagree. We have had enough of the fruits of stagnation and cowardice."
